Conoce los valores que sólo se pueden alcanzar cuando Dios es nuestro guía

Un espejo nos puede dar una imagen a veces distorsionada, o a veces contraria a la realidad, por eso el título de este libro, “Virtudes a prueba de espejos: 70 valores de la mujer virtuosa”, en el que la autora mexicana Yani de Gutiérrez, nos invita a reconocer que los valores descritos en el poema de Proverbios 31 son tan actuales hoy, en el Siglo 21, como lo fueron cuando se escribieron por primera vez.
El poema al cual hacemos referencia habla sobre la mujer cristiana de nuestros tiempos que no quiere ser medida en comparación de una “mujer virtuosa”.
Sin embargo, la “mujer virtuosa” de Proverbios 31:10-31 es una mujer que se sale de los esquemas de comportamiento de la cultura de su época. Vemos que es una mujer admirablemente sabia en su forma de vivir y relacionarse, que ejerce una libertad y una independencia que le permiten desarrollarse y realizarse, que constituye una influencia muy poderosa en su entorno, que es reconocida y exaltada por su comunidad y, sobre todo, que manifiesta su amor prácticamente a través de todo lo que hace. Todo ello es algo fuera de lo común en su sociedad.
Ella nos lleva a reconocer que estos valores sólo se pueden alcanzar cuando Dios es nuestro guía.
Así que te invitamos a buscar este hermoso libro, “Virtudes a prueba de espejos: 70 valores de la mujer virtuosa”, leerlo y aceptar que Dios nos guía a disfrutar la vida como mujeres realizadas y felices.
Para muchas mujeres, leerlo ha sido como leer un artículo de una revista de ciencia ficción, piensan que no se puede ser virtuosa como esa mujer, que es sólo un ideal inalcanzable, pero si Dios eligió esa narración para que trascendiese a través de la historia, llegando a millones de mujeres de tantas épocas tan distintas, es porque es un mensaje muy valioso que contiene claves factibles para la realización de la mujer.

A mirror can sometimes give us a distorted image or sometimes contrary to reality, hence the title of this book, “Virtues mirror-proof: 70 values of the virtuous woman”, in which the Mexican author Yani de Gutiérrez, invites us to recognize that the values described in the poem of Proverbs 31 are as current today, in the 21st century, as they were when they were first written.
The poem we refer to speaks about the Christian woman of our times who does not want to be measured compared to a “virtuous woman.”
However, the “virtuous woman” of Proverbs 31:10-31 is a woman who breaks out of the behavioral patterns of the culture of her time. She is admirably wise in her way of living and relating, exercises freedom and independence to develop and fulfill herself, is a potent influence in her environment, is recognized and exalted by her community and, above all, manifests her love practically through everything she does. All this is something out of the ordinary in her society.
She leads us to recognize that these values can only be achieved when God is our guide.
So we invite you to find this beautiful book, “Mirrorproof Virtues: 70 Values of the Virtuous Woman”, read it and accept that God guides us to enjoy life as fulfilled and happy women.
For many women, reading it has been like reading an article from a science fiction magazine; they think that it is not possible to be virtuous like that woman, that it is only an unattainable ideal, but if God chose that narrative to transcend through history, reaching millions of women of so many different times, it is because it is a special message that contains feasible keys for the realization of women.
