Cuando estuve estudiando en Dallas, Texas, conocí una organización que toca temas de asuntos inmorales como el abuso sexual, abuso infantil, pornografía, aborto y el tráfico humano, siendo este último en el que ayudé más de cerca.
Para cualquiera de estos asuntos inmorales hacíamos presentaciones de obras de teatro, además de talleres para ayudar a prevenir el problema. Yo participé en una obra en la que me tocó interpretar a una chica que fue engañada y terminó siendo usada para el tráfico de blancas.
Interpretar este personaje impactó mi vida, tanto, que cada vez que lo hacía sentía su dolor y desesperación; eran sentimientos que yo nunca había sentido y mucho menos los he vivido. En las noches tenía pesadillas, por lo que terminaba en oración, pues de lo contrario sufría caídas emocionales, aunque en el fondo sabía que no era yo.
En el grupo teníamos días de oración y ayuno dedicados al tema en el que ayudábamos. Orábamos por las víctimas, sus familias, por los traficantes, los clientes, el gobierno y la iglesia, la cual necesita levantarse y tener conocimiento y empatía por este tipo de problemas.
Muchas mujeres, hombres, niños o niñas, son abusados y traficados, y un porcentaje muy bajo de ellos se llega a salvar de situaciones tan atroces como ser abusados más de 42 veces al día, por ello prefieren estar drogados para no sentir, otros más anhelan la muerte y su expectativa de vida es menos de un año.
Es triste que a veces no queremos pensar en ello porque se nos parece feo lo que viven, pero cuando lo hagas, no sólo cambies tu pensar, también alza la voz por ellos, pues necesitan nuestras oraciones para que puedan conocer de Dios y alcanzar la salvación. Él quiere que todos los conozcamos a esas almas que merecen saber quién es su salvador antes de morir.
También es bueno orar por los que hacen daño. Sé que es difícil orar por ellos, pero son los que más necesitan de Dios, pues todo su ser está en tinieblas.
Tal vez esto pueda llevarnos a cuestionar a Dios sobre cómo es que permite que jóvenes, niños y adultos sean víctimas de estas situaciones, pero créeme que lo que menos quiere el Señor es que pasemos por algo así, él lo aborrece.
Dios se ocupa de su espíritu y alma, dándoles fortaleza por ser víctimas indefensas y débiles. Es su luz en medio de esa oscuridad, brindándoles esperanza en sus corazones, justicia por medio de nuestras oraciones.
Cuando nos activamos en oración abogando por ellos, en su alma reciben paz y el toque del amor de Dios. Nosotros somos sus intercesores en oración, los que peleamos sus batallas.
No necesitas estar en una organización o ministerio para hacer algo, lo que necesitas es orar, la oración tiene mucho poder, créeme que al salvar un alma, le diste libertad. Con tu oración dices “ya basta”.
Ahora que has leído esto sé que no volverás a ser igual; no hablé con mucho detalle del tema pero te hablé al alma para que tú ores por el alma de otro.
Habla a favor de los que no pueden hablar por sí mismos; garantiza justicia para todos los abatidos. Sí, habla a favor de los pobres e indefensos, y asegúrate de que se les haga justicia” PROVERBIOS 31:8-9 NTV
Human traffic
When I was studying in Dallas, Texas, I met an organization that deals with immoral issues such as sexual abuse, child abuse, pornography, abortion and human trafficking, the latter being the one I helped most closely.
For any of these immoral matters, we held plays, as well as workshops to help prevent the problem. I participated in a play in which I had to play a girl who was deceived and ended up being used for human trafficking.
Playing this character impacted my life, so much so that every time I did I felt her pain and despair; They were feelings that I had never felt, much less have I experienced. At night I had nightmares, so I ended up in prayer, because otherwise I suffered emotional falls, although deep down I knew it wasn’t me.
In the group we had days of prayer and fasting dedicated to the topic in which we helped. We prayed for the victims, their families, for the traffickers, the clients, the government and the church, which needs to get up and have knowledge and empathy for these kinds of problems.
Many women, men, boys or girls are abused and trafficked, and a very low percentage of them can save themselves from such atrocious situations as being abused more than 42 times a day, which is why they prefer to be drugged so as not to feel, and others wish for death, so their life expectancy is less than a year.
It’s sad that sometimes we don’t want to think about it because what they live seems ugly to us, but the day you do, change your thinking and also raise your voice for them, because they need our prayers so that they can know God and reach the salvation. He wants us all to meet those souls who deserve to know who their savior is before they die.
It’s also good to pray for those who harm. I know it is difficult to pray for them, but they are the ones who need God the most, because their whole being is in darkness.
Maybe this can lead us to question God about how he allows young people, children and adults to be victims of these situations, but believe me, what the Lord wants the least for us is to go through something like that, he hates it.
God takes care of their spirit and soul, giving them strength for being helpless and weak victims. He’s their light in the midst of that darkness, giving them hope in their hearts, justice through their prayers.
When we activate ourselves in prayer advocating for them, in their soul they receive peace and the touch of God’s love. We are their prayer intercessors, who fight their battles.
You don’t need to be in an organization or ministry to do something, what you need is to pray; prayer has a lot of power, believe me that, by saving a soul, you gave it freedom. With your prayer you say “enough is enough”.
