Cruz Pérez Cuéllar y Rubí Enríquez, se sinceran con Visionarias sobre su trabajo a favor de la familia
Diez años han pasado desde que Cruz Pérez Cuéllar y Rubí Enríquez decidieron emprender un camino juntos, mismo que los ha llevado a formar una sólida familia y a trabajar en solucionar los problemas y necesidades de una de las ciudades más complicadas del mundo.
Cada uno desde sus trincheras, se muestran para Visionarias como muy pocas veces lo han hecho, como pareja y cabezas de familia que van más allá de ser un ejemplo para los ciudadanos de “la frontera más bonita del mundo”.
En entrevista, los Pérez Enríquez nos hablan de su trabajo, la familia y como Dios es pieza fundamental de todo lo que hacen en sus vidas.
La importancia de la familia
La pareja concuerda que la familia es su fortaleza y el motor principal de sus acciones. Para el alcalde de Ciudad Juárez, es un refugio, el cual le ayuda a “enfrentar mil problemas… llegas a tu casa y ahí te refugias, te concentras, te llenas de energía, obviamente el amor, es fundamental para estar claro”.
Por su parte, Rubí Enríquez, presidenta del DIF Municipal, afirma que “la familia es quién eres, si no tienes una familia sólida en tu casa difícilmente sales a las calles a avanzar, a hacer grandes cosas”.
Y precisamente, teniendo dicho motor, ambos salen cada día a trabajar en favor de la comunidad juarense.
Para la señora Rubí es un reto nuevo que la tiene concentrada y muy pendiente.
“Es algo muy padre, muy bonito, yo nunca había trabajado en la administración y ahora estar aquí apoyándolo y él a mí; tener las mismas pláticas, compartir las mismas cosas es algo maravilloso”, comenta ella.
Por su parte el presidente se dice contento y gratamente sorprendido “porque Rubí, a diferencia de un servidor que siempre ha estado en la vida pública, ella nunca había estado, nunca es nunca. Siempre me ayudó y todo, pero no es lo mismo ya una responsabilidad como la del DIF”.
“Está entregada completamente, es una mujer muy sensible, uno se da cuenta que le llegan los problemas al corazón, hasta adentro, está entregada en hacer una buena obra. Es una muestra de amor muy grande”, afirma.
La Mujer, una reserva moral
El propio presidente aseguraba que en su gestión lo más importante es poder implementar una política transversal, es un hombre que valora mucho a la mujer.
“Si queremos hacer un cambio va a tener que ser a través de una política que trascienda a todo el Municipio y a todas las direcciones, y estamos en ese proceso”.
Pérez Cuéllar profundiza y asegura que “que la mujer es la reserva moral de la sociedad, un poco en detrimento de nosotros los hombres, lo digo, es cierto, estamos para servirles, estamos trabajando para dejarles una mejor ciudad, trabajamos en su seguridad”.
Agrega que “en el caso de las mujeres de la industria maquiladora, (trabajamos) en alumbrar todos los caminos que las llevan a su trabajo. El reto de nosotros es alumbrar su camino de aquí a que termine esta administración”.
Su inspiración
Para lograr todo lo que se han propuesto, tanto como pareja, como funcionarios municipales, Cruz y Rubí se inspiran en el amor por México y su familia, a la cual buscan dejarles una ciudad más limpia, más segura y ordenada, comenta el alcalde, quien presume su pasión por el país que lo vio nacer.
Se habla de religión
Otra de sus inspiraciones es Dios, de quien a pesar de sus puestos públicos no dudan en hablar, se describe como un hombre de fe.
“Lo he dicho siempre, en público y en privado, creo en Dios, en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, soy un hombre de fe”.
“Respeto a todos, siempre ha habido una mala visión del estado laico. El estado laico se nos quiere vender como que no puedes profesar o hablar de Dios en una oficina pública, y claro que se puede. El estado laico, lo que significa es el respeto a todos, y aquí en la Presidencia tenemos que atender a todos. Yo siempre he creído en Dios, tengo mucha fe en Dios, siempre me he encomendado a él, soy pecador como todos, pero creo en él”, afirma Pérez Cuéllar.
Por su parte Rubí nos comenta que “Dios es todo en la vida de las personas, si Dios no está al lado de nosotros, dentro de nosotros, somos como una masa sin nada”.
El recuento de una vida
“Han sido 10 años de compartir nuestra vida juntos, muy bonitos, donde han sido muchísimas las altas, las bajas ni siquiera se cuentan, nuestro amor, matrimonio y familia son muy bonitos y solidarios, hemos sabido embonar, tanto sus hijos como los míos”, comparte con Visionarias Rubí.
Ella asegura que se complementan con amor y paciencia, más cuando se trata de comprender el trabajo de su marido.
“Cruz tiene una carga de trabajo muy pesada, entonces los espacios que tenemos entre los dos, los hemos complementado de una manera muy buena. Tanto él como yo sabemos que las jornadas de trabajo son largas, pero en los espacios nos acomodamos muy bien los dos”, dice la mujer que al casarse con el político se convirtió en madre de 6, tres de él, dos de ella, y una pequeña en común, a quienes buscan inspirar a través del ejemplo.
Por el bien de la frontera
En voz de Rubí exhortan a ver por las familias, que lo son todo, sobre todo la base de una sociedad unida, fuerte y feliz, cuya integrante principal es la mujer, por la cual trabajan para verla empoderada, realizada, siendo el soporte de las niñas, niños y jóvenes de los juarenses.

Cruz Pérez Cuéllar and Rubí Enríquez, open up to Visionarias about their work on behalf of the family.
Ten years have passed since Cruz Perez Cuellar, and Rubi Enriquez decided to embark on a journey together, which has led them to form a strong family and work to solve the problems and needs of one of the most complicated cities in the world.
Each one from their trenches, they show themselves to Visionarias as they have rarely done, as a couple and heads of a family that goes beyond being an example for the citizens of “the most beautiful border in the world.”
In an interview, the Pérez Enríquez talk to us about their work, their family and how God is a fundamental part of everything they do in their lives.
The importance of family
The couple agrees that family is their strength and the main engine of their actions. For the mayor of Ciudad Juárez, it is a refuge that helps him “face a thousand problems… you get home and there you take refuge, you concentrate, you fill yourself with energy, obviously love, it is fundamental to be clear”.
For her part, Rubí Enríquez, president of the Municipal DIF, affirms that “the family is who you are if you don’t have a solid family at home, it is difficult to go out into the streets to move forward, to do great things.”
And precisely, having this engine, both go out every day to work in favor of the Juarense community.
It is a new challenge for Rubi that keeps her focused and very attentive.
“It is something very nice, very nice; I had never worked in the administration and now to be here supporting him and him supporting me; to have the same talks, to share the same things is something wonderful,” she comments.
For his part, the president says he is happy and pleasantly surprised “because Rubi, unlike a servant who has always been in public life, she had never been, never is. She always helped me and everything, but it is not the same as a responsibility like that of the DIF”.
“She is completely dedicated; she is a compassionate woman, you can see that her problems touch her heart, even inside, she is committed to doing a good deed. It is a very great sign of love”, she affirms.
Women, a moral reserve
The president assured that the most crucial thing in his administration is implementing a transversal policy; he is a man who values women very much.
“If we want to make a change, it is going to have to be through a policy that transcends the entire Municipality and all directions, and we are in that process.”
Perez Cuellar goes deeper and assures that “women are the moral reserve of society, a little to the detriment of us men, I say it, it is true, we are to serve them, we are working to leave them a better city, we are working on their safety.”
He adds that “in the case of the women in the maquiladora industry, (we work) to light all the roads that lead them to their work. Our challenge is to light their way between now and the end of this administration.
Their inspiration
To achieve everything they have set out to do, both as a couple and as municipal officials, Cruz and Rubí are inspired by their love for Mexico and their family, to whom they seek to leave a cleaner, safer and more orderly city says the mayor. He boasts of his passion for the country where he was born.
He talks about religion
Another of his inspirations is God, of whom, despite his public posts, he does not hesitate to speak; he describes himself as a man of faith.
“I have always said it, in public and in private, I believe in God, in our Lord Jesus Christ, I am a man of faith.”
“I respect everyone; there has always been a bad vision of the secular state. The secular state is sold to us as meaning that you cannot profess or talk about God in a public office, and of course, you can. The secular state means respect for everyone, and here in the Presidency, we have to attend to everyone. I have always believed in God, I have a lot of faith in God, I have always entrusted myself to him, I am a sinner like everyone else, but I believe in him”, affirms Perez Cuellar.
For his part, Rubí comments that “God is everything in people’s lives, if God is not beside us, inside us, we are like a mass with nothing.”
The recount of a life
“It has been ten years of sharing our life, wonderful, where there have been many highs, the lows are not even counted, our love, marriage and family are very nice and supportive, we have been able to match, both his children and mine,” shares with Visionarias Rubi.
She assures that they complement each other with love and patience, more so when understanding her husband’s work.
“Cruz has a hefty workload, so the spaces we have between the two of us, we have excellently complimented them. Both he and I know that the workdays are long, but we both fit in very well,” says the woman who, after marrying the politician, became the mother of six children, three of them his, two hers, and a little girl together, whom they seek to inspire by example.
For the good of the border
In Rubi’s voice, they urge to see for the families, which are everything, especially the basis of a united, solid and happy society, whose leading member is the woman, for whom they work to see her empowered, fulfilled, being the support of the girls, boys and young people of Juarenses.

Ni la distancia impidió que esta pareja comenzara su relación hace más de 15 años, cuando ambos trabajaban para una compañía, pero en diferentes ciudades, él en Chihuahua y ella en Ciudad Juárez.
En esta ocasión, Visionarias comparte la relación de Claudia y René Gómez, dos personas que se encontraron sin buscarlo y que hasta la fecha han sabido llevar un matrimonio basado en la confianza, el compañerismo, pero sobre todo en el amor.
Es Claudia quien nos cuenta su historia y algunos de los retos que como matrimonio han enfrentado, siendo el más significativo el apoyar y confiar en su esposo, cuando él creó su propia empresa transportista con el nombre CR Trucking, que René dirige y los ha posicionado a nivel nacional.
“Fue algo nuevo, salieron muchas cosas nuevas que no teníamos contempladas y realmente ahí fue cuando vimos la mano de Dios de manera palpable para que saliera adelante la empresa”, nos plática ella, quien ejerce su profesión dando terapia psicológica a parejas y terapia individual.
Diferentes puntos de vista
Pero más allá de perturbar la tranquilidad de su matrimonio, el tener puntos de vista diferentes los ha ayudado a consolidar su relación, pues, aunque no piensen igual, deben tomar decisiones en pro del bienestar no sólo de la empresa, sino también de la familia.
Claudia nos comenta que a la hora de los desacuerdos tienen como convicción la oración, aunado a esto una plática constructiva en donde expresan sus diferentes puntos de vista, de ahí, toman acuerdos. Siendo como principal el amor, “el amor es lo principal que nos une a él y a mí, tenemos la respuesta clara para resolver cualquier situación recordando el propósito del porqué unimos nuestras vidas”.
“Lo más importante para el matrimonio es aprender a comunicarnos y hacer acuerdos”, reafirma.
Uno de sus principales propósitos es la enseñanza a sus hijos y a su nieta de hacer las cosas para la honra de Dios.
Ervey, Andrés, Aryeh y Karen, sus hijos, Norali su nieta, son a quienes principalmente desean transmitir sus convicciones y conocimiento para vivir plenamente.
Ahora, después de 15 años de matrimonio, un negocio exitoso y una familia con retos, desafíos y satisfacciones, ambos están de acuerdo en que el ejemplo es la mejor manera de contagiar y enseñar a otros.
Por último, Claudia nos asegura que no cambiaría nada de su matrimonio, pues “cada día es una experiencia y cada día es un reto, es acordarnos de que el amor es lo más importante; si nos enfocamos en el rol que cada uno tiene seguimos adelante y toda respuesta que tengamos para cualquier cosa que consultemos va a ser la respuesta más sabía”.
Agrega que “para el matrimonio se requieren tres para que pueda estar completo, dos son la pareja y la otra es Dios… que la unión siempre sea con Dios y van a tener un matrimonio maravilloso”.
Claudia and Rene
The Gomez family has been able to overcome the challenges of marriage thanks to the love that unites them and their trust in the Word of God. Even their slogan is ‘I can do all things through Christ.’
Not even distance prevented this couple from starting their relationship more than 15 years ago, when they both worked for a company, but in different cities, he in Chihuahua and she in Ciudad Juarez.
On this occasion, Visionarias shares the relationship between Claudia and Rene Gomez, two people who met without looking for it and who to date have managed to maintain a marriage based on trust, companionship, but above all on love.
It is Claudia who tells us her story and some of the challenges they have faced as a couple, the most significant being supporting and trusting her husband, when he created his own transportation company called CR Trucking, which René directs and has positioned them nationally.
“It was something new, many new things came up that we hadn’t considered and that was when we really saw the hand of God in a palpable way for the company to move forward,” she tells us, who practices her profession providing psychological therapy to couples and individual therapy.
Different points of view
But beyond disturbing the tranquility of their marriage, having different points of view has helped them to consolidate their relationship, because, even if they do not think the same, they must make decisions for the well-being not only of the company, but also of the family.
Claudia tells us that when it comes to disagreements, they have prayer as their conviction, coupled with a constructive conversation where they express their different points of view, from there, they make agreements. Love being the main thing, “love is the main thing that unites him and me, we have the clear answer to resolve any situation remembering the purpose of why we joined our lives.”
“The most important thing for marriage is to learn to communicate and make agreements,” she reaffirms.
One of her main purposes is to teach her children and her granddaughter to do things for the honor of God.
Ervey, Andres, Aryeh and Karen, her children, Norali her granddaughter, are those to whom she mainly wants to transmit her convictions and knowledge to live fully. Now, after 15 years of marriage, a successful business and a family with challenges and satisfactions, both agree that example is the best way to spread and teach others.
Finally, Claudia assures us that she would not change anything about her marriage, because “every day is an experience and every day is a challenge, it is remembering that love is the most important thing; if we focus on the role that each one has, we move forward and every answer we have for anything we ask will be the wisest answer.”
She adds that “for marriage to be complete, three are required, two are the couple and the other is God… may the union always be with God and you will have a wonderful marriage.”
Experta interiorista dedicada a diseñar espacios ‘armoniosos’
Una mujer con una visión en todos los aspectos, con planes muy claros y empresaria, es como Mónica Rocha describe a una visionaria, una descripción que va completamente con ella, una mujer de éxito que está decidida a diseñar cada espacio en los hogares y las oficinas de la frontera.
Con una trayectoria en el interiorismo de 20 años, Mónica lleva 11 siendo el alma detrás de Mödul Studio, una franquicia con 35 tiendas a nivel nacional, de las cuales ella tiene a su cargo dos, una en Ciudad Juárez y la otra en Chihuahua, la primera es la número uno en crecimiento y ventas.
Enfocados cien por ciento al equipamiento modular, Mödul es una fábrica donde se diseñan muebles y planos con un software de procedencia española que se adapta a espacios y presupuestos establecidos por los clientes.
Lo anterior los ha convertido en los favoritos de quienes tienen un proyecto de diseño o remodelación tanto del hogar como de una oficina.
Sin embargo, nuestra entrevistada nos cuenta que no ha sido del todo fácil, pues han tenido que romper con las normas establecidas del interiorismo, sobre todo por ser frontera donde el estilo está mercado por una ola americanizada.
Pero a la hora de realizar el trabajo nada está dicho y Mónica, junto a su esposo Miguel Sarmiento, crean todo tipo de muebles modulares, desde cocinas, closets, cómodas y todo aquello que al final del proceso permita al cliente convivir en un ambiente “muy armonioso”.
Sin embargo, a esta mujer, nacida en San Juan del Río, pueblo mágico de Durango, lo que más le gusta trabajar son las cocinas, pues dice que es el área donde se concentran las emociones ya que es ahí a donde todos llegan, aunque asegura que le apasiona cada espacio que crea.
Su otra pasión
Pero no todo es trabajo para Mónica Rocha, hay otra cosa que también le gusta ayudar a diseñar, y eso es la vida de mujeres en situaciones complicadas y que ven en ella una guía para encontrar su camino y salir adelante.
“Me encanta ayudar a mujeres cuando están confundidas, me apasiona”, nos dice quien también se encomienda a Dios para poder cumplir con esta y cada una de las metas que se propone, pues como menciona, él significa todo “sin él no sería nada, todo se lo debo a él”.
Es precisamente a Dios a quien le entrega sus negocios, actividades y obviamente su familia, cuyo legado espera siga su hija Andrea, quien apenas empieza su camino profesional, mientras, esta mujer visionaria continúa trabajando para que Mödul Studio permanezca como el número uno de su gremio.
Mensaje a las lectoras

Monica Rocha
Expert interior designer dedicated to designing ‘harmonious’ spaces.
A woman with a vision in all aspects, with very clear plans and a businesswoman, is how Monica Rocha describes a visionary, a description that fits her perfectly, a successful woman who is determined to design every space in the homes and offices of the border.
With a 20-year career in interior design, Monica has been the soul behind Mödul Studio for 11 years, a franchise with 35 stores nationwide, of which she is in charge of two, one in Ciudad Juárez and the other in Chihuahua, the first being number one in growth and sales.
Focused one hundred percent on modular equipment, Mödul is a factory where furniture and plans are designed with software of Spanish origin that adapts to spaces and budgets established by clients.
This has made them the favorites of those who have a design or remodeling project for both their home and an office.
However, our interviewee tells us that it has not been easy at all, as they have had to break with the established rules of interior design, especially because it is a frontier where the style is being marketed by an Americanized wave.
But when it comes to carrying out the work, nothing is set in stone and Monica, together with her husband Miguel Sarmiento, create all kinds of modular furniture, from kitchens, closets, dressers and everything that at the end of the process allows the client to live in a “very harmonious” environment.
However, this woman, born in San Juan del Río, a magical town in Durango, likes to work in kitchens the most, because she says that it is the area where emotions are concentrated since that is where everyone arrives, although she assures that she is passionate about each space she creates.
Her other passion
But not everything is work for Monica Rocha, there is another thing that she also likes to help design, and that is the life of women in complicated situations who see in her a guide to find their way and move forward.
“I love helping women when they are confused, I am passionate about it,” says the woman who also entrusts herself to God in order to be able to fulfill this and each of the goals she sets for herself, because as she mentions, he means everything “without him I would be nothing, I owe everything to him.”
It is precisely to God that she gives her business, activities and obviously her family, whose legacy she hopes her daughter Andrea will follow, who is just beginning her professional path, while this visionary woman continues working so that Mödul Studio remains number one in her field.

Además de exitosa emprendedora, Yessica Sierra es una Mujer Visionaria cuya principal empresa es su familia
Abogada, máster en Dirección de Empresas, emprendedora, influencer y líder empresarial son profesiones que forman parte del currículum de Yessica Sierra, para quien el título más importante es el de mamá.
A sus 34 años de edad, Yessica no sólo ha sabido aprovechar las oportunidades que la vida le presenta, sino que además las genera, tanto para ella como para otras mujeres, a quienes sin duda inspira a materializar sus sueños.
Ella junto con un grupo de personas creó Aprendamos a Emprender, curso con el que apoya a otros a concretar ideas de negocios, de lo que ella sabe bien, pues nos cuenta que desde la universidad ella comenzó a invertir.
Su primer emprendimiento de éxito fue la Crepería, que durante 11 años endulzó el paladar de los fronterizos, sin embargo, ella quería avanzar, por lo que cerró y dio vida a Unboxing, una giftshop que por cinco años ha sido líder en su ramo, y la cual nació casi a la par que su historia en redes sociales.
Su influencia
En el área del posteo y el reel, nuestra entrevistada fue más conocida cuando comenzó a mostrar su lado maternal y la interacción que tiene con sus hijos (8, 5 y un año), así como parte de sus días, de los que dice nunca son iguales.
“Todas mis amigas me dicen ‘cómo le haces, cuántas horas duermes’”, y confiesa que “la clave es estar enfocado en una meta… estar constante, enfocado, utilizar tu tiempo de una manera proactiva, tener metas”.
También, dice no ver tele ni escuchar música; su día comienza con la preparación de los niños para ir a la escuela y luego a las 9:00 de la mañana se activa para cumplir con el resto de sus trabajos, mismo que divide para poder dar su cien por ciento en cada uno de ellos, teniendo como prioridad su empresa más importante, la familia.
“Al final del día lo principal es mi familia, mis hijos… Mamá feliz, hijos felices”, dice.
Sus planes
Y aunque parece que Yessica ya tiene suficiente con todo lo que hace en el día, la también primera presidenta mujer de la sección de jóvenes de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio (Canaco), nos dice que busca realizar otra maestría o doctorado, pues le gusta estar en constante crecimiento.
“No sé qué quiero hacer el siguiente año, pero sí sé que quiero ser más de lo que soy ahorita”.
Un par de retos pendientes
Pero en la vida de Sierra no todo se ha cumplido, pues aún le falta hacer un ironman, para el que se prepara, aunque acepta que tiene que perfeccionar su nado, pues espera poder llevarlo a cabo el próximo año, cuando cumpla 35, y sin olvidar que también tiene pendiente la apertura de Unboxing en El Paso.
Para este par de retos pendientes, trabaja ardua y constantemente pues, aunque tiene fe en Dios no le deja todo a él, sabe que tiene que hacer lo propio, ya que dice “Dios tiene muchas cosas en el mundo”.
Actualmente, además de mantener a flote sus negocios y concretar metas, Yessica trabaja en su legado y en la educación de sus hijos a quienes muestra lo que es una mujer emprendedora, capaz y exitosa a la hora de convertir sus sueños en realidad, tal y como lo hace una Mujer Visionaria.
“Lo visionario no está relacionado al dinero, está relacionado a las experiencias, a cómo impactas en las personas… al final de cuentas lo material sale sobrando, lo más importante es la actitud que tienes en la vida, lo que vas a dejar a tus hijos”.
Ready to conquer the world
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Yessica Sierra is a Visionary Woman whose main business is her family.
Lawyer, master’s in business administration, entrepreneur, influencer and business leader are professions that are part of Yessica Sierra’s resume, for whom the most important title is that of mother.
At 34 years of age, Yessica has not only known how to take advantage of the opportunities that life presents to her, but she also generates them, both for herself and for other women, whom she undoubtedly inspires to materialize their dreams.
Together with a group of people, she created ‘Aprendemos a Emprender’, a course with which she supports others to realize business ideas, which she knows well, as she tells us that she began investing since university.
Her first successful venture was the ‘Crepería’, which for 11 years sweetened the palates of border residents. However, she wanted to move forward, so she closed the shop and gave life to Unboxing, a gift shop that for five years has been a leader in its field, and which was born almost at the same time as her story on social media.
Her influence
In the area of posting and reels, our interviewee became more well-known when she began to show her maternal side and the interaction she has with her children (8, 5 and one year old), as well as part of her days, which she says are never the same.
“All my friends ask me ‘how do you do it, how many hours do you sleep?’” and she confesses that “the key is to be focused on a goal… to be constant, focused, to use your time in a proactive way, to have goals.”
She also says she doesn’t watch TV or listen to music; her day begins with getting the children ready to go to school and then at 9:00 in the morning she gets active to do the rest of her jobs, which she divides up so that she can give one hundred percent to each one of them, having as a priority her most important business, the family.
“At the end of the day the most important thing is my family, my children… Happy mom, happy children,” she says.
Her plans
And although it seems that Yessica already has enough with everything she does in one day, the first female president of the youth section of the National Chamber of Commerce (Canaco) tells us that she is looking to complete another master’s degree or doctorate, because she likes to be constantly growing.
“I don’t know what I want to do next year, but I do know that I want to be more than what I am right now.”
A couple of pending challenges
But not everything has been fulfilled in Sierra’s life, as she still must do an Ironman, for which she is preparing, although she accepts that she must perfect her swimming, as she hopes to be able to do it next year, when she turns 35, and without forgetting that she also has the opening of Unboxing in El Paso pending.
For these two pending challenges, she works hard and constantly because, although she has faith in God, she does not leave everything to him, she knows that she must do her own thing, as she says, “God has many things in the world.”
