Junto a su esposo fundó la iglesia cristiana ‘El Buen Samaritano’, la cual lleva 33 años cumpliendo una misión en Juárez
La pastora Mary Órnelas de Morales, es originaria de Guerrero, Chihuahua, aunque se mudo a El Paso, Texas, en 1984 junto con su esposo José A. Morales Leyva, con quien tiempo después finalmente decidió establecerse en Ciudad Juárez y fundar la iglesia cristiana “El Buen Samaritano”, que tiene más de 38 años sirviendo a Dios.
Además de su misión, Mary y su marido tuvieron cuatro hijos, Jessica, Eli, Stacy y Jacob, así como dos nietos Athalia de 8 años y Sebastian de 6 años.
¿Cómo se define la pastora Mary?
La pastora “Mary Morales”, como es conocida en su congregación, se autodefine como una mujer favorecida de Dios, fuerte, de fe y oración; esforzada, valiente y generosa. Mencionó que se esfuerza por ser una buena pastora, una consejera y una compañera para su esposo, “agradezco que Dios haya puesto su mirada en mí”, asegura a Visionarias.
Cómo se transformaron al cristianismo
Luego de que su marido pasará por problemas de salud y tras conflictos en su relación matrimonial, Mary conoció realmente a Dios Padre.
Recordó que su esposo le pidió ir a una nueva iglesia, estaban sorprendidos porque nunca habían entrado a un templo cristiano, ahí conocieron al pastor Mario Sergio González, y a partir de ese momento, cambiaron sus vidas, pues la salud de su esposo comenzó a mejorar.
Explicó que, su problema no era físico, sino espiritual, pues creen que se trataba de brujería, ya que los médicos nunca pudieron encontrar la causa de su enfermedad.
Refirió que, ya acudían a una congregación evangélica en El Paso, Texas –desde 1984–, sin embargo, el pastor González les pidió irse a Ciudad Juárez, a la colonia Santa María, en donde además de violencia,encontraron mucha pobreza, esto, hace más de 30 años. Cuando llegaron a Juárez ya tenía a sus niños Jessica y Eli, en ese tiempo se encontraba embarazada de Stacy con 6 meses.
“Cuando no tenemos a Dios en nuestro corazón, andamos sin rumbo y dirección”, comenta, y agrega que pese a las adversidades tenían fe de que había una solución para sus problemas.
Retos al iniciar su misión
El primer día que llegaron al lugar que sería su iglesia, recuerda Mary que fue con temor, pues era una de las colonias más conflictivas de la ciudad, sin embargo, confiaban en el plan de Dios para su familia.
En ese entonces hubo mucha resistencia de los vecinos, porque en esa zona había mucha gente que practicaba brujería y refirió que, a pesar de que ella provenía de una familia grande, integrada por sus padres y 10 hijos, nunca había visto tanta pobreza y miseria.
Aunque la joven pareja no tenía familia, ni amistades que los apoyarán en la frontera, Mary recuerda con orgullo que su compañero de vida, tenía el don de la oración y la fe, lo cual le dio la fortaleza para seguir adelante, así como el Padre que los ha sostenido durante todos estos años.
La iglesia “El Buen Samaritano” se fundó en 1990, y hoy en día es de 150 a 200 personas, entre ellos 25 líderes que los apoyan con su labor. También son parte sus hijos participan, Jessica –la mayor– estuvo ofreciendo clases a los niños y su hija Stacy está casada con El ingeniero Juan Alberto Porras, son líderes De la Alabanza. En tanto que sus hijos varones apoyan económicamente a la congregación.
‘Amen a Dios y a ellas mismas’
La pastora aconsejo a las mujeres juarenses, a que primero que nada amen a Dios y a ellas mismas, que sean obedientes, respetuosas; que amen y eduquen a sus hijos en el camino del Señor. “Que sean como Débora, en Jueces 5:7, que se levanten y pongan en orden su casa, su hogar, su familia, sus hijos y su iglesia”, que sean como María, “que siempre digan he aquí la sierva del señor, haz conmigo conforme a tu palabra”, y en Lucas 1:38, que sean como Ana, y no dejen de pedir hasta que él conteste sus oraciones.
“Mi iglesia es mi familia, para mi son mis hermanos y hermanas”, nos comenta, y agrega que su texto bíblico favorito es el Salmo 125:1, “los que confían en Jehová, son como el monte de Sion, que no se mueve, sino que permanece para siempre, aun en las circunstancias más adversas”, pues aunque dijo no fue fácil sacar adelante a su familia y a su iglesia, Dios siempre ha estado con ellos a través de las circunstancias, las cuales los reafirman y los hace más fuertes.
“Eclesiastés 12:13, el fin de todo discurso, oído es este, temen a Dios y guarda sus mandamientos”, “ahí está la clave”, guardar sus mandamientos y hacer su voluntad, concluyó la pastora.

Pastor Mary Órnelas de Morales is originally from Guerrero, Chihuahua. However, she moved to El Paso, Texas, in 1984 along with her husband José A. Morales Leyva, with whom she finally decided to settle in Ciudad Juárez and found the Christian church “El Buen Samaritano,” which has been serving God for more than 38 years.

How does Pastor Mary define herself?
Pastor “Mary Morales,” as she is known in her congregation, defines herself as a woman favored by God, strong, of faith and prayer, hardworking, courageous, and generous. She mentioned that she strives to be a good pastor, a counselor, and a companion for her husband, “I am grateful that God has set his eyes on me,” she assures Visionarias.
How they were transformed into Christianity
After her husband went through health problems and after conflicts in their marital relationship, Mary came to know God the Father.
She recalled that her husband asked her to go to a new church, and they were surprised because they had never entered a Christian temple. There, they met Pastor Mario Sergio Gonzalez, and from that moment on, their lives changed because her husband’s health began to improve.
She explained that his problem was not physical but spiritual because they believed it was witchcraft since the doctors could never find the cause of his illness.
She said they had been attending an evangelical congregation in El Paso, Texas, since 1984. Still, Pastor Gonzalez asked them to go to Ciudad Juarez, to the Santa Maria neighborhood, where, in addition to violence, they found a lot of poverty more than 30 years ago. When they arrived in Juárez she already had her children Jessica and Eli, at that time she was 6 months pregnant with Stacy.
“When we don’t have God in our hearts, we walk without direction and direction,” he says, adding that despite the adversities, they had faith that there was a solution to their problems.
Challenges in starting their mission
The first day they arrived at the place that would be their church, Mary recalls that it was with fear because it was one of the most conflictive neighborhoods in the city, but they trusted in God’s plan for their family.
At that time, there was a lot of resistance from the neighbors because in that area, there were many people who practiced witchcraft, and she said that, although she came from a large family consisting of her parents and ten children, she had never seen so much poverty and misery.
Although the young couple had no family or friends to support them on the border, Mary recalls with pride that her life partner had the gift of prayer and faith, which gave her the strength to carry on, as well as the Father who has sustained them all these years.
The church “El Buen Samaritano” was founded in 1990 and currently has between 150 and 200 people, including 25 leaders who support them in their work. Their children also participate; Jessica –the eldest– was offering classes to the children and her daughter Stacy is married to Engineer Juan Alberto Porras, they are leaders of Praise. While their male children financially support the congregation.
Love God and love themselves
The pastor advised the women of Juarez to, first of all, love God and themselves, to be obedient and respectful, and to love and educate their children in the way of the Lord. “May they be like Deborah, in Judges 5:7, that they rise and put in order their house, their home, their family, their children, and their church”, that they are like Mary, “that they always say behold the handmaid of the Lord, do with me according to your word,” and in Luke 1:38, that they are like Hannah, and do not stop asking until he answers their prayers.
“My church is my family; for me, they are my brothers and sisters,” she comments, and adds that her favorite biblical text is Psalm 125:1, “Those who trust in the Lord, are like Mount Zion, which does not move, but remains forever, even in the most adverse circumstances,” because although she said it was not easy to move her family and her church forward, God has always been with them through the circumstances, which reaffirm them and make them stronger.

Embajadora global de One Hope que pone la palabra de Dios en las manos de los niños del mundo
Con el lema “La palabra de Dios en cada niño” Enid Almanzar a recorrido el mundo como parte de la organización One Hope, de la que es embajadora global.
Nacida en Puerto Rico, pero criada en Nueva York, desde los 15 años de edad Enid ha seguido los pasos de Dios, quien la llamó a su ministerio tras ciertas dificultades que la hoy pastora vivía mientras crecía al lado de su madre y la pareja de esta.
Nuestra visionaria de enero nos cuenta que, al nacer con problemas del corazón, su mamá decidió llevarla a Nueva York en busca de mejores condiciones médicas, dejando a su padre en la isla.
Esta situación y la nueva relación de su madre la hizo mantener un enojo con Dios, pues además tenían dificultades para tener comida en la mesa o ropa para ir a la escuela, además que padecía bulliyng en la escuela.
Fue entonces y ante la rebeldía que comenzaba a expresar que su mamá la envió a un retiro, lugar en el que por primera vez escuchó el llamado del Señor.
“Desde que entré al edificio sentí una presencia, pero diferente, era la presencia de Dios, yo la vi, la gente estaba hablando en lenguas, estaban cayendo en espíritu, era algo muy raro que yo nunca experimenté”, nos cuenta.
Sin embargo, a su regreso a casa todo seguía igual y no fue hasta que una amiga le regaló “el libro de esperanza de la vida de Jesús” (La Biblia) que por fin pudo conocer la vida de Dios y sus sacrificios.
Y aunque ya intentaba saber más acerca de la palabra, la joven Enid siguió con su vida y sus planes de ser abogada, hasta que en el último año de la universidad acudió a un campo de jóvenes donde fue voluntaria y conoció los programas que la acercaron al cristianismo, por lo cual dejó la escuela de leyes de la Universidad de Nueva York e inició con la teología.
Dejar el derecho y convertirse en promotora de la palabra, dice Enid, no fue idea suya, “no fue plan mío… el Señor me dio esa semilla para decir, te estoy preparando”. Fue entonces que Cristo la llevó de la mano por el camino de la evangelización.
One Hope
Antes de la pandemia por Covid-19, menciona, comenzó su pasión por el ministerio internacional.
Fue entonces que llegó a One Hope, un ministerio de evangelización global que se enfoca en poner Biblias y escrituras en manos de niños, “la misión es muy sencilla, la Palabra de Dios en cada niño”.
Informa que esta organización “fue fundada por una familia de misioneros de las asambleas de Dios, y el fundador desde pequeño era evangelista, iba a diferentes partes del mundo para predicar y para fundar iglesias, y en el año 1987 el Señor le dio un sueño, en el que le mostró al enemigo atacando a la próxima generación”, es así que comenzó la labor de la organización sin fines de lucro.
Ahora Enid Almazar es embajadora global de One Hope y se encarga de crear programas y relaciones a nivel global a través de compañías de comunicación masiva, en las que incluso hay misioneros digitales que llevan el mensaje por todo el mundo.
Esta labor la comparte con su esposo y sus hijos, con quienes asegura comprendió el verdadero amor.
“Ese amor para un hijo me ayudó a entender ese amor que el Señor tiene para nosotros como padres… es ese amor inagotable que permanece, incondicional”, dice sobre ese sentimiento que espera compartir con otras mujeres a quienes les manda un mensaje.
“No tengan miedo, el Señor no hizo error cuando nos creó como mujeres, él supo que el mundo necesitaba mujeres poderosas, mujeres de visión, que iban a ser valientes… no tengan miedo, no se rindan”.
Enid Almanzar
One Hope Global Ambassador putting God’s word into the hands of the world’s children.
With the motto “The Word of God in every child,” Enid Almanzar has traveled the world as part of the One Hope organization, of which she is a global ambassador.
Born in Puerto Rico but raised in New York, since she was 15 years old Enid has followed the steps of God, who called her to his ministry after certain difficulties that the current pastor experienced while growing up with her mother and her mother’s partner.
Our January visionary tells us that, when she was born with heart problems, her mother decided to take her to New York in search of better medical conditions, leaving her father on the island.
This situation and her mother’s new relationship made her angry with God, because they also had difficulties to have food on the table or clothes to go to school, and she also suffered bullying at school.
It was then, and in the face of the rebellion she began to express, that her mother sent her to a retreat, a place where she heard the call of the Lord for the first time.
“From the moment I entered the building I felt a presence, but different, it was the presence of God, I saw it, people were speaking in tongues, they were falling in spirit, it was something very strange that I had never experienced,” she tells us.
However, when she returned home, everything was the same and it was not until a friend gave her “the book of hope of the life of Jesus” (The Bible) that she was finally able to learn about the life of God and his sacrifices.
And although she was already trying to learn more about the word, young Enid continued with her life and her plans to be a lawyer, until in her last year of college she went to a youth camp where she volunteered and learned about the programs that brought her closer to Christianity, so she left law school at New York University and began studying theology.
Leaving law and becoming a preacher, Enid says, was not her idea, “it was not my plan… the Lord gave me that seed to say, I am preparing you.” It was then that Christ led her by the hand on the path of evangelization.
One Hope
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, she says, her passion for international ministry began.
It was then that he came to One Hope, a global evangelization ministry that focuses on putting Bibles and scriptures in the hands of children, “the mission is very simple, the Word of God in every child.”
She reports that this organization “was founded by a family of missionaries from the Assemblies of God, and the founder was an evangelist since he was a child, he went to different parts of the world to preach and found churches, and in 1987 the Lord gave him a dream, in which he showed him the enemy attacking the next generation,” and this is how the work of the non-profit organization began.
Now Enid Almazar is a global ambassador for One Hope and is in charge of creating programs and relationships at a global level through mass communication companies, in which there are even digital missionaries who carry the message around the world.
She shares this work with her husband and her children, with whom she says she understood true love.
“That love for a child helped me understand that love that the Lord has for us as parents… it is that inexhaustible love that remains, unconditional,” she says about that feeling that she hopes to share with other women to whom she sends a message.
“Do not be afraid, the Lord did not make a mistake when he created us as women, he knew that the world needed powerful women, women of vision, who were going to be brave… do not be afraid, do not give up.”
Familias con Propósito: 22 años rescatando y restaurando hogares
Fundada con la misión de bendecir y rescatar a las familias, la Iglesia Familias con Propósito ha sido un pilar de esperanza y fe en la comunidad.
Junto con su esposo el pastor Mario Valenzuela, Cecilia Beltrán fundó la iglesia con la visión de restaurar a las familias a su propósito original, según la Biblia.
Hace 22 años, Familias con Propósito comenzó en una modesta carpa en el área de Salvárcar, en las inmediaciones de la Avenida de las Torres y Jilotepec, en Ciudad Juárez. Cecilia y su esposo iniciaron su misión después de graduarse de un instituto bíblico. A pesar de los desafíos iniciales, incluyendo la pérdida momentánea de su equipo y mobiliario, la fe y el apoyo de la comunidad los mantuvieron firmes. Eventualmente, un terreno les fue donado, permitiéndoles construir su propio edificio después de años de esfuerzos y ofrendas.
La fe inquebrantable de la congregación ha sido respaldada por numerosos milagros y sanidades. Cecilia comparte: “Dios nos ha respaldado con sanidades y restauraciones asombrosas”. Personas han sido sanadas de cáncer, problemas pulmonares y lesiones físicas. Además, matrimonios en crisis han encontrado restauración y propósito en su fe”. Estos milagros no solo han transformado vidas individuales, sino también la comunidad en su conjunto.
Su historia personal incluso es testimonio de sanidad y milagros. “Mis hijos son un milagro de Dios”, afirma, recordando cómo pese al diagnóstico de infertilidad, pudo concebir a tres hijos, quienes son prueba viva del poder de Dios. Su historia es un recordatorio del poder de la fe y la gracia divina en las vidas de aquellos que creen y confían en Dios.
Lo que comenzó como una misión de ayuda se ha convertido en una congregación vibrante y activa que no solo se reúne para el culto, sino que también participa en comedores comunitarios, proporcionando comida y la palabra de Dios a niños y padres necesitados. Además, han surgido otros ministerios, incluyendo ya ayuda mujeres maltratadas y en situaciones de riesgo.
La importancia de la mujer en el ministerio
Familias con Propósito es ejemplo del papel vital de las mujeres en la evangelización y el ministerio. Cecilia explica: “La Biblia está llena de historias de mujeres que fueron de gran influencia y salvación para su pueblo”. Desde las historias bíblicas de Ruth, Raquel y Esther, hasta el ejemplo de la mujer samaritana, las mujeres han desempeñado un papel crucial en la difusión del evangelio y el servicio comunitario.
Con una comunidad de entre 200 y 250 miembros, la asociación continúa creciendo y extendiendo su alcance. Cecilia dice con entusiasmo: “Empezamos con 25 personas y queremos llegar a muchas más, llevando el evangelio y las buenas nuevas de salvación”. La familia Beltrán también participa activamente en el ministerio, con sus hijos sirviendo en diferentes roles dentro de la iglesia.
Familias con Propósito sigue comprometida con su misión de restaurar y fortalecer familias, llevando esperanza y sanidad a través de la palabra de Dios. Con una fe inquebrantable y una comunidad dedicada, continúan siendo un faro de luz y amor en medio de las dificultades y desafíos del mundo moderno.

A divine call for the family
Families with Purpose: 22 years rescuing and restoring homes
Founded to bless and rescue families, Families with Purpose Church has been a pillar of hope and faith in the community.
Along with her husband, Pastor Mario Valenzuela, Cecilia Beltran founded the church with the vision of restoring families to their original purpose, according to the Bible.
Twenty-two years ago, Familias con Propósito began in a modest tent in the Salvárcar area near Avenida de las Torres and Jilotepec in Ciudad Juárez. Cecilia and her husband started their mission after graduating from Bible school. Despite initial challenges, including the momentary loss of equipment and furniture, faith and community support kept them going. Eventually, land was donated to them, allowing them to build their building after years of effort and giving.
Numerous miracles and healings have backed the congregation’s unwavering faith. Cecilia shares, “God has backed us up with amazing healings and restorations.” People have been healed of cancer, lung problems, and physical injuries. Also, marriages in crisis have found restoration and purpose in their faith.” These miracles have transformed individual lives and the community as a whole.
Her personal story even bears witness to healing and miracles. “My children are a miracle of God,” she says, recalling how, despite a diagnosis of infertility, she could conceive three children, living proof of God’s power. Her story reminds us of the power of faith and divine grace in the lives of those who believe and trust in God.
What began as a relief mission has grown into a vibrant and active congregation that gathers for worship and participates in soup kitchens, providing food and the word of God to children and parents in need. In addition, other ministries have sprung up, including helping abused and at-risk women.
The importance of women in ministry
Families with Purpose is an example of the vital role of women in evangelism and ministry. Cecilia explains, “The Bible is full of stories of women who were of great influence and salvation to their people.” From the biblical stories of Ruth, Rachel, and Esther to the example of the Samaritan woman, women have played a crucial role in spreading the gospel and community service.
With a community of between 200 and 250 members, the association continues to grow and extend its reach. Cecilia enthusiastically says, “We started with 25 people, and we want to reach many more, bringing the gospel and the good news of salvation.” The Beltran family is also actively involved in the ministry, with their children serving in different roles within the church.
Familias con Propósito remains committed to restoring and strengthening families, bringing hope and healing through the word of God. With an unwavering faith and a dedicated community, they continue to be a beacon of light and love amidst the difficulties and challenges of the modern world.

Ericka López, con 20 años de experiencia en el sector de la ingeniería, ha sido testigo de los cambios en la industria respecto a la inclusión de mujeres. A pesar de comenzar su carrera en un ambiente predominantemente masculino, Ericka ha visto cómo el número de mujeres en la tecnología ha aumentado significativamente.
Inicialmente trabajando como asistente financiero, Ericka se aventuró en la ingeniería y descubrió una pasión por el diseño y la construcción de tecnología para autos. A pesar de los desafíos y la lenta marcha hacia la igualdad, destaca la importancia de la confianza en las habilidades propias y la persistencia femenina.
Ericka asegura que uno de los mayores retos sigue siendo la disparidad salarial y la falta de oportunidades. Sin embargo, reconoce el progreso logrado y la importancia de que las mujeres se sientan capaces y motivadas para ocupar roles en ingeniería. Además, resalta cómo la organización, la planificación y la creatividad son puntos fuertes que las mujeres aportan al campo tecnológico.
Este mes, al celebrarse el Día del Ingeniero en México, Visionarias reconoce a las mujeres que han sentado precedente en este ámbito laboral y abierto camino a otras más.
“Hemos avanzado, a marcha lenta, pero hemos avanzado, lo importante es entender que si podemos hacerlo. Es muy común que nosotras mismas nos limitemos buscando ser perfectas y esa es una de las causas de la demora en el crecimiento, debemos liberar nuestro potencial siendo pacientes y buscando a largo plazo la perfección”, asegura Ericka, quien funge como Senior Program Management Specialist y coordina a un grupo de ingenieros en el Centro Técnico de México de Aptiv, una compañía de tecnología para la movilidad.
Además, es la líder en Juárez de la Red de Mujeres Técnicas en Aptiv, la ATWN, la cual busca inspirar a jóvenes mujeres a considerar carreras en ingeniería, demostrando que el campo es accesible y lleno de oportunidades.
Su historia es prueba de cómo la perseverancia, la formación continua y el apoyo entre mujeres pueden transformar industrias y romper barreras históricas, pero también un testimonio de que la fe en Dios y su Palabra llevan al creyente al sitio destinado para él.
Criada en un entorno cristiano, su fe ha sido una fuente constante de inspiración y resiliencia. A lo largo de su vida, ha dedicado tiempo a su iglesia, desarrollando su talento para el canto y asumiendo roles de liderazgo, el más reciente en la iglesia La Mies El Paso, en el 11440 de la calle Montwood.
“Siempre me ha gustado cantar, desde pequeña me sentaba al frente en la iglesia para ser la primera en pasar cuando invitaban a los niños a cantar”, recuerda mientras narra que después de la pandemia comenzó a escribir canciones y le pidió a Dios que guiara su camino para llegar a un sitio donde pudiera poner a su servicio sus talentos.
“Cuando lleguemos a rendir cuentas sobre los talentos que Dios nos ha dado, cuando nos pregunte qué hicimos con lo que nos dio, no quiero quedarme callada, quiero llevar mis manos llenas de frutos”, dice.
Ericka también refleja sobre el papel de la mujer según la Biblia, especialmente en el libro de Proverbios. La descripción de la mujer en Proverbios 31 como fuerte, valiente y sabia resuena profundamente con su propia experiencia. Ericka alienta a las mujeres a ser valientes y seguras, recordándoles que Dios ya está en el futuro y que tienen la capacidad de superar cualquier desafío.
La fe y el trabajo arduo de esta mujer son un faro de esperanza y un ejemplo poderoso de cómo la determinación y la fe pueden abrir puertas y crear oportunidades para las generaciones futuras.
Ericka López: Breaking barriers
Ericka López, with 20 years of experience in the engineering sector, has witnessed changes in the industry regarding the inclusion of women. Despite starting her career in a predominantly male environment, Ericka has seen a significant increase in the number of women in technology.
Initially working as a financial assistant, Ericka ventured into engineering and discovered a passion for designing and building automotive technology. Despite the challenges and the slow progress towards equality, she emphasizes the importance of confidence in one’s skills and female persistence.
Ericka asserts that one of the biggest challenges remains the gender pay gap and lack of opportunities. However, she acknowledges the progress made and the importance of women feeling capable and motivated to take on roles in engineering. She also highlights how organization, planning, and creativity are vital points that women bring to the technology field.
As Mexico celebrates Engineer’s Day this month, Visionaries recognizes women who have set precedents in this professional field and paved the way for others.
“We have made progress, albeit slowly, but we have made progress. It’s important to understand that we can do it. It’s widespread for us to limit ourselves by seeking perfection, and that’s one of the reasons for the delay in growth. We must unlock our potential by being patient and striving for long-term perfection,” says Ericka, Senior Program Management Specialist, coordinating a group of engineers at Aptiv’s Mexico Technical Center, a mobility technology company.
She also leads the Aptiv Technical Women’s Network (ATWN) in Juárez, inspiring young women to consider careers in engineering and demonstrating that the field is accessible and full of opportunities.
Her story proves how perseverance, continuous learning, and support among women can transform industries and break historical barriers. It is also a testament that faith in God and His Word leads believers to their destined place.
Raised in a Christian environment, her faith has been a constant source of inspiration and resilience. Throughout her life, she has dedicated time to her church, developing her talent for singing and taking on leadership roles, most recently at La Mies El Paso Church, located at 11440 Montwood Street.
“I’ve always loved singing; since I was little, I would sit at the front of the church to be the first one up when they invited children to sing,” she recalls. After the pandemic, she began writing songs and asked God to guide her to a place where she could use her talents in service.
“When we are called to account for God’s talents, when He asks us what we did with what He gave us, I don’t want to remain silent. I want to have my hands full of fruit,” she says.
Ericka also reflects on the role of women according to the Bible, especially in the book of Proverbs. The description of a woman in Proverbs 31 as strong, brave, and wise resonates deeply with her own experience. Ericka encourages women to be courageous and confident, reminding them that God is already in the future and that they can overcome any challenge.
This woman’s faith and hard work are beacons of hope and powerful examples of how determination and faith can open doors and create opportunities for future generations.
