Ocho años después de haber tomado como estandarte la palabra de Dios y de comenzar un camino de arduo trabajo a favor de las mujeres de esta frontera, la licenciada Luz María Sotelo, directora de Mujeres Visionarias, inauguró las oficinas de su agrupación.
En pleno Día Internacional de la Mujer y rodeada de su familia, colaboradoras y amigos, la señora Sotelo por fin vio realizado uno de sus sueños, que había sido pospuesto debido a la contingencia sanitaria por el Covid-19.
Durante su discurso, además de agradecer a los asistentes habló de los tiempos difíciles por los que las mujeres de todo el mundo atravesamos y la misión que ella se ha propuesto para ayudarlas, no importando su edad.
“Mientras Dios nos dé vida, vamos a seguir trabajando para las mujeres”, aseguró frente al público presente, entre ellas la señora Alejandra Cabada, la diputada Marisela Sáenz, la regidora Silvina Sánchez, y su esposo Manuel Sotelo, quien se mostró orgulloso de la meta lograda este día.
“Mucho de lo que he hecho es gracias a ti (esposo)… gracias a mis hijas que les he robado su tiempo”, dijo la directora general de la revista Visionarias.
Sobre estas oficinas, aseguró que es un espacio de ayuda personalizada, donde las mujeres que necesiten de consejería psicológica y ayuda médica gratuita, podrán acceder sin problema, incluso mujeres embarazadas en busca de una oportunidad para sus hijos en cuestión de adopción lo podrán hacer.
“Nuestra misión es hacer una conciencia colectiva, desde el hogar crear una mejor sociedad y familias consolidadas”, aseguró.
Tras sus palabras y las de Alejandra Cabada, Sotelo reconoció el trabajo de sus colaboradoras, quienes han estado al pie del cañón en la elaboración de la revista y en todos los proyectos en los que ha emprendido, entre ellos la Campaña por la Familia.
Luego vino el corte del listón y un recorrido por las instalaciones del lugar, donde ofreció bocadillos y regalos a los asistentes.
Al concluir la celebración, la señora Sotelo se dijo “muy feliz y agradecida con Dios por proporcionarnos este espacio”, por el que aseguró haber orado mucho y que ahora, al tenerlo, le provocaba “compromiso y satisfacción”. “Aquí estamos para ayudar”, mencionó.
Sobre el legado que está construyendo esta mujer visionaria, Manuel Sotelo dijo que “Dios está detrás de su misión”, la cual comenzó hace años cuando ella escuchó el mensaje del Señor que le pedía hacer algo por las mujeres, por lo que él no dudó en apoyar la iniciativa.
“Es una persona entregada a Dios, es una persona que tiene un hambre tremenda por sus semejantes y que yo respeto y admiro mucho”, concluyó el empresario, que cree firmemente en que “si cambiamos a una mujer, cambiamos a una familia”.
La invitación para acudir al centro de ayuda de Visionarias quedó hecha por la creadora del concepto, la ubicación es calle Lexus No.2220, en el fraccionamiento El Marquis.

The mission has just begun
Eight years after taking the God’s Word as her banner and beginning a path of hard work on behalf of the women of this border, Luz Maria Sotelo, director of Mujeres Visionarias, inaugurated the offices of her group.
In the framework of International Women’s Day and surrounded by her family, collaborators and friends, Mrs. Sotelo finally saw one of her dreams come true, which had been postponed due to the Covid-19 health contingency.
During her speech, besides thanking the attendees, she spoke about the difficult times that women all over the world are going through and the mission she has set herself to help them, no matter their age.
“As long as God gives us life, we will continue working for women,” she assured to the audience present, among them Mrs. Alejandra Cabada, Congresswoman Marisela Saenz, City Council Silvina Sanchez, and her husband Manuel Sotelo, who was proud of the goal achieved this day.
“Much of what I have done is thanks to you (husband), thanks to my daughters that I have stolen their time,” said the CEO of Visionarias magazine.
About these offices, she assured that it’s a space for personalized help, where women in need of psychological counseling and free medical help, will be able to access without problem, even pregnant women looking for an opportunity for their children in terms of adoption will be able to do so.
“Our mission is to create a collective conscience to create a better society and consolidated families”, she assured.
After her words and Alejandra Cabada’s, Sotelo recognized her collaborators’ work, who have been at the forefront in the elaboration of the magazine and in all the projects she has undertaken, among them the Campaign for the Family.
Then came the cutting of the ribbon and a tour of the facilities, where she offered snacks and gifts to the attendees.
At the end of the celebration, Mrs. Sotelo said she was “very happy and grateful to God for providing us with this space”, for which she said she had prayed a lot and that now, having it, gave her “commitment and satisfaction”. “Here we are to help,” she mentioned.
About the legacy being built by this visionary woman, Manuel Sotelo said that “God is behind her mission,” which began years ago when she heard the Lord’s message asking her to do something for women, so he did not hesitate to support the initiative.
“She is a person dedicated to God, she’s a person who has a tremendous hunger for her fellow men and women and whom I respect and admire very much”, concluded the businessman, who firmly believes that “if we change a woman, we change a family”.
