Trabajo en equipo

Publicado

Teamwork

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Genesis 2:18

Marriage is a venture that was born in God’s heart, where two partners join together to take it forward. It’s a teamwork, which will use feelings, values, customs, principles, ways of life and upbringing.

The couple begins an enterprise that will last a lifetime. In marriage, the couple’s relationship is given as what it is, a single body in which there is a commitment.

So, true love is not based on a feeling, but on a commitment that implies a joint work.

The product of the company

The greatest enterprise that a man and a woman will undertake in their lifetime is not the one that will solve their financial problems, but the one that not even financial problems can ever destroy.

Teamwork is the formula for success in large companies and enterprises around the world, every day billions are paid in training for teams to work properly and generate the desired results. All the more reason why a marriage needs to be consolidated with good tools and one of them is teamwork.

Conflictos matrimoniales por terceras personas

Publicado

Marriage conflicts by third parties

A situation like this can add emotional stress, tension, and instability to the relationship and could even end it

Conflicts, in general, are inevitable since all couples are made up of two people who have lived in different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions; these disagreements, at the same time, are part of coupling, maturity, and mutual growth.

When third parties cause these conflicts, it is different.

Third parties in a relationship add a factor of emotional stress, tension, and instability, which in turn produce a downward spiral that ends the relationship.

By third parties, I mean any individual who enters an existing relationship; They can be family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or strangers.

Conflicts over a third person begin when the couple has broken the bond and added someone else to the relationship, who sometimes intervenes in decision-making, affecting the couple’s internal perception. This produces a triangulation that ultimately leads to conflicts.

We must establish healthy limits, effective communication channels, and clear expectations to prevent third parties from affecting the relationship between the couple.

Furthermore, we must always honor the relationship with our partner and create a safe environment full of peace, trust, and understanding. Respect and celebrate our differences in perceptions since we all have different lenses to see reality, which does not speak of being right or not but of learning and valuing diverse points of view, respecting them, to avoid looking out the window looking for other people who validate us and bring their ideas to our relationship.

Friends all the time

Married couples who achieve this connection enjoy each other’s company and seek each other’s well-being without expecting anything in return

I think we all like to have friends we can count on all the time, as it is commonly said, “in good times and bad,” unconditionally, and we look for the same in our partners.

Courtships generally begin because there is an attraction, whether physical or emotional, but with treatment, they can become great friends, and when consolidated, they join in marriage.

Some think that when you get married, that friendship ends, and it shouldn’t be that way. The best marriages are those that fall in love but also choose to remain friends because you can continue telling them anything, even your most profound thoughts, without fear of rejection.

Marriages where both manage to be excellent friends have so many things in common that they greatly enjoy each other’s company; they are always looking for the well-being of the other without expecting anything in return.

In true friendship, you can find trust, understanding, encouragement, support, solidarity, laughter, someone to share triumphs and failures with, and a shoulder to cry on. We also look for those who sincerely care, appeal, advise, conversation… and so we can continue with a long list.

Who do you consider? Do you know him much better?

That great friend is or could be our husband; he has to top the best friends list. In the Bible, in the book of Proverbs chapter 17, verse 17, it says, “A friend loves at all times and is like a brother in time of trouble.” if our husband is our best friend, we are sure that we can count on him in those times. There are difficult times in life, and I know he will not abandon me but be there by my side.

Often, couples need to realize the value of being friends between spouses. The Bible says in the Book of Songs chapter 5, verse 16, “Such is my beloved, such is my friend.” once the wife praises the husband for all his qualities, they enjoy being friends all the time.

Matrimonio en crisis

Publicado

3. No dar espacios personales

Marriage in crisis

Getting out of a difficult situation will not be possible if there is no willingness on both sides to work for it

Relationships are built based on agreements that include the parties that make it up and who should work every day to keep such union healthy, placing particular emphasis on the differences and emotional shortcomings of each one to prevent the marriage from entering into crisis.

Some of the reasons that can affect the marriage are:

  1. 1.- Lack of assertive communication

Sometimes, it is believed that communication is talking, and yes, it is part of it, but check what we discuss with the couple.

Assertive communication is based on expressing positive and negative emotions because they are not resolved if they are not told. Do not minimize what your partner feels; visualize things.

Respect what they think without wanting to force anything, talk about conflicts that arise without personalizing, and express ourselves clearly and appropriately; sometimes, we take for granted that we are transparent and believe that the partner guesses us. Take care of the tone of voice and body language.

2. Not fostering trust and respect

Trust is the belief, hope, and persistent faith that the other person will be able to act appropriately in any situation, whether the other partner is present or absent, while respect is not going against the spouse.

3. Not giving personal space

The fact that each one has space for healthy meetings with other people helps to oxygenate the relationship and build independent beings, although with strengthened bonds.

4. Not having control of the economy

Regardless of whether you both work or not, you should encourage transparency in the knowledge of the budget; it is advisable that both actively participate in it.

Learn to manage priorities, organize, never leave God out of your administration, and remember the law of life: sow and reap.

Do not hide expenses; do not manage on the sly because they lack a principle of trust.

5. Falling into routine

Routine is the worst enemy of marriage, so include couple time (never stop being engaged), time for recreation, adventure outside the daily rhythm, family, and work.

6. Stop surprising each other

Surprise is the intentional act of doing something that pleases the other person who does not expect it.

The details do not have to be big and expensive. Still, loving messages in some space, a snack brought from the store before arriving home, preparing the table without waiting for special dates (every day is unique), tokens of appreciation, compliments, and words of motivation, among others.

Getting out of the crisis will not be possible if there is no will on both sides to work for it.

If the crisis overcomes them, look for help from a specialist.
