Disfruta estos días mientras crece tu adoración hacia Dios
Aunque para muchas personas la palabra “verano” les sabe a viajes, descanso, calorcito y todos aquello que signifique libertad, para mí siempre fue una palabra que traía un pequeño nivel de desesperación a mi corazón, pues cuando no tenía que ir a la escuela a diario, no tenía tareas o exámenes para los cuales estudiar, mi mente se volvía ociosa y no sabía que hacer con tanto tiempo libre en mis manos.
Unos días aprendía recetas nuevas, otros me ponía a leer libros, quería estar en las redes sociales, viendo Netflix o ir a una playita, pero siempre quedaba con un sentimiento de insatisfacción.
Es como si mi vida espiritual también se hubiese ido de vacaciones junto con mis preocupaciones escolares. Cada día de verano que pasaba me sentía más insatisfecha, necesitaba más y fue así como me di cuenta de que mi vida espiritual y mi relación con Dios, se había vuelto algo monótono, una tarea diaria más.
Se había convertido en sólo una ventanilla la cual tenía que marcar con una “palomita” y decir “¡terminado!”, sin embargo, aprendí que no es así.
Como en cualquier relación se requiere inversión de tiempo y dedicación. Fue ese momento en que decidí reforzar aquella unión con Jesucristo mi Dios, que había descuidado tanto.
Empecé a leer más mi Biblia, a orar diariamente, y a agradecer al Creador aún por las cosas más mínimas, como el aire acondicionado en un día caluroso o un vaso de agua fría. El recordar y leer diariamente la Palabra de Dios, me ayudó a ver el verano cómo algo hermoso, tan maravilloso.
Es un tiempo de quietud, que se puede usar como una gran oportunidad para buscar belleza en todo lo que él ha creado. Esta nueva mentalidad trajo sentido de inmensa gratitud a mi vida, la mejor actitud que cualquier ser humano puede tener para así poder ver la vida a través de un lente más bonito.
Trajo una satisfacción que nada pudo haberlo llenado antes.
Te cuento esto, porque sé que es muy fácil distraernos en esta vida, y olvidar los detalles más pequeños que la hacen tan bonita y agradable si mantenemos un corazón agradecido.
Así que el día de hoy quiero motivarte a que intentes ver la mano de Dios, sobre todo, aún en los mínimos detalles que te topes. Por ejemplo, si este verano estás en la playa, agradécele a Dios por el agua que sólo llega hasta cierto lugar de la arena y no más allá, o si estas en casita, agradécele a Dios por el techo que te ha dado, el cual te protege del gran calor de afuera.
Donde sea que estés, siempre hay algo por lo cual agradecer, y estos pequeños detalles te llevaran a mantener una actitud más gozosa. Te recomiendo que, si tienes una Biblia la leas, y si no tienes una, ¡ya existen aplicaciones en el celular en las cuales la puedes leer!
Que genial es la tecnología ¿no lo crees? De ella aprenderás muchísimo y transformará tu vida, al tiempo que te enseñará a tener una actitud agradecida hacia Dios, la cual reflejarás con una gran alegría hacia todo.

Summer and my spiritual life
Enjoy these days as you grow in your worship of God
Although for many people, the word “summer” tastes like travel, rest, warmth and everything that means freedom, for me, it was always a word that brought a trim level of despair to my heart because when I did not have to go to school every day, I did not have homework or exams to study for, my mind became idle, and I did not know what to do with so much free time on my hands.
Some days I would learn new recipes, others, I would read books, I wanted to be on social media, watch Netflix or go to a beach, but I was always left with a feeling of dissatisfaction.
It was as if my spiritual life had also gone on vacation, along with my school worries. With each summer day, I felt more dissatisfied; I needed more, so I realized that my spiritual life and relationship with God had become monotonous, just another daily chore.
It had become just a window that I had to mark with a “checkmark” and say “finished!”; however, I learned that this is not the case.
As in any relationship, it requires an investment of time and dedication. At that moment, I decided to strengthen that union with Jesus Christ, my God, which I had neglected so much.
I began to read my Bible more, to pray daily, and to thank the Creator for even the most minor things, such as air conditioning on a hot day or a glass of cold water. Remembering and reading God’s Word daily helped me see summer as something beautiful and wonderful.
It is a time of stillness, which can be an excellent opportunity to look for beauty in all He has created. This new mindset brought a sense of immense gratitude into my life, the best attitude any human being can have to see life through a more beautiful lens.
It brought satisfaction that nothing could have filled before.
I tell you this because I know it is straightforward to get distracted in this life and forget the minor details that make it so beautiful and enjoyable if we keep a grateful heart.
So today, I want to encourage you to try to see God’s hand, especially in the minor details you encounter. For example, if you are at the beach this summer, thank God for the water that only reaches a particular place on the sand and no further, or if you are at home, thank God for the roof He has given you, which protects you from the incredible heat outside.
There is always something to be thankful for wherever you are, and these little details will lead you to maintain a more joyful attitude. I recommend that if you have a Bible, read it; if you don’t have one, there are already apps on your cell phone where you can read it!
How great is technology? You will learn so much from it, and it will transform your life while teaching you to have a grateful attitude toward God, which you will reflect with great joy towards everything.
