La mujer en la iglesia cristiana
En su historia han tenido que demostrarse a ellas mismas lo que son capaces de lograr tomadas de la mano de Dios, quien les ha enviado una misión muy especial
Durante años el papel de la mujer dentro de la iglesia cristiana fue el de apoyar a su esposo, enseñar a sus hijos y realizar las actividades propias del hogar o aquellas en bien de su congregación, siempre a la sombra de el hombre, quien hasta nuestros días es quien mayormente se lleva los créditos a la hora de pastorear el rebaño.
Sin embargo, con el paso de los años y el trabajo de un grupo de increíbles mujeres lo anterior ha ido cambiando, y cada vez son más las que llevan las riendas de templos y ministerios, importantes todos en nuestra comunidad.
Como ejemplo de lo anterior, Visionarias te presenta el trabajo de tres pastoras que tras hacer caso al llamado de Dios han cambiado las reglas y ahora son ejemplo para otras que buscan dar a conocer el mensaje que les ha sido confiado.
Aracely César
Agradeciendo la oportunidad de llegar con su trabajo a otras vidas, esta mujer nos cuenta que lleva 50 años dentro del llamado pastoral, pero sólo 30 de ellos los ha dedicado a la enseñanza bíblica, basada en la Palabra de Dios escrita, así como a la consejería, mayormente dirigida a mujeres.
Nos cuenta que fue aquí en la frontera donde comenzó a predicar, lo cual estaba normalmente visto que hicieran los varones, a quienes sus esposas acompañaban a pastorear.
“Desde niña tenía ese deseo de servir a Dios con la Palabra, pero pues nunca fui enseñada, nunca fui guiada porque la iglesia en que crecimos no había ningún énfasis hacia el ministerio de la mujer, en general se enfocaba al varón, y la mujer, lo clásico, era para cuidar niños y atender la cocina en eventos donde se requería la elaboración de comida”, afirma.
Por lo anterior es que cree que en todos esos años no conoció a “a una sola mujer que impactara mi vida en el sentido espiritual”, lo que sin duda marcó su corazón, pero que ella estaba dispuesta a cambiar.
Fue durante su estadía en la ciudad de Guadalajara, en un momento en que se quedaron sin una congregación –recuerda–, que decidió atender el llamado de Dios, quien primeramente trató su corazón y luego le mostró que no era suficiente con lo que hacía, sino que era necesario atender el llamado, lo que sin duda hizo y le dio libertad.
Por lo que ya en 1996, a su regreso a Ciudad Juárez, fue su momento de pastorear, “comencé en la iglesia donde mi esposo pastoreaba, empecé con las mujeres”, nos dice, y agrega que las invitaba solamente a hablar, lo que ellas aprovechaban para contarle sus historias más graves, las cuales oprimían sus vidas.
Fue ella, quien las ayudó a reconciliarse con la vida y con todo aquello que les hacía mal, lo cual comparte que fue fácil pues eran cosas que podían hablar con ella y no con el pastor, un punto que las pastoras tenían a su favor y que con el paso de los años lo ha llevado a un siguiente nivel, el de las redes sociales.
Ahora ella aprovecha los medios digitales para dar a conocer el mensaje de Dios a través de su grupo “De Mujer a Mujer”, enfocado en que ellas aprendan a ministrar a otras mujeres.
“Mi servicio a Dios es diario y con el mismo énfasis busco a las ovejas a través de WhatsApp, de llamadas y me piden consejo y les pregunto cómo están y a mí no me pagan por hacer eso, pero a mí Dios me ha llamado a hacerlo… eso llena mi corazón de gozo y de gratitud”, y es esto último lo que dice es lo que quiere dejar como legado a su comunidad.
Asegura que “las nuevas generaciones tienen que vivir conforme al Espíritu Santo y su guía, y a la Palabra, siguiendo la mirada de Jesús, pues si quitamos la mirada de Jesús, nuestro maestro, perdemos camino”.
Es por lo anterior que, a las mujeres se les llama a ser sabias en la Palabra de Dios, pues así como a ella, él las va a respaldar en sus decisiones y sus acciones.
“Vayan más allá de sólo leer la Biblia, para que conozcan más el carácter santo de Dios como padre, de Jesús como hijo y del Espíritu Santo como guía, no se queden con sólo oír la Palabra, sino que la pongan por obra, adquieran su sabiduría… porque de eso hay recompensa eterna”.
Aída Mauricio
La creadora de Mujeres con Propósito lleva activa en el ministerio desde hace 40 años, cuando junto a su esposo Gilberto fundó la iglesia Ebenezer, sin embargo, fue hasta después de que una hermana de la iglesia le dijera que el Señor la había llamado y le pedía que nunca más dijera que no era pastora que dejó el miedo atrás y se atrevió a dar el siguiente paso.
“En ese momento reconocí que era un privilegio ser llamada y servir a Dios”, nos dice la pastora, quien acepta tenía temor, pues en ese tiempo la mujer no tenía un nombramiento, ni aceptación como tal.
Recuerda que asistía a la Alianza Ministerial sólo como acompañante de su esposo y que como ella, las pocas mujeres que también acudían no tenían ni voz ni voto dentro del mismo, pues, aunque desde antes iba a juntas de pastores, nada más los hombres tomaban las decisiones.
Fue así que junto con otra hermana pidieron permiso al presidente para que ellas también tuvieran un espacio a la par de sus maridos para reunirse y conocerse mejor, lo que derivó en el nacimiento de Mujeres con Propósito, esto hace ya 34 años.
“Ha sido un reto el enseñarle a la esposa del pastor que también Dios le ha llamado y que debe de ir a predicar con su esposo, es un logro… la esposa del pastor estaba sentada, no hacía nada o era el momento en que sólo hacía actividades en la iglesia”, asegura quien desde entonces se ha dedicado a agrupar a las ministras que están solas, y las que ahora son amigas y se cuidan, apoyan y aconsejan entre ellas.
“De 40 años para acá creo que hemos avanzado muchísimo, porque ahora las mujeres que yo veía que no tenían participación en las iglesias con sus esposos ahora sus esposos les dan el lugar, la presentan como ‘mi esposa la pastora’ y antes era ‘la esposa del pastor’… he visto unos cambios increíbles en las mujeres que cuando empezamos no eran”, menciona.
“Yo creo que hemos ganado mucho terreno, porque no nada más estamos hablando del ámbito de la iglesia, sino del ámbito también social. La imagen o la autoridad que ya tiene una pastora se la ha ganado, ya no es lo mismo de antes”, y agrega, que el siguiente paso o reto es seguir unidas, “mientras eso no suceda, esta ciudad no va a cambiar, el día que nosotros nos unamos vamos a ser una luz, como la palabra lo dice, ‘vamos a ser luz en medio de la oscuridad’… mi anhelo es ver mi ciudad cambiada”, comenta.
Norma Varela
“Es un llamado directamente de Dios, no tuve un instituto bíblico, tuve un sueño, tuve una visión donde Dios me necesitaba para un trabajo específico y me dijo el lugar, me dijo el tiempo, con las personas que iba a tratar y así fue, un llamado muy rápido”, comparte con nosotras la pastora que desde hace 20 años ha estado al frente de Centro Familias Dios Todo Poderoso.
Ella recuerda que fue en marzo de 2005 cuando el pastor Tony Portillo le transmitió el mensaje del Señor, quien le pedía que se preparara porque pronto llegaría el momento en que ella sería pastora. Ya en julio, tras un retiro y una visión supo que era el tiempo adecuado.
Recuerda que en esa visión ella vio a Dios levantando y sanando a una adolescente víctima de una sobredosis, la cual tiempo después conocería en persona. “Cuando la conocí fue impresionante que fue la niña que yo vi, que el Señor me dijo ‘lo que yo hago quiero que tú lo hagas’”.
Fue así como comenzó su misión en el centro de restauración que ella y su marido decidieron edificar, algo que no fue del todo fácil, pues revela que no se sentía preparada para abrirse paso.
“Estaba preparada para servir a Dios, pero no para pastorear, mucho menos que me dijeran pastora”, además estaba en un barrio muy conflictivo, sin embargo, no se detuvo y fue ahí donde, después de rentar, junto con su marido compró una iglesia y por raro que parezca recibió el apoyo de los cholos que ahí vivían, siendo ellos los primeros en asistir al lugar para recibir el mensaje que el Señor les enviaba por medio de ella.
Agrega que lo más difícil fue adentrarse dentro de una la cultura muy arraigada, la del machismo, pues “al ver la figura de una mujer que dirige una iglesia las mismas personas que ya eran cristianas, creyentes, que ya tenían su fe decían que no podía ministrar, que una mujer no podía ser pastora”.
Pero al final de cuentas nada de eso hizo eco en su convicción y en 2012 fue nombrada presidenta de la Alianza Ministerial Evangélica, una agrupación de pastores que bajo la gracia de Dios le permitió posicionarse.
“El Señor me vistió de gracia y la sociedad cristiana me empezó a ver bien… al principio no fue fácil… una persona me dijo dos cosas, ‘no me voy a dejar liderar por ti, primero porque eres mujer y (segundo) porque estás joven’ y se fue”.
Ahorita ese tipo de situaciones se dan en menor escala, pues ya es más aceptable que una mujer sea predicadora, pastora, ministra, e incluso tenga su credencial que la acredite como tal, nos cuenta.
“Creo que hemos avanzado, la sociedad ha avanzado en aceptar el ministerio de una mujer, aunque sigue habiendo un poquito de reserva, no han creído que tenemos la gracia de Dios”, es por esto por lo que su deseo es que los hombres vean a la mujer como un arma poderosa espiritual, que la vean y la posicionen, pues el Señor las “respalda al cien por ciento”, asegura.

Throughout their history they have had to prove to themselves what they are capable of achieving by holding the hand of God, who has sent them a very special mission
For years the role of women within the Christian church was to support their husbands, teach their children and carry out household activities or those for the good of their congregation, always in the shadow of the man, who to this day is the one who mostly takes the credit when it comes to shepherding the flock.
However, over the years and with the work of a group of incredible women, the above has been changing, and more and more women are taking the reins of temples and ministries, all of which are important in our community.
As an example of the above, Visionarias presents the work of three pastors who, after heeding God’s call, have changed the rules and are now an example for others who seek to spread the message that has been entrusted to them.
Aracely César
Grateful for the opportunity to reach other lives with her work, this woman tells us that she has been in the pastoral calling for 50 years, but only 30 of them have been dedicated to Bible teaching, based on the written Word of God, as well as counseling, mostly directed at women.
She tells us that it was here on the border where she began to preach, which was normally seen as something that men did, with their wives accompanying them to pastor.
“Since I was a child, I had this desire to serve God with the Word, but I was never taught, I was never guided because the church in which we grew up had no emphasis on women’s ministry, in general it focused on men, and women, typically, were there to take care of children and attend to the kitchen at events where food preparation was required,” she says.
Because of this, she believes that in all those years she did not meet “a single woman who impacted my life in the spiritual sense,” which undoubtedly marked her heart, but which she was willing to change.
It was during her stay in the city of Guadalajara, at a time when they were left without a congregation – she remembers – that she decided to heed the call of God, who first treated her heart and then showed her that what she did was not enough, but that it was necessary to heed the call, which she undoubtedly did and gave her freedom.
So in 1996, upon her return to Ciudad Juárez, it was her time to pastor. “I started in the church where my husband pastored, I started with the women,” she tells us, adding that she only invited them to talk, which they took advantage of to tell her their most serious stories, which oppressed their lives.
It was she who helped them reconcile with life and with everything that hurt them, which she shares was easy because they were things they could talk about with her and not with the pastor, a point that the pastors had in their favor and that over the years she has taken to the next level, that of social networks.
Now she takes advantage of digital media to spread the message of God through her group “From Woman to Woman,” focused on women learning to minister to other women.
“My service to God is daily and with the same emphasis I look for the sheep through WhatsApp, through calls and they ask me for advice and I ask them how they are and I am not paid to do that, but God has called me to do it… that fills my heart with joy and gratitude,” and it is this last thing that she says is what she wants to leave as a legacy to her community.
She assures that “the new generations have to live according to the Holy Spirit and his guidance, and the Word, following the gaze of Jesus, because if we take our gaze off of Jesus, our teacher, we lose our way.”
It is for this reason that women are called to be wise in the Word of God, because just like her, he will support them in their decisions and actions. “Go beyond just reading the Bible, so that you may know more about the holy character of God as Father, of Jesus as Son, and of the Holy Spirit as Guide. Do not just listen to the Word, but put it into practice, acquire its wisdom… because from that there is an eternal reward.”
Aída Mauricio
The creator of Women with Purpose has been active in the ministry for 40 years, when she founded the Ebenezer Church with her husband Gilberto. However, it was not until after a sister in the church told her that the Lord had called her and asked her to never again say that she was not a pastor that she left fear behind and dared to take the next step.
“At that moment I recognized that it was a privilege to be called and serve God,” says the pastor, who admits that she was afraid, because at that time women did not have an appointment, nor acceptance as such.
She remembers that she attended the Ministerial Alliance only as her husband’s companion and that like her, the few women who also attended had no voice or vote within it, because, although she had previously attended pastors’ meetings, only the men made the decisions.
So, together with another sister, they asked the president for permission so that they could also have a space alongside their husbands to meet and get to know each other better, which led to the birth of Women with Purpose, this 34 years ago.
“It has been a challenge to teach the pastor’s wife that God has also called her and that she should go preach with her husband. It is an achievement… the pastor’s wife was sitting, she did nothing or it was the time when she only did activities in the church,” says the woman who has since dedicated herself to grouping together the ministers who are alone, and those who are now friends and take care of each other, support each other and advise each other.
“From 40 years to now, I think we have advanced a lot, because now the women that I saw who did not participate in the churches with their husbands, now their husbands give them the place, they introduce them as ‘my wife the pastor’ and before she was ‘the pastor’s wife’… I have seen incredible changes in women that were not there when we started,” she mentions.
“I think we have gained a lot of ground, because we are not only talking about the church sphere, but also the social sphere. The image or authority that a female pastor already has been earned, it is no longer the same as before,” and adds that the next step or challenge is to remain united, “until that happens, this city will not change, the day we unite we will be a light, as the word says, ‘we will be light in the midst of darkness’… my desire is to see my city changed,” she comments.
Norma Varela
“It is a call directly from God. I did not attend a Bible institute. I had a dream, I had a vision where God needed me for a specific job and He told me the place, the time, the people I was going to work with, and so it was, a very quick call,” shares with us the pastor who has been at the head of Centro Familias Dios Todo Poderoso for 20 years.
She remembers that it was in March 2005 when Pastor Tony Portillo gave her the message from the Lord, who asked her to prepare herself because the time would soon come when she would be a pastor. In July, after a retreat and a vision, she knew that the time was right.
She remembers that in that vision she saw God raising and healing a teenage victim of an overdose, whom she would later meet in person. “When I met her, it was impressive that she was the girl I saw, that the Lord told me ‘what I do, I want you to do. ’”
That was how her mission began in the restoration center that she and her husband decided to build, something that was not at all easy, because she reveals that she did not feel prepared to make her own way.
“I was prepared to serve God, but not to pastor, much less to be called pastor,” and she was in a very conflictive neighborhood. However, she did not stop there, and it was there that, after renting, she and her husband bought a church and, strange as it may seem, she received the support of the cholos who lived there, being the first to attend the place to receive the message that the Lord sent them through her.
She adds that the most difficult thing was to enter into a very deep-rooted culture, that of machismo, because “when seeing the figure of a woman who leads a church, the same people who were already Christians, believers, who already had their faith said that she could not minister, that a woman could not be a pastor.”
But in the end, none of that echoed in her conviction and in 2012 she was named president of the Evangelical Ministerial Alliance, a group of pastors that, under the grace of God, allowed her to position herself.
“The Lord clothed me with grace and Christian society began to see me in a good light… at first it was not easy… one person told me two things, ‘I am not going to let you lead me, first because you are a woman and (second) because you are young’ and he left.”
Nowadays, these types of situations occur on a smaller scale, since it is more acceptable for a woman to be a preacher, pastor, minister, and even have her credentials that accredit her as such, she tells us.
“I think we have made progress, society has made progress in accepting the ministry of a woman, although there is still a little reservation, they have not believed that we have the grace of God,” this is why her desire is for men to see women as a powerful spiritual weapon, to see them and position them, since the Lord “supports them one hundred percent,” she assures.

La historia de El Pastor Amador Valenzuela que pronto celebrará sus 75 años, con 56 de ellos dedicados al ministerio, es un testimonio inspirador de transformación, erudición y un amor inquebrantable por el servicio.
Desde su natal OjinaGA, Chihuahua, hasta los confines de múltiples naciones, su camino ha sido una búsqueda constante de conocimiento y una entrega total a su vocación.
Su formación inicial, marcada por la guía de una madre maestra que le enseñó a “educar” más allá de “enseñar”, lo llevó al Tecnológico de Chihuahua, donde se especializó en máquinas de precisión. El destino PROVIDENCIAL, sin embargo, tenía otros planes. En la ingeniería aeronáutica en El Paso, Texas, que, paradójicamente, lo desvió de los cielos materiales hacia los espirituales.
Fue un cambio radical: de planear estudiar ingeniería aeronáutica en California a sumergirse en los estudios teológicos.
Su sed de conocimiento lo llevó a completar dos licenciaturas (psicología y teología), dos maestrías y dos doctorados. Una vasta preparación académica no por vanidad, sino para “debates con filósofos, científicos y académicos”, demostrando que la vocación divina puede y debe ir acompañada de una sólida credibilidad intelectual. Como él mismo afirma: “Satanás no le tiene miedo a los títulos, sino a la vocación divina y la respuesta digna a ella“.
Un Legado que Trasciende: Familia, Valores y Propósito Eterno
Detrás del púlpito, hay un hombre con un corazón arraigado en la familia. Con más de 50 años de matrimonio y la bendición de seis hijos (un varón y cinco mujeres) y cinco nietos, su vida es un reflejo de estabilidad y amor duradero.
“Amando aún más” a su esposa después de cinco décadas, se describe como “feliz como esposo, padre y abuelo” en el ejercicio de su ministerio.
Su visión de vida se profundiza con un el legado mas haya de la herencia.
El Pastor nos platica que el Legado: son Valores eternos y espirituales, trascendiendo el tiempo y por otra parte la Herencia: son valores temporales y materiales, importantes, pero secundarios.
Esta distinción es una crítica sutil a quienes se enfocan solo en lo material, olvidando la riqueza espiritual.
La Siembra de el conocimiento de Libros a Manuales y el Poder de la Radio: Consciente de que “la gente lee poco”, el pastor, por consejo divino, transitó de escribir extensos libros a crear ocho manuales prácticos, parte de un vasto material que incluye “cientos de grabaciones”. Su ministerio mediático es pionero: comenzó en la radio secular cuando no existían estaciones cristianas, y hoy, con su hijo Misael a cargo de la edición y distribución, su mensaje llega a múltiples estaciones de radio y televisión en diversas naciones. Una evolución de “correr de estación en estación” a un estudio propio que filma y produce sus cultos con profesionalismo.
Por último El Pastor nos comenta que la Mujer es un Sello y Culminación de la Creación Divina, creada al final como la culminación de la obra de Dios, facultada como la mayor colaboradora para traer vida humana al mundo, la mujer, fue formada de “materia viva”(costilla) a diferencia del hombre (polvo), posee una “superioridad científica y funcional”, con más ramificaciones cerebrales y una visión panorámica del hogar que le permite manejar múltiples aspectos simultáneamente.
“Lo más hermoso que hay en este mundo es la mujer”, un llamado a reconocer su lugar ministerial adecuado su valor intrínseco.

Rooted in Learning and Redirected by Purpose
His early formation, shaped by a schoolteacher mother who taught him to “educate” beyond simply “teach,” led him to the Technological Institute of Chihuahua, where he specialized in precision machinery. Yet providence had other plans.
What began as a journey toward aeronautical engineering in El Paso, Texas, surprisingly steered him away from material skies toward heavenly ones.
It was a radical shift: from planning to study engineering in California to immersing himself in theological studies.
His thirst for learning led him to earn two bachelor’s degrees (in psychology and theology), two master’s degrees, and two doctorates — not for vanity, but, as he puts it, to be able to “debate with philosophers, scientists, and academics,” proving that a divine calling can and should be backed by solid intellectual credibility.
As he wisely states:
“Satan doesn’t fear academic titles — he fears a divine calling and a worthy response to it.”
A Legacy That Transcends: Family, Values, and Eternal Purpose
Behind the pulpit is a man with a heart deeply rooted in family. With over 50 years of marriage, he is the proud father of six children (one son and five daughters) and five grandchildren. His life reflects enduring love and stability.
“Loving my wife even more” after five decades, he describes himself as “happy as a husband, father, and grandfather” while continuing to serve in ministry.
His life vision is enriched by a clear understanding of legacy — far beyond just inheritance.
Pastor Valenzuela shares his view that:
Legacy consists of eternal and spiritual values that transcend time.
Inheritance, on the other hand, includes temporal and material values — important, yes, but secondary.
This distinction gently critiques those who focus only on the material, neglecting the richness of spiritual heritage.
Sowing Knowledge: From Books to Manuals and the Power of Radio
Aware that “people don’t read much,” the pastor — through divine prompting — transitioned from writing lengthy books to producing eight practical manuals, part of an extensive collection that includes hundreds of recordings.
A true media pioneer, he began in secular radio at a time when Christian stations didn’t exist. Today, with his son Misael overseeing editing and distribution, his message reaches multiple radio and TV stations across various nations.
What once meant “running from station to station” has now evolved into a professional in-house studio, where worship services are filmed and produced with excellence.
A Divine Reflection: The Woman as Crown of Creation
Finally, Pastor Valenzuela shares his reverence for women, calling them the seal and culmination of divine creation.
Created last, as the final touch of God’s masterpiece and the ultimate collaborator in giving life to humanity, woman was formed from “living matter” (a rib), unlike man, who was formed from dust.
He highlights her “scientific and functional superiority”, noting women’s greater neural connectivity and panoramic vision of the home, which allows them to manage multiple aspects of life simultaneously.
“The most beautiful thing in this world is woman,”
he says — a call to recognize her rightful ministerial role and intrinsic value.

En una nueva etapa, la fundadora de Vida Integral para la Mujer A.C. cuenta sobre el trabajo que hace a favor de las víctimas de violencia y sus hijos
Con el objetivo de proteger y apoyar a mujeres víctimas de violencias extremas, así como a sus hijas e hijos, ofreciéndoles refugio, atención psicológica, asesoría jurídica y otras herramientas para salir adelante, es que fue creado Vida Integral para la Mujer A.C., que está comenzando una nueva etapa en su historia.
De la mano de su directora y fundadora, Lilia Aurora Pacheco, Vida Integral para la Mujer deja de percibir apoyos gubernamentales para así poder dar una ayuda espiritual libre a quienes se acercan en busca no sólo de protección, si no de un espacio donde puedan iniciar una vida normal, incluso tomar talleres que les sirvan para subsistir económicamente, siempre tomadas de la mano de Dios.
Lo anterior, nos cuenta Lilia, se pone en marcha a través de los grupos “A Corazón Abierto” de ayuda mutua y conocimiento en Cristo.
‘Creer en Dios’
Pero todo el trabajo que esta institución se realiza no es de hoy, han sido años de labor constante de una mujer visionaria, quien, tras superar el cáncer de tiroides hace más de dos décadas, decidió salvar a otras mujeres, siguiendo también el ejemplo de su madre Ofelia, “una mujer muy valiente, ella fue quien me enseñó a creer en Dios”, nos cuenta.
Por ella es que “estoy intentando por medio del refugio seguir salvando las vidas de las mujeres, los niños y las niñas que sufren violencia, y también a la comunidad”, comenta la madre de una hija y abuela de dos pequeños.
Refugio y centro externo
Lilia nos comparte que el trabajo en el refugio consiste en recibir a las víctimas en un lugar seguro, con una dirección confidencial, ya sea que lleguen por cuenta propia o canalizadas por medio de alguna fiscalía, hospital, iglesia o cualquier otra institución que sabe del trabajo que ellos realizan. Además, pertenecen a la Red Nacional de Refugios.
Las mujeres que se acercan padecen violencia desde física, económica, psicológica y hasta obstetra, que hasta no hace muchos años no era tomada en cuenta.
Otro de los ejes importantes de Vida Integral para la Mujer A. C. es el centro externo, ubicado en la colonia Salvárcar y abierto para ayudar a la comunidad en general en diversos temas, uno de ellos es el jurídico, para lo cual cuentan con abogados que dan seguimiento y acompañamiento en casos donde se requiera de asesoría legal.
“Por una vida que salves, salvas a una mujer y sus generaciones”, menciona nuestra entrevistada, quien también acepta que no siempre se logra el cometido, pues para algunas mujeres es difícil salir de la zona de agresión.
“Como mujer ha sido muy frustrante que la mujer no se valora, que tú les das tres seis meses de tu vida, contante, y si Dios no está ahí no puede abrir su entendimiento sola… Donde Dios no está no hay soluciones”, pero agrega que es por las historias de éxito es que ella continúa su labor.
Por ahora Lilia Pacheco continúa trabajando por el bien de las mujeres y sus hijos, en esta nueva etapa con el cobijo de Dios, quien dice ha sido bueno y ha tenido misericordia de ella, dice, “(sin él) no podemos hacer nada”, tal cual se lo enseñó su madre, quien también le hizo ver que es una hija de Dios.
A Daughter of God
In a new chapter, the founder of Vida Integral para la Mujer A.C. shares the work she carries out to support victims of violence and their children.
With the mission of protecting and supporting women who have experienced extreme violence—as well as their daughters and sons—Vida Integral para la Mujer A.C. was created to offer shelter, psychological care, legal advice, and other tools to help them move forward. Now, the organization is entering a new stage in its journey.
Under the leadership of its director and founder, Lilia Aurora Pacheco, Vida Integral para la Mujer is stepping away from government funding in order to offer free spiritual support to those seeking not only protection, but also a space where they can begin a normal life. This includes access to workshops that help them become financially self-sufficient—always with their hand in God’s.
This new approach, Lilia tells us, is being carried out through the mutual support and faith-based learning groups called “A Corazon Abierto” (With an Open Heart).
‘Believing in God’
But this work didn’t begin yesterday. It has been years of continuous effort by a visionary woman who, after overcoming thyroid cancer more than two decades ago, decided to devote herself to saving other women—following the example of her mother, Ofelia.
“She was a very brave woman, and the one who taught me to believe in God,” Lilia tells us.
Because of her mother, “I’m trying—through this shelter—to continue saving the lives of women, children, and even the community,” says the mother of one daughter and grandmother of two young children.
Shelter and External Center
Lilia explains that the shelter’s work consists of welcoming victims into a secure and confidential location—whether they arrive on their own or are referred by prosecutors’ offices, hospitals, churches, or any other institutions familiar with their work. They are also a part of the National Network of Shelters in Mexico.
The women they serve experience many forms of violence: physical, economic, psychological, and even obstetric violence, a type that only recently has begun to receive recognition.
Another key component of Vida Integral para la Mujer A.C. is its external community center, located in the Salvarcar neighborhood. It serves the broader community, offering support on a variety of issues—one of the most crucial being legal assistance. The center has lawyers available to provide follow-up and accompaniment in cases requiring legal guidance.
“By saving one life, you save a woman and her generations,” says Lilia. She also acknowledges that not every case ends in success—some women struggle to leave the abusive environments they’re in.
“As a woman, it’s frustrating to see that some women don’t value themselves—that you give them three or six months of your life, constantly—and if God is not there, they cannot come to understand on their own… Where God is not present, there are no solutions,” she says. Still, it’s the stories of success that keep her going.
For now, Lilia Pacheco continues her work for the well-being of women and their children, in this new stage under God’s care—who, she says, has been good and merciful to her.
“Without Him, we can do nothing,” she affirms, just as her mother taught her—along with the truth that she is a daughter of God.

Su fe en Dios, es su motor
Para Ramón, su fe en Dios es el motor que lo impulsa cada día y el fundamento sobre el cual ha edificado tanto su familia como su empresa.
Recientemente, en una charla con uno de sus hijos, le preguntó: ¿Qué crees que importa más, la fama o el dinero? él respondió con convicción: “Es mejor confiar en Dios, y lograrás todo en tú vida”. Esa respuesta refleja lo que Ramón ha sembrado: una vida guiada por la fe, con propósito y con identidad clara. Porque más allá del éxito empresarial, su verdadero legado es espiritual y humano.
Consejo para los hombres, cabeza del hogar
“A los padres, a los hombres que lideran un hogar: tengan identidad, no se confundan con lo que el mundo dicta. Tomen con valentía el lugar que les corresponde, no solo como proveedores, sino como líderes con propósito”, declaró.
Además, recomendó soñar en grande, pero con los pies en la tierra y el corazón puesto en las manos del Señor. Advirtió que no será fácil, pues habrá días de lucha, de dudas, de cansancio, pero todo es posible para él que cree.
“A su tiempo, todo llega. Y cuando llegue, entenderás que valió la pena poner toda tú confianza en Dios”, mencionó Chávez.

Recently, in a conversation with one of his sons, he asked him: “What do you think is more important, fame or money?” He replied with conviction: “It’s better to trust in God, and you will achieve everything in your life.” That answer reflects what Ramon has sown: a life guided by faith, with purpose and a clear identity. Because beyond business success, his true legacy is spiritual and human.
Advice for Men, Heads of the Household
“To fathers, to men who lead a home: have an identity, don’t be confused by what the world dictates. Courageously take your rightful place, not only as providers, but as purposeful leaders,” he declared.
He also recommended dreaming big, but with your feet on the ground and your heart placed in the hands of the Lord. He warned that it won’t be easy, as there will be days of struggle, doubt, and fatigue, but everything is possible for those who believe.
“In due time, everything comes. And when it comes, you’ll understand that it was worth it to put all your trust in God,” Chavez said.
