Se entiende que los derechos humanos son el conjunto de prerrogativas sustentadas en la dignidad humana, cuya realización debería ser una actividad social efectiva, indispensable para el desarrollo integral de la persona, sin embargo, a lo largo de los años se ha tergiversado esta realidad, no obstante que es un acuerdo internacional y, en nuestro país, se concibe como un conjunto de prerrogativas, establecido dentro de un orden jurídico nacional, ya que su práctica está integrada en la Constitución Política, tratados internacionales e infinidad de leyes locales.
Se cuestiona su operación porque hoy en día vivimos en una sociedad que poco a poco va perdiendo las buenas costumbres, los valores y hasta la dignidad.
Los gobiernos y sociedad han distorsionado lo que por natura fue hecho, queriendo llamar a lo malo bueno, o derechos del ser humano sin importar que se atente contra la vida misma.
Lo que surgió como una ley universal para atender a las minorías sociales, ahora es una promoción de antivalores que son conocidos también como valores inmorales, es decir, conductas dañinas y actitudes negativas que los seres humanosmanifiestan día tras día en la sociedad.
De acuerdo con la moral, la fe cristiana, la ética y la tradición cultural de los pueblos, los antivalores son prácticas poco sanas y peligrosas para la convivencia armónica entre las personas.
Un deseo insoslayable de esta nueva generación, de esta sociedad que evoluciona a pasos agigantados, es recobrar el sentido de los derechos humanos como un valor que, podemos afirmar, no procede de la cultura humana, sino de la raíz divina. Cualquier análisis semántico, histórico y sociocultural definiría inmediatamente a la Biblia como el mejor tratado de derechos humanos que puede existir en el mundo.
Let’s go back to human rights
It’s understood that human rights are the set of prerogatives based on human dignity, the realization of which should be an effective social activity, indispensable for the integral development of the person. However, over the years this reality has been distorted, despite the fact that it’s an international agreement and, in our country, it’s conceived as a set of prerogatives, established within a national legal order, since its practice is integrated in the Political Constitution, international treaties and an infinite number of local laws.
Its operation is questioned because today we live in a society that is gradually losing good customs, values and even dignity.
Governments and society have distorted what was done by nature, wanting to call bad things to good, or rights of the human being regardless of the attempt against life itself.
What emerged as a universal law to attend to social minorities is now a promotion of anti-values that are also known as immoral values, that is, harmful behaviors and negative attitudes that human beings manifest day after day in society.
According to morality, Christian faith, ethics, and people’s cultural traditions, anti-values are unhealthy and dangerous practices for the people’s harmonious coexistence.
An unavoidable desire of this new generation, of this society that is evolving by leaps and bounds, is to recover the meaning of human rights as a value that, we can affirm, does not come from human culture but from the divine root. Any semantic, historical and socio-cultural analysis would immediately define the Bible as the best human rights treaty that can exist in the world.
