En el libro “Maternidad Espiritual”, la autora –Susan Hunt– nos habla del modelo de enseñanza qué hay en Tito 2 de la Biblia, que dice:
“Recomienda a las ancianas que se comporten como personas que aman a Dios. No deben ser chismosas ni emborracharse, sino más bien ser un buen ejemplo para las mujeres más jóvenes, y enseñarles a amar a sus esposos e hijos. También deben enseñarles a pensar bien lo que van a hacer, y a ser dueñas de sí mismas, a atender bien a su familia y sujetarse a su esposo. Así nadie podrá hablar mal del mensaje de Dios”

Desde su gran trayectoria discipulando mujeres, Hunt nos dice que es de suma importancia modelar la maternidad espiritual en nuestro hogar y fuera de él, para que así la próxima generación aprenda que ser una madre es una bendición y un mandato de Dios.
A través de este libro aprenderemos que en medio de nuestro caminar diario debemos cumplir con el llamado divino, que es un privilegio que el Señor nos ha dado como mujeres.
