Nacida en el seno de una familia cristiana, para Habigail Sánchez el ayudar a los demás y dar a conocer la palabra de Dios siempre han sido acciones cotidianas, por lo que hasta el día de hoy las desempeña e incluso ayuda a otros a también realizarlas.
Originaria de Monclova, Coahuila, Dora Habigail Sánchez Castillo cuenta que desde niña fue parte de las actividades de sus padres, quienes se dedicaban a servir a la iglesia y a comenzar nuevas obras en pequeños pueblos y rancherías.
“Yo nací en un hogar cristiano y mis papás siempre me inculcaron la Palabra de Dios, la Biblia, la iglesia… mis papás siempre estuvieron sirviendo”, cuenta la mujer visionaria del mes de diciembre.
Agrega que fue gracias al ejemplo que vio, casi desde que nació, que desde muy pequeña recibió el llamado del Señor.
“Todo eso fue parte del llamado que marcó mi vida, que Dios usó desde el vientre de mi mamá”, comenta.
Es gracias a su historia dentro de una familia al servicio de Cristo y a su matrimonio con un Ismael Rojo, que actualmente sigue cumpliendo con la misión que el Señor le encomendó, la de apoyar y capacitar a otros que, como ella, buscan llevar el Evangelio a las zonas más remotas del estado.
Nos comparte que actualmente y gracias a la asociación civil que estableció con su familia, Fomentando Cambios en la Vida, patrocina a dos misiones, la primera, la de la familia Hernández Limón, que está en la Sierra Tarahumara dando a conocer la palabra de Dios a todo aquel que quiera conocerla.
El otro caso es el de Cristian Peña, un estudiante de Antropología y Lingüística, quien, entre sus planes, está traducir la Biblia al rarámuri para que así más personas puedan entender la historia que Jesucristo tiene que contar.
Sin embargo, no todo su trabajo es el de capacitar misioneros que lleven el evangelio a lugares donde no se conoce, Habigail y su familia también establecieron un comedor infantil en esta frontera, en la colonia Misiones del Real.
Sobre este espacio, la madre de Ismeraí Habigail y Job Ismael nos cuenta que se estableció en 2010 bajo el nombre de Sembradores y que en él trabajan todos los sábados en beneficio de niños de escasos recursos o afectados por la violencia.
Cada sábado, Habigail, junto a un grupo de voluntarios, ofrece desayuno a los menores, además de clases de enseñanza bíblica y manualidades, así como una actividad física y en ocasiones hasta inglés.
Las instalaciones de Sembradores también han servido de preparatoria para personas adultas, agrega, quien dice que no hay nada más satisfactorio en su labor que ver a los primeros niños a los que apoyó convertidos en hombres de familia.
Y aunque pudiera parecer mucho, para la pastora aún vienen nuevos proyectos, entre ellos la construcción de un alberge, un plan que además de emocionada, la tiene enfocada.
“Lo más importante en estos tiempos es que nos enfoquemos en el verdadero mensaje que es Cristo Jesús en la vida de las personas y en las familias”, menciona.

Thanks to the civil association established with her family, Fomentando Cambios en la Vida, she sponsors two missions, the first one with the Hernández Limón family, who gives the word of God to anyone who wants to know it in the Sierra Tarahumara.
The other case is that of Cristian Peña, a student of Anthropology and Linguistics, who, among his plans, is translating the Bible into Rarámuri so that more people can understand the story that Jesus Christ has to tell.
However, not all her work is to train missionaries to take the Gospel to places where it is unknown; Habigail and her family also established a children’s dining room on this border, in the Misiones del Real neighborhood.
About this space, the mother of Ismeraí Habigail and Job Ismael tells us that it was established in 2010 under the name of Sembradores and that they work there every Saturday for the benefit of children with limited resources or affected by violence.
Every Saturday, Habigail, together with a group of volunteers, offers breakfast to the children, Bible and handicraft classes, physical activity, and sometimes even English.
The Sembradores facilities have also served as a preparatory school for adults, she adds, who says that there is nothing more satisfying in her work than seeing the first children she supported become family men.
And although it may seem like a lot for the pastor, there are still new projects to come, among them the construction of a shelter, a plan that excites her and keeps her focused.
“The most important thing in these times is that we focus on the true message of Jesus Christ in the lives of people and families,” she says.
