La libertad religiosa es fundamental en nuestro país, donde en algunas partes ser cristiano constituye un delito
Los cristianos estamos sufriendo una serie de graves ataques contra nuestros sentimientos religiosos, creencias y contra nuestro derecho fundamental a la libertad religiosa.
Se han registrado numerosos actos de hostilidad, violencia y vandalismo contra los cristianos y sus lugares de culto en los últimos años. Actos que, a menudo, son ignorados por las autoridades y que en ocasiones han sido amparados hasta por los propios poderes públicos.
No es una exageración asegurar que ser cristiano constituye un delito en algunas partes del país, donde los partidos de izquierda han mostrado una evidente intolerancia hacia la libertad de creencias.
La libertad religiosa es un derecho fundamental y así lo reconoce la Constitución; también nos ampara el Artículo 18 de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos y tratados como el Pacto Internacional de Derechos Civiles y Políticos.
Libertad de conciencia
La relación entre la religión y el Estado ha sido compleja históricamente. Por ello, en México prevalece el derecho a la libertad de conciencia con una regulación detallada sobre lo que es la laicidad del Estado.
Las libertades de conciencia y de religión están protegidas por varios artículos de la Constitución y se contemplan también en diversos instrumentos internacionales como el artículo 18 del Pacto Internacional de Derechos Civiles y Políticos y el artículo 12 de la Convención Americana sobre Derechos Humanos.
La Suprema Corte se ha pronunciado sobre el derecho a la libertad religiosa en muy pocas ocasiones. En estos asuntos la Corte ha perfilado la manera en la que debe interpretarse este derecho, así como sus límites y su relación con otros derechos.
Sin embargo, la intolerancia no afecta sólo a grupos minoritarios sino también a los mayoritarios.
Asimismo, la tutela de los sentimientos y creencias religiosas están recogidas en varios artículos, imponiendo penas de hasta un año de prisión a los que vulneren este derecho fundamental.
Lo que la ley protege, el hombre parece −neciamente− negar por lo que se ha luchado a lo largo del conocimiento de Jesús, como Rey y Señor de esta tierra.

It is not an exaggeration to say that being a Christian constitutes a crime in some parts of the country, where the left-wing parties have shown an evident intolerance towards freedom of belief.
Religious freedom is a fundamental right recognized by the Constitution; we are also protected by Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and by treaties such as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
Freedom of conscience
The relationship between religion and the State has historically been complex. For this reason, in Mexico, the right to freedom of conscience prevails with a detailed regulation on the secularity of the State.
Several articles of the Constitution protect the freedoms of conscience and religion and are also contemplated in various international instruments, such as Article 18 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Article 12 of the American Convention on Human Rights.
The Supreme Court has ruled on the right to religious freedom on very few occasions. In these cases, the Court has outlined how this right should be interpreted, its limits and its relationship with other rights.
However, intolerance affects not only minority groups but also majority groups.
Likewise, the protection of religious feelings and beliefs is included in several articles, imposing penalties of up to one year’s imprisonment for those who violate this fundamental right.
What the law protects, the man seems -needlessly- to deny what has been fought for throughout the knowledge of Jesus as King and Lord of this earth.
