En entrevista, Laura, Saraí, Wendy e Iván describen a su madre, a quien describen como un ejemplo en sus vidas

Hoy en día, ser madre es difícil, y aún más hacerlo sin tu compañero de vida, cómo fue el caso de la señora Susana Carbajal Orozco de Reveles, quien enviudó, y aunque fue muy dolorosa su pérdida, salió adelante gracias al amor que le tiene a sus cuatro hijos y a sus nietos.
El mayor reto que enfrentó Susana en su vida ha sido salir adelante después de que su esposo falleciera, hace tres años, pues estuvo en una fuerte depresión.
Recordó que, desde hace 15 años, toda su familia participaba en la iglesia cristiana Linaje Bendito, donde su hijo pastorea y ella y su esposo fueron coordinadores de un grupo.
La señora Carbajal destacó que su esposo en vida, era muy alegre, servicial y un hombre muy querido por la congregación.
Para ella fue muy difícil superar el duelo después de su partida, pero logró salir de su depresión con el apoyo de Dios y sus hijos Laura, Saraí, Wendy e Iván, de quienes resalté “son mis muritos que me sostienen”.
¿Cuál ha sido el mayor reto que ha enfrentado como madre?
Susana Carbajal (SC): Enseñarles buen comportamiento, es difícil en este tiempo mantener a los hijos en el buen camino, así como, lograr mantener unida la familia, pero se puede con mucho cariño y amor.
Actualmente, Susana, ayuda a otras mujeres de la comunidad a superar su duelo, hace oración por ellas, algunas han perdido a su pareja, otras a sus hijos o hermanos, “si duele claro que duele, somos humanos”, pero les recuerda que la vida es hermosa, “la vida sigue, las cosas no se detienen”.
Destacó que, mucha gente se queda estancada en el dolor, y que actualmente hay muchos casos de depresión, por lo cual, recomienda acercarse a Dios, pues en él, ella encontró la fuerza para seguir adelante.
Ante la pregunta ¿cómo describirías a tu mamá?, los hijos de Susana, respondieron de la siguiente manera.
Iván Reveles: Es una mujer persistente en su espíritu y siempre dispuesta a servir. Su nivel de compromiso a Dios es de un estándar alto, siempre está en oración con Dios. Su fe es una característica muy particular, durante mi vida siempre ha tenido una palabra de impulso y apoyo.
Wendy Reveles: Es una mujer de oración, fuerte, valiente y guerrera, no se da por vencida. Siempre está dispuesta a mostrar amor y dar una palabra de aliento. Gracias por ser un ejemplo de una verdadera hija de Dios.
Laura Reveles: Es una extraordinaria mujer y madre. Llena de sabiduría, es un ejemplo a seguir. Su amor, su apoyo, sobre todo sus oraciones son una bendición en nuestras vidas.
Saraí Reveles: Es una excelente madre, abuela y mujer de Dios. Siempre dispuesta para amar y servir a otros, eres una bendición. Gracias por siempre ser un ejemplo para nuestras vidas, por tu amor y apoyo.
¿Que les dirías a tus hijos?
SC: que son mi orgullo, mi bendición, son mi motorcito, y mis nietos también.
Finalmente, Susana Carbajal dijo que en este Día de las Madres que la pasen con su familia, y que traten de dar amor, porque es lo único que no se termina, el amor todo lo puede, todo lo soporta, todo lo perdona, y das tu vida por tus hijos, concluyó.

Nowadays, being a mother is complex, even more so doing it without your life partner, as was the case of Mrs. Susana Carbajal Orozco de Reveles, who was widowed. Although her loss was harrowing, she got through it thanks to her love for her four children and grandchildren.
The biggest challenge Susana has faced in her life has been to get ahead after her husband passed away three years ago, as she was in a deep depression.
She recalled that for the past 15 years, her entire family has participated in the Linaje Bendito Christian church, where her son pastors and she and her husband were group coordinators.
Mrs. Carbajal pointed out that her husband, when he was alive, was very cheerful, helpful and a man very much loved by the congregation.
It was tough for her to overcome the grief after his departure, but she overcame her depression with the support of God and her children Laura, Saraí, Wendy and Iván, of whom I emphasized: “They are the little walls that support me.”
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced as a mother?
Susana Carbajal (SC): Teaching them good behavior, it is difficult at this time to keep children on the right path, as well as to keep the family together, but you can do it with a lot of love and affection.
Currently, Susana helps other women in the community to overcome their grief; she prays for them; some have lost their partner, others their children or siblings, “of course it hurts, we are human,” but she reminds them that life is beautiful, “life goes on, things do not stop.”
She emphasized that many people get stuck in pain and that currently, there are many cases of depression, for which she recommends approaching God because, in him, she found the strength to move forward.
When asked how would you describe your mother, Susana’s children responded as follows.
Iván Reveles: She is a persistent woman in her spirit and always ready to serve. Her commitment to God is of a high standard; she is always in prayer with God. Her faith is a very particular characteristic; during my life, she has always had a word of encouragement and support.
Wendy Reveles: She is a woman of prayer, strong, brave and a warrior; she does not give up. She is always willing to show love and give a word of encouragement. Thank you for being an example of a true daughter of God.
Laura Reveles: She is an extraordinary woman and mother. Full of wisdom, she is an example to follow. Her love, her support, and above all, her prayers are a blessing in our lives.
Saraí Reveles: She is an excellent mother, grandmother and woman of God. Always ready to love and serve others; you are a blessing. Thank you for always being an example for our lives and for your love and support.
What would you tell your children?
SC: That they are my pride, my blessing, they are my motor, and my grandchildren too.
Finally, Susana Carbajal said that on this Mother’s Day, they should spend it with their family and try to give love because it is the only thing that never ends; love can do everything, it bears everything, it forgives everything, and you give your life for your children, she concluded.
