Esta época para algunos seguramente sólo es el fin de un ciclo, sin embargo, hay muchos otros para quienes es el momento de agradecer todo lo que se nos ha dado, sobre todo en este año que ha sido muy complicado.
Por ejemplo, el otro día leí un comentario de una persona que compartía que a ella le fue súper bien en muchos sentidos, el trabajo, la familiar, etcétera, lo cual me dio gusto, pues también he sabido de personas que no la pasaron tan bien, ya sea porque estuvieron al borde de la muerte, perdieron su empleo e incluso a un familiar.
Por estas y otras situaciones es que creo, ahora más que nunca, que debemos rescatar el verdadero sentido de la Navidad, el nacimiento de nuestro salvador, el cual -según la biblia-, tiene diversos nombres para poder hablarle.
Nos dice: “Pues nos ha nacido un niño, un hijo se nos ha dado; el gobierno descansará sobre sus hombros, y será llamado: Consejero Maravilloso, Dios Poderoso, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de Paz”. (Isaías 9:6 NTV), así que simplemente dejemos que él gobierne estas fiestas, que sin duda serán diferentes.
En otros años, diciembre era el mes de las posadas, las reuniones, los regalos y la comida; en México la fiesta terminaba hasta enero.
Desafortunadamente, este año muchas personas ni siquiera piensan en cómo pasarán la Noche Buena, es por eso que te sugiero poner tus pensamientos y tu esperanza en agradecimiento a Dios por lo que viviste en otros años, por tu familia que está y por la que ya no está, por el tiempo que pasaste y disfrutaste de su compañía, y que comiences desde cero la tradición de Navidad.
Que esta vez la celebración sea más que regalos, que sea una actitud de amor hacia los demás. Que tus hábitos diarios comiencen diferentes, tal vez con la lectura de la Biblia en la que seguro encontrarás paz y gozo al descubrir el verdadero sentido de esta festividad.
La Revista Visionarias te desea que este mes y el próximo año, sea de bendición y que Dios te dé la fuerza, el sustento y la sabiduría para dirigir tu vida y a tu familia, además de la esperanza de que habrá tiempos mejores. Acércate al Señor para experimentar su amor y su paz.
December 2020 has arrived!
This time for some is surely just the end of a cycle, however, there are many others for whom it’s time to be grateful for all that has been given to us, especially in this year which has been very complicated.
For example, the other day I read a comment from a person who shared that she did super well in many ways, work, family, etc., which made me happy, because I have also heard from people who didn’t have such a good time, either because they were on the verge of death, lost their job or even a family member.
Because of these and other situations, I believe, now more than ever, that we must rescue the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our savior, which -according to the Bible-, has different names to be able to speak to him.
He says, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon, his shoulder, his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.. (Isaiah 9:6 NTV), so let’s just let him rule these celebrations, which will no doubt be different.
In other years, December was the month of posadas, meetings, gifts and food; in Mexico the party ended in January.
Unfortunately, this year many people don’t even think about how they will spend Christmas Eve, that is why I suggest you to put your thoughts and your hope in thanking God for what you lived in other years, for your family that is here and for the one that is no longer here, for the time you spent and enjoyed their company, and that you start the Christmas tradition from scratch.
May this time the celebration be more than gifts, may it be an attitude of love towards others. May your daily habits begin differently, perhaps with the reading of the Bible in which you will surely find peace and joy in discovering the true meaning of this holiday.
