El autor chileno habla con Visionarias sobre su trabajo y el concepto humanista que ha afectado la vida de la mujer y el pensamiento de las nuevas generaciones
En nuestra sección literaria estamos acostumbradas a hacer recomendaciones de libros de diferentes temas y géneros que sin duda te interesan y hasta son de ayuda en algún momento de tu vida, sin embargo, en esta ocasión, hablaremos de un autor, con quien Visionarias tuvo la oportunidad de platicar.
David Hormachea, pastor y escritor cristiano, de 72 años, es creador de títulos que le han dado la vuelta al mundo, entre ellos “Para Matrimonios con Amor: Aprendiendo a Vivir con Nuestras Diferencias”, “Una Puerta Llamada Divorcio”, “Cartas a mi Amiga Maltratada”, “Cómo Disciplinar a mis Hijos sin Abusar de Ellos” y “Cómo ser Padres Buenos en un Mundo Malo”, todos con un mensaje poderoso que puede cambiar la vida de quien lo lee.
Sobre sus libros nos cuenta que toda la vida la ha dedicado a escribir, “lo más que puedo”, indica.
“Cada libro mío tiene una tesis, en el primero ‘Para Matrimonios con Amor: Aprendiendo a Vivir con Nuestras Diferencias’ la tesis es: Dios no nos hizo diferentes para que nos ataquemos constantemente, sino para que nos apoyemos mutuamente”, nos cuenta.
Luego viene “Una Puerta llamada Divorcio”, donde nos dice que Dios no decidió por nosotros el divorcio, “el divorcio es una benevolencia divina a una debilidad humana en los casos bíblicamente aceptados”, mientras que en “Cartas a mi Amiga Maltratada” nos habla de que la violencia contra la mujer es un pecado que tiene que ser abandonado.
Por otra parte, nos habla de los hijos en “Cómo ser Padres Buenos en un Mundo Malo”, en el que nos cuenta que “hijos rebeldes nacen de padres pecaminosos, pero hijos rebeldes también nacen de padres piadosos, e hijos piadosos también nacen de padres rebeldes”, a lo cual agrega que “no siempre es culpa de los padres, a veces es culpa de los hijos”.
‘Dios la creó para algo’
En sus libros también habla sobre los conceptos humanistas, que no creen en la familia, “todo este concepto de cambiar las ideas también afectó la vida de la mujer y tristemente las madres no tienen un concepto correcto del diseño divino para la maternidad… hay mujeres que creen que todo gira en torno a su maternidad y luego queda el nido vacío y ellas también, no tienen metas, no tienen nada”, aunque aclara que “la vida de la mujer no es sólo la maternidad, ella fue creada con propósito, Dios le dio dones”.
Sobre el tema, agrega que “ninguna madre va a ser feliz sólo siendo madre… ninguna mujer va a ser infeliz si deja de ser madre, una mujer es feliz cuando cumple la razón de su creación, Dios la creó para algo”.
Afirma que “la felicidad es cumplir la razón que Dios tuvo para mi creación”.
En cuanto a las nuevas generaciones, él cree que “el grave problema que tiene la sociedad es el sistema de pensamiento humanista, ateo, agnóstico, secularista, progresista que ha cambiado todas las definiciones… del sistema humanista el enemigo a vencer es el cristianismo, el único enemigo que tiene, no tiene otro enemigo, ellos se tomaron los gobiernos, la educación, los medios de comunicación, todo lo dominan y con sus enseñanzas han ido desvirtuando todas las cosas”, finaliza.

The Chilean author speaks with Visionarias about his work and the humanist concept that has influenced women’s lives and the thinking of new generations.
In our literary section, we’re accustomed to recommending books on different topics and genres that undoubtedly interest you and may even be helpful at some point in your life. However, on this occasion, we’ll talk about an author with whom Visionarias had the opportunity to speak.
David Hormachea, a 72-year-old Christian pastor and writer, is the author of titles that have been read worldwide, including “For Marriages with Love: Learning to Live with Our Differences,” “A Door Called Divorce,” “Letters to My Abused Friend,” “How to Discipline My Children Without Abusing Them,” and “How to Be Good Parents in a Bad World,” all with a powerful message that can change the life of those who read them.
Regarding his books, he tells us that he has dedicated his entire life to writing, “as much as I can,” he says.
“Each of my books has a thesis. In the first one, ‘For Marriages with Love: Learning to Live with Our Differences,’ the thesis is: God didn’t make us different so that we would constantly attack each other, but so that we would support each other,” she tells us.
Then comes “A Door Called Divorce,” where she tells us that God didn’t decide divorce for us; “divorce is a divine benevolence in response to a human weakness in biblically accepted cases.” While in “Letters to My Battered Friend,” she tells us that violence against women is a sin that must be abandoned.
On the other hand, she talks about children in “How to Be Good Parents in a Bad World,” in which she tells us that “rebellious children are born to sinful parents, but rebellious children are also born to godly parents, and godly children are also born to rebellious parents,” to which she adds that “it’s not always the parents’ fault; sometimes it’s the children’s fault.”
‘God created her for a reason’
In her books, she also talks about humanist concepts, which don’t believe in the family. “This whole concept of changing ideas has also affected women’s lives, and sadly, mothers don’t have a correct understanding of God’s design for motherhood… There are women who believe that everything revolves around their motherhood, and then the nest is empty, and they too, they have no goals, they have nothing,” although she clarifies that “a woman’s life isn’t just about motherhood. She was created with a purpose; God gave her gifts.”
On the subject, she adds that “no mother will be happy just being a mother… no woman will be unhappy if she stops being a mother. A woman is happy when she fulfills the reason for her creation. God created her for a reason.”
She affirms that “happiness is fulfilling the reason God had for my creation.”
Regarding the new generations, he believes that “the serious problem that society has is the humanist, atheist, agnostic, secularist, progressive system of thought that has changed all definitions… of the humanist system, the enemy to defeat is Christianity, the only enemy it has, it has no other enemy, they took over governments, education, the media, they dominate everything and with their teachings they have been distorting everything,” he concludes.
