Todo lo que se hace como pareja es un mandato divino
“Y todo lo que hagan o digan, háganlo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios el Padre por medio de él”
Colosenses 3:17
La visión de la mujer en cuanto al trabajo ha de alinearse con el creador de la vida y su palabra.
Primero porque se tienen ideas del mundo, tradición, costumbre, cultura y religión que en algunas ocasiones están muy lejos de la voluntad de Dios.
Ejemplo de lo anterior es el menosprecio al trabajo que se hace en la casa, el cual no se valora y se cree, errónemente, que sólo la mujer es responsable de llevarlo a cabo, mientras los demás simplemente “ayudan”, sin embargo, la participación de cónyuge e hijos debe ser responsable.
Por otro lado, el debate es, si la mujer puede o debe trabajar fuera de casa y aunque no tenemos el espacio suficiente para profundizar, trataremos algunos puntos.
1. No toda mujer tiene que trabajar fuera. Sobre todo si no tiene clara la voluntad de Dios para su vida.
2. No es trabajar por trabajar. Puede ser por aburrimiento o realización personal. Cualquiera que sea el caso se debe pedir en oración la guía del Espíritu Santo.
3. Evaluar si se tiene la preparación y experiencia para atender éstas dos áreas que son muy demandantes.
4. Tener un acuerdo sano con el esposo e hijos si va a compartir su tiempo y vida hacia afuera
5. Si es urgente y necesario trabajar fuera, pedir la guía y fortaleza del Señor para poder cumplir ambos compromisos.
Puede haber otros factores que influyan en ésta decisión, pero lo más importante es agradar a Dios, con la buena actitud de servicio donde él nos ponga.
Todo lo que hagan es un mandato divino y claro que al depender de él vendrá la fuerza y sabiduría para hacerlo con amor.
Work and marriage
Everything that is done as a couple is a divine mandate.
“And whatever you do or say, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:17
The woman’s vision of work has to be aligned with the creator of life and his word.
First, we have ideas of the world, traditions, customs, culture and religion that sometimes are far from the will of God.
An example of this is the disdain for the work done in the house, which is not valued, and it is mistakenly believed that only the woman is responsible for carrying it out, while the others simply “help”; however, the participation of spouse and children should be accountable.
On the other hand, the debate is whether women can or should work outside the home, and although we need more space to go into it in depth, we will address some points.
Not every woman has to work outside the home, especially if she is unclear about God’s will for her life.
2. It does not work for the sake of work. It can be for boredom or personal fulfillment. Whatever the case, one should prayerfully ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
3. Evaluate if you have the preparation and experience to care for these two very demanding areas.
4. Have a healthy agreement with your spouse and children if you share your time and life outwardly.
5. If working outside is urgent and necessary, ask for the Lord’s guidance and strength to fulfill both commitments.
Other factors may influence this decision, but the most important thing is to please God with a good service attitude wherever He places us.
Everything you do is a divine mandate, and it is clear that by depending on him will come to the strength and wisdom to do it with love.
