Hace poco tuve una situación en donde no fui una verdadera amiga, eso me entristeció mucho, me arrepentí y pedí perdón, sin embargo, ahora me pregunto si lo volvería a hacer.
Tal vez eso que me aflige ya no, pero seguramente me equivocaré otra vez, pues está en nuestra naturaleza, tal y como ocurre con las mujeres protagonistas del libro “Doce mujeres extraordinarias” de John Mac Arthur.
Este título ejemplifica con mujeres simples y sencillas, cuya historia las volvió extraordinarias. Ese es el caso de la mujer samaritana de Juan: Ana, una viuda que apenas se menciona en el libro de Lucas; Rahab, quien era una ramera, y María, la madre de Jesús.
En cada ejemplo nos cuenta cuál fue el cambio memorable en su vida, resultado de un encuentro con el Dios del universoy no debido a cualidades naturales de ellas mismas, sino solamente por medio de la obra perfecta de un extraordinario salvador, nuestro Señor Jesucristo, por quien ellas pueden ser mujeres extraordinarias, amigas verdaderas, así como lo podemos ser tú y yo.

True friends
I recently had a situation where I was not a true friend that saddened me; I repented and asked for forgiveness; however, now I wonder if I would do it again.
Perhaps that which distresses me no longer, but surely I will be wrong again, because it is in our nature, as it happens with the women protagonists of the book “Twelve Extraordinary Women” by John MacArthur.
This title exemplifies simple women whose history made them extraordinary. This is the case of John’s Samaritan woman: Anna, a widow who is barely mentioned in the book of Luke; Rahab, who was a harlot; and Mary, the mother of Jesus.
In each example, the book tells us what was the notable change in their lives, the result of an encounter with the God of the universe and not because of any natural qualities of their own, but only through the excellent work of an extraordinary savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom they can be incredible women, true friends, just as you and I can be.
If you like positive stories, I encourage you to read this beautiful book with which the Lord will undoubtedly bless your life.
