La cantante María del Sol comparte con Visionarias el mensaje que Dios tiene para nosotras a través de su música y su voz
Luego de un año de contrastes, en el que experimentó la perdida de su madre y su hermana, así como el nacimiento de su nieto, la cantante María del Sol nos presenta “Nos volveremos a abrazar”, un sencillo con un mensaje de esperanza dedicado a todos aquellos que han sufrido durante la pandemia.
Los planes de Dios
María del Sol cuenta a Visionarias que fue su madre, la primera actriz Josefina Echánove, quien descubrió que podía cantar, algo que sin duda la sorprendió pese a venir de una familia de artistas.
“Yo no sabía que cantaba, pero cuando escuché la voz que salía por el micrófono ¡uf!”, fue entonces que, a los 14 años, aunque no le interesaba el mundo de la “artisteada”, comenzó a cantar en su natal Guanajuato.
Sin embargo, fue hasta que cumplió 17 años que decidió viajar a la Ciudad de México, donde después de tocar varias puertas, en 1979 fue nominada a la Voz del Heraldo y de ahí −dice− comenzaron a salir los discos, los festivales, las obras de teatro y el resto de su carrera, la cual hace más de dos décadas experimentó un cambio radical y que sin duda la hizo despertar.
“A partir de unos 25 años hubo un cambio en mi vida, radical, no tuve que pasar yo ninguna tragedia como la muerte un ser querido, alguna enfermedad, algún problema de dinero, fue la gracia de Dios que me sorprendió y empecé a conocerlo de una manera diferente”, cuenta, al mismo tiempo que agrega que, aunque ya creía en el Señor desde su infancia, fue en esta etapa que pudo entablar una amistad con él.
“El ser humano está siempre buscando la aceptación, la aprobación y el amor de la gente, entonces cuando uno puede saber que es amado y escogido por Dios a pesar de cómo somos y que no tenemos que pretender ser alguien agradable, alguien bueno, sino que nos ama a pesar de nosotros, creo que eso es algo que a mí me cautivo”, dice la también conferencista.
Con un mensaje accesible
Justo con el conocimiento de Dios y su cambio dentro de la música, María también comenzó a llevar el mensaje del Señor por todas partes, siempre predicando de manera accesible para todo aquel que quiera y reconozca la necesidad de Cristo en su vida y en su corazón.
Menciona que el mensaje debe ser directo pues mucha gente está cansada de que se le hable o comparta de la Biblia, de Dios o de la Salvación cuando las palabras vienen de vidas que aún no son transformadas, por lo que ella siempre habla desde su experiencia.
Justo en este mensaje, del cual es la vocera, cuenta sobre la importancia de la mujer para Dios.
“Como mujeres creo que somos valiosas, tenemos la capacidad de poder inspirarnos las unas a las otras, de animarnos, de levantarnos, de solidarizarnos”, y nos invita a buscar a Dios y su justicia, pues luego de eso todo lo demás vendrá por añadidura, asegura.
Sus planes son perfectos
Tal vez esa búsqueda y el sentirse amada por Jesucristo fue lo que le dio la fuerza para salir adelante luego de la muerte de dos de las mujeres que más han marcado su vida, su madre Josefina y su hermana Peggy, lo cual luego de reflexionar supo que era la oportunidad para seguir conociendo a Dios.
“Él hace las cosas de una forma que no lo estructuraría yo así, pero al final de cuentas sus planes, como dice su palabra, son buenos, son agradables y son perfectos”.
Y dentro de los planes que Jesús tenía para ella fue volver a lo que más ama, la música, por lo que el pasado mes de marzo lanzó “Nos volveremos a abrazar”, una canción de Edna Gil que ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
“Es una canción muy actual que habla de la fragilidad del ser humano”, la cual vino a intensificarse con la pandemia.
María del Sol nos cuenta que esta canción tiene una letra que sale de un lugar común, “donde caben muchísimas personas, donde caben papás, mamás, hijos, amigos, compañeros de trabajo, y donde al final nos volveremos a abrazar, porque tengo esa esperanza, la cual sólo da Cristo… es una esperanza alentadora”.
A la par, la cantante también se encuentra en su etapa final dentro del concepto de Grandiosas, donde comparte escenario con un grupo de artistas de los años 80 que ha tenido gran éxito en toda la República mexicana, un proyecto del que se está despidiendo “porque Dios me está cambiando los planes personales”, asegura quien también se convirtió en abuela hace 10 meses, sumando este acontecimiento a la serie de emociones que ha venido experimentando.
Por último, María del Sol nos invita a escuchar su nueva música, así como la palabra de Dios, de quien ella aún trata de comprender el propósito que tiene para su vida, pues si de algo está segura es que los cambios que él tiene para ella todavía no han terminado.

Singer Maria del Sol shares with Visionarias the message God has for us through her music and voice.
After a year of contrasts, in which she experienced the loss of her mother and sister, as well as the birth of her grandson, singer Maria del Sol presents “Nos volveremos a abrazar,” a single with a message of hope dedicated to all those who have suffered during the pandemic.
God’s plans
María del Sol tells Visionarias that her mother, the first actress Josefina Echánove, discovered that she could sing, which undoubtedly surprised her despite coming from a family of artists.
“I didn’t know that I sang, but when I heard the voice coming out of the microphone, phew!” it was then that, at the age of 14, although she was not interested in the world of “artisteada,” she began to sing in her native Guanajuato.
However, it was until she turned 17 that she decided to travel to Mexico City, where after knocking on several doors, in 1979, she was nominated for the Voz del Heraldo and from there -she says- the records, festivals, plays and the rest of her career began, which more than two decades ago experienced a radical change, and that undoubtedly made her wake up.
“From about 25 years, there was a change in my life, radical; I did not have to go through any tragedy like the death of a loved one, any illness, any money problem, it was the grace of God that surprised me, and I began to know Him differently,” she says, while adding that, although she already believed in the Lord since childhood, it was at this stage that she was able to establish a friendship with Him.
“The human being is always looking for acceptance, approval and love from people, so when one can know that he is loved and chosen by God despite how we are and that we do not have to pretend to be someone nice, someone, good, but that he loves us despite us, I think that is something that captivated me,” says the speaker.
With an accessible message
Just with the knowledge of God and her change within the music, Maria also began to take the Lord’s message everywhere, always preaching in an accessible way to anyone who recognizes the need for Christ in their lives and hearts.
She mentions that the message must be direct because many people are tired of being told or shared about the Bible, God or Salvation when the words come from lives that are not yet transformed, so she always speaks from her experience.
Just in this message, for which she is the spokesperson, she tells about the importance of women for God.
“As women, I believe we are valuable; we can inspire each other, encourage each other, lift each other, stand in solidarity,” and she invites us to seek God and His justice because, after that, everything else will follow, she assures.
His plans are perfect
Perhaps that search and feeling loved by Jesus Christ gave her the strength to move forward after the death of two of the women who have most marked her life, her mother Josefina and her sister Peggy, which, after reflecting, she knew was the opportunity to continue knowing God.
“He does things in a way that I wouldn’t structure it that way, but at the end of the day, his plans, as his word says, are good, they are pleasing, and they are perfect.”
And within the plans that Jesus had for her was to return to what she loves most, music, so last March, she released “Nos volveremos a abrazar,” a song by Edna Gil that is already available on all digital platforms.
“It is a very current song that speaks of the fragility of human beings,” which came to intensify with the pandemic.
Maria del Sol tells us that this song has lyrics that come out of a commonplace, “where many people fit, where dads, moms, children, friends, co-workers fit, and where in the end we will embrace each other again because I have that hope, which only Christ gives… it is an encouraging hope”.
At the same time, the singer is also in her final stage within the concept of Grandiosas, where she shares the stage with a group of artists from the ’80s that has had great success throughout the Mexican Republic, a project from which she is saying goodbye “because God is changing my plans,” assures who also became a grandmother ten months ago, adding this event to the series of emotions she has been experiencing.
