Hace algunos años la idea de que nuestros hijos fueran educados en casa era realmente ajena a nuestra mente; de hecho, muchos ignorábamos que fuera posible, ¿quién se imaginaría que hoy es una realidad?
Actualmente, en vez de llevar a nuestros hijos a un colegio, hemos convertido la mesa del comedor en su pupitre.
Han sido semanas difíciles, las cosas cambiaron y el corazón de muchos padres está cansado, desanimado y frustrado, por eso, papá o mamá que estás leyendo estas líneas déjame decirte con seguridad pero también con mucho respeto: todo estará bien.
El Señor nos ha puesto en el papel de padres para instruir al niño en su camino y aunque sabemos que esta palabra se refiere principalmente a los caminos de Dios, ten por seguro que también te ha dado talentos para educar a tus hijos.
Puedo ver en la Biblia a un Moisés que tenía clara su identidad aún y cuando fue criado en un palacio, él sabía a dónde pertenecía, y eso lo recibió del poco tiempo que su madre biológica lo amamantó.
Puedo ver a un pequeño Samuel ser visitado por su madre una sola vez al año mientras crecía sirviendo en el templo, y de esas visitas obtener la fortaleza para levantarse como un gran profeta. Y puedo ver a un rey Salomón estar lleno de la sabiduría que sus padres habían depositado en él cuando tan solo era un pequeño.
De la misma manera Dios te ha dotado de la capacidad de impactar positivamente a tus hijos, sólo déjame darte un consejo: asegúrate de que en tu corazón exista amor y devoción al Señor, entonces deja que tus hijos te observen crecer en fe mientras sirves a los demás. Dads and home school
A few years ago the idea that our children were homeschooled was really out of our mind; In fact, many of us didn’t know that it was possible. Who would imagine that today is a reality?
Today, instead of taking our children to school, we have turned the dining room table into their desk.
It has been difficult weeks, things have changed and the hearts of many parents are tired, discouraged and frustrated, so, mom or dad who are reading these lines, let me tell you with confidence but also with great respect: everything will be fine. The Lord has put us in the parent role to instruct child in his way, and although we know that this word refers mainly to God’s ways, rest assured that he has also given you talents to educate your children.
I can see in the Bible a Moses who had his identity clear even when he was raised in a palace; he knew where he belonged, and he learned this during the short time that his biological mother nursed him.
I can see a little Samuel being visited by his mother only once a year as he grew up serving in the temple, and from those visits he obtained the strength to raise as a great prophet. And I can see a king Solomon being filled with his parent wisdom while he was just a little boy.
In the same way God has given you the ability to positively impact your children. Just let me give you some advice: make sure that your heart be full of love and devotion to the Lord, then let your children watch you grow in faith as you serve others.
