Bienvenidas a la edición de junio de la revista Visionarias, en esta ocasión abordamos temas tan interesantes como la sexualidad y cómo hablar de ella con nuestros hijos, entre otros temas que me llenan de orgullo pues sé que aportarán conocimiento y variedad a tu vida.
Cabe destacar el término del mes de mayo y la celebración del Día de las Madres, la cual tristemente opaca el festejo de los padres, quienes también tienen un día, esta vez el domingo 20 de junio.
Personalmente pienso que es menospreciada la honra que se merecen los padres, pues no mostramos el mismo entusiasmo a la hora de felicitar a los hombres que son parte importante en la formación de un hijo.
Quizás sea el machismo que hemos fomentado en la cultura, o la falta de valor y conocimiento que se tiene del papel tan importante que llevan a cabo los padres, o simplemente ignorar cuál es su rol dentro de la familia.
Siempre he pensado que el hombre no tiene la culpa de todo, pues la mayoría de ellos fueron criados por una mujer que les debió enseñar a cuidar y amar a su pareja, así que aquellos que a pesar de no ser educados para dar su lugar a la mujer, lo hacen, merecen ser honrados.
Bien dice la palabra de Dios en los mandamientos, honrar a los padres, que además viene con una promesa de larga vida.
Es tiempo de cambiar la cultura y cultivar la honra y el amor a cada uno de los miembros de la familia, para tener una mejor sociedad.
Hijos, obedeced en el Señor a vuestros padres, porque esto es justo. Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa.”

Welcome to the June edition of Visionarias magazine, this time we address interesting topics such as sexuality and how to talk about it with our children, among other topics that fill me with pride because I know they will bring knowledge and variety to your life.
It is worth mentioning the end of May and the celebration of Mother’s Day, which sadly overshadows the celebration of fathers, who also have a day, this time on Sunday, June 20.
I personally think that the honor that fathers deserve is undervalued, because we don’t show the same enthusiasm when it comes to congratulating men who are an important part in the formation of a child.
Perhaps it’s the machismo that we have fostered in the culture, or the lack of value and knowledge of the important role that fathers play, or simply the ignorance of their role in the family.
I have always thought that men are not to blame for everything, since most of them were raised by a woman who should have taught them to care for and love their partner, so those who, despite not being educated to give their place to women, do so, deserve to be honored.
Well says the word of God in the commandments, honor parents, which also comes with a promise of long life.
It’s time to change the culture and cultivate honor and love for each of the members of the family, to have a better society.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise.”
