Aunque se resistía, al final esta mujer visionaria decidió rendirse al llamado de Dios, de quien profesa desde hace 34 años
Más de tres décadas de pastorear, para alguien que quería dedicarse a algo totalmente diferente, podrían resultar en un completo desastre,
sin embargo, esto no ocurrió con Ludim Ibarra de Martínez, quien en el camino se dio cuenta que escuchar el llamado de Dios fue lo mejor que le pasó en la vida.
La historia en el ministerio de Ludim comienza a muy temprana edad en la ciudad de Madera, Chihuahua, donde al regresar de un viaje no tuvo más remedio que aceptar lo que el Señor tenía preparado para ella y su familia.
“Una noche yo me fui con mi hijo a Juárez para ver a mi mamá y cuando veníamos en el tren de Ciudad Madera, el Espíritu Santo me volvió a recordar… y ahí fue donde dije ‘ni modo, doblo mis manos y a darle, a emprender el llamado de Dios, y desde ese entonces hasta ahorita hemos hechos muchísimas cosas dentro del servicio”, cuenta la entrevistada.
Pero esta historia trae mucho más de fondo, pues divertida recuerda que no quería dedicarse al pastoreo o casarse con un líder de la iglesia cristina, ya que sus hermanos eran pastores y sabía de la vida difícil que llevaban.
Comunidad Minec
Ludim, quien es originaria de Santa Ana, Namiquipa, nos cuenta que cuando tenía 18 años ella y su familia fueron a vivir a Cuauhtémoc, pues su suegra se encontraba enferma y necesitaba de ciertos cuidados, mismos que esta nuera estaba dispuesta a darle.
Ahí comenzó la historia del pastoreo, hace 34 años, tiempo suficiente para establecerse y estar en continúo apoyo de quien más lo necesite, lo cual ha realizado al lado de su esposo Aristeo Martínez, con quien abrió las puertas de la Comunidad Minec.
“Cuando mi esposo estaba estudiando el instituto yo le dije, ‘si tu piensas en ser pastor, entonces vamos a terminar’”, pero él le respondió que sólo estaba estudiando para prepararse y ayudar a la gente de la iglesia, recuerda divertida, pues además comenta que pensaba que se casaría con alguien que no tuviera nada que ver con la iglesia, aunque sí dinero con el que podría ayudar a los pastores.
Ahora se da cuenta que sólo el Señor sabe los planes que tiene para cada una de nosotras.
Tras aceptar su llamado y poner manos a la obra, Ludim se convirtió en pastora, además de teóloga y próximamente en maestra, pues estudia un posgrado en la misma materia.
Estos pasos, además de la preparación que ha llevado, le han permitido estar al pendiente de su comunidad. Actualmente su ministerio se enfoca en ayudar a las familias, a las que les ofrecen apoyo psicológico, consejería, pláticas para matrimonios y en especial para los adolescentes.
“Nuestro interés es ver que las familias sirvan a Dios y juntos trabajen para él”, menciona.
También, ella y su equipo visitan colonias a las que llevan alimento, doctores, psicólogos, despensas, cobijas y otros apoyos.
El Karma y La Pecadora
“Dios nos llevó para llegar y extender el evangelio”, nos cuenta esta mujer visionaria, quien desde hace 4 años cambió la sede de su iglesia y como dato curioso nos cuenta que decidieron cambiar el giro del nuevo establecimiento, pues paso de un antro y bar, llamados Karma y La Pecadora, respectivamente, para ser el hogar de la comunidad cristiana cuauhtemense, para la cual, sin duda se han convertido en un referente, tanto, que otros templos deciden igualar los proyectos que ponen en marcha en Minec y seguir con la ayuda a la gente.
Precisamente es a la gente a quien Ludim pide no dejar de lado la sensibilidad “tan urgente y necesaria por ayudar al prójimo” y nos recuerda que “la pandemia nos dejó estar separados, estar aislados, pero no es tiempo de aislarnos, es tiempo de ayudar, de poner un granito de arena que tanto se necesita”, afirma la también madre de Caleb, Mizraim e Israel, quienes participan en el ministerio.

However, this did not happen to Ludim Ibarra de Martínez, who along the way realized that hearing God’s call was the best thing that ever happened to her.
The story of Ludim’s ministry begins at a very young age in the city of Madera, Chihuahua, where upon returning from a trip she had no choice but to accept what the Lord had prepared for her and her family.
“One night I went with my son to Juárez to see my mother and when we were on the train from Ciudad Madera, the Holy Spirit reminded me again… and that’s when I said ‘no way, I fold my hands and give it to Him, to undertake the call of God, and since then until now we have done many things in the service, “says the interviewee.
But this story has much more background, as she amusingly recalls that she did not want to dedicate herself to pastoring or marrying a Christian church leader since her brothers were pastors and she knew about the difficult life they led.
Minec community
Ludim, who is originally from Santa Ana, Namiquipa, tells us that when she was 18 years old, she and her family went to live in Cuauhtémoc because her mother-in-law was sick and needed some care, which her daughter-in-law was willing to give her.
That is where the story of shepherding began, 34 years ago, enough time to establish herself and be in continuous support of those who need it most, which she has done alongside her husband Aristeo Martinez, with whom she opened the doors of the Minec Community.
“When my husband was studying high school I told him, ‘if you think about being a pastor, then let’s finish'”, but he replied that he was only studying to prepare himself and help the people of the church, she recalls amused, as she also comments that she thought she would marry someone who had nothing to do with the church, although she did have money with which she could help the pastors.
Now she realizes that only the Lord knows the plans He has for each of us.
After accepting her calling and getting down to work, Ludim became a pastor, as well as a theologian and soon to become a teacher, since she is studying for a postgraduate degree in the same subject.
These steps, in addition to the preparation she has undergone, have allowed her to be attentive to her community. Currently, her ministry is focused on helping families, offering them psychological support, counseling, and talks for marriages, especially for teenagers.
“Our interest is to see families serving God and working together for him,” she says.
She and her team also visit neighborhoods where they bring food, doctors, psychologists, food pantries, blankets, and other support.
Karma and La Pecadora
“God took us to reach out and spread the gospel,” says this visionary woman, who four years ago changed the headquarters of her church and as a curious fact tells us that they decided to change the turn of the new establishment, as it went from a nightclub and bar, called Karma and La Pecadora, respectively, to be the home of the Cauhtemense Christian community, for which, without doubt, have become a reference, so much so, that other temples decide to match the projects that are launched in Minec and continue helping people.
It is precisely the people to whom Ludim asks not to leave aside the sensitivity “so urgent and necessary to help others” and reminds us that “the pandemic left us separated, isolated, but it is not time to isolate ourselves, it is time to help, to put a grain of sand that is so needed,” says the mother of Caleb, Mizraim and Israel, who participate in the ministry.
