Pongamos todo en las manos de Dios
¿En serio ya terminamos otro año?
¡Wow! Es increíble que cerremos el 2023.
No podemos quejarnos ¿verdad? Hasta este punto podemos decir que Dios nos ayudó, nos cuido y nos proveyó de todo lo que necesitamos, pero ahora empiezan las preguntas y las autoevaluaciones, ¿que logré en este año que termina? ¿realmente tuve algún crecimiento personal? ¿qué enseñanza me deja este 2023?
Pero, además empezamos a mirar hacia adelante y llega otra pregunta ¿qué quiero lograr en este nuevo año que estoy a punto de empezar?
Personalmente Navidad y Año Nuevo son mis fechas favoritas del año, se que estaré con mi familia, voy a viajar, a dar regalos y lo mejor, voy a cocinar y a comer como loca. En estas fechas no hay limitaciones ni dietas, pero al mismo tiempo, no lo puedo negar, empiezo a pensar en qué quiero lograr el año que recién comienza.
Resoluciones, propósitos de Año Nuevo, metas por alcanzar, objetivos que conquistar y como muchas mujeres pienso en hacer ejercicio, comer sano, ahorrar, etcétera, pero también creo que todo esto es superficial y me ha faltado mucha disciplina, soy sincera, cada año lo pienso, pero no lo hago.
Como mujer, madre, esposa, negociante y ministro de la palabra de Dios, he entendido y aceptado que yo puedo tener muchas resoluciones, aunque ahora he decidido hacer algo diferente, ahora quiero saber cual es el propósito de Dios en mi vida para este 2024.
No quiero hacer planes sin realmente darle al Señor el lugar que él se merece en mi vida y en mis nuevos comienzos, no quiero estresarme por lograr metas que parecen inalcanzables. Lo único que quiero, y tal vez sea mi única resolución, es agradar a Dios este 2024.
Hay una escritura bíblica que retumba en mi mente y corazón:
“Ahora oigan esto, ustedes, los que dicen: ‘Hoy o mañana iremos a tal o cual ciudad, y allí pasaremos un año haciendo negocios y ganando dinero’, ¡y ni siquiera saben lo que mañana será de su vida! Ustedes son como una neblina que aparece por un momento y en seguida desaparece. Lo que deben decir es: ‘Si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello’. En cambio, ustedes insisten en hablar orgullosamente; y todo orgullo de esa clase es malo”.
Santiago 4:13-16
¡Wow! No quiero que dejes de pensar con emoción en el Año Nuevo, ni mucho menos que mires con indiferencia lo que viene, al contrario. Hoy podemos pensar con mucha ilusión, ¿qué es lo que Dios tiene para mi este 2024? ¿cuál es su plan perfecto? ¿cómo me usará? ¿qué bendiciones tiene para mi ya preparadas?
No se tú, pero el poner la mirada en mi creador me da paz, fe y mucha esperanza. Porque si pongo la mirada en mí, creo que me voy a decepcionar una vez más.
Realmente deseo que este 2024 venga cargado de cosas buenas, pero me quiero enfocar en agradar a Dios con mis palabras, hechos, pensamientos e intenciones de mi corazón, confiando plenamente en que si prospera mi alma, todo lo demás irá prosperando también.
Si este año tienes una gran lista de resoluciones que la primera sea buscar del reino de Dios y su justicia como nunca lo haz hecho, para que puedas disfrutar de esas añadiduras.
Pongamos todo en las manos de Dios, demos pasos de fe, busquemos su presencia y que este año que empezamos sea mucho mejor del que estamos terminando.

Are we seriously done with another year?
Wow! Incredibly, we closed 2023.
We can’t complain, right? Up to this point, we can say that God helped us, took care of us, and provided us with everything we needed, but now the questions and self-evaluations begin: what did I achieve this past year? Did I have any personal growth? What lessons does 2023 leave me?
But, we also begin to look forward, and another question arises: what do I want to achieve in this new year that I am about to start?
Christmas and New Year are my favorite times of the year. I know that I will be with my family, I will travel, give gifts, and the best thing is that I will cook and eat like crazy. On these dates, there are no limitations or diets, but at the same time, I cannot deny it; I start to think about what I want to achieve in the year that has just begun.
Resolutions, New Year’s resolutions, goals to achieve, objectives to achieve, and like many women, I think about exercising, eating healthy, saving, etc., but I also believe that all this is superficial and I have lacked a lot of discipline, I am honest, every year I think about it, but I don’t do it.
As a woman, mother, wife, businessperson, and minister of the word of God, I have understood and accepted that I can have many resolutions. However, I have decided to do something different; now, I want to know God’s purpose in my life for 2024.
I want to make plans by giving the Lord the place he deserves in my life and my new beginnings; I want to achieve achievable goals. The only thing I want, and perhaps it is my superior resolution, is to please God in 2024.
There is a biblical scripture that echoes in my mind and heart:
“Now listen to this, you who say: ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, and there we will spend a year doing business and making money,’ and you don’t even know what will happen to your life tomorrow! You are like a mist that appears for a moment and then disappears. They must say: ‘If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.’ Instead, you insist on speaking proudly, and all pride of that kind is evil.”
James 4:13-16
Wow! I don’t want you to stop thinking with excitement about the New Year, much less look indifferently at what’s coming on the contrary. Today, we can believe with great enthusiasm what God has for me in 2024. What is your perfect plan? How will he use me? What blessings do you have ready for me?
I don’t know about you, but looking at my creator gives me peace, faith, and hope. Because if I look at myself, I will be disappointed again.
I hope 2024 comes loaded with good things, but I want to focus on pleasing God with my words, actions, thoughts, and intentions, fully trusting that if my soul prospers, everything else will thrive.
If you have a long list of resolutions this year, let the first be to seek the kingdom of God and his justice as you have never done before to enjoy those additions.
Let’s put everything in God’s hands, take steps of faith, and seek his presence. We begin to be much better this year than the one we are ending.
