Cuando pienso en el diseño de Dios para mi hogar, inmediatamente visualizo una edificación de la cual yo soy la constructora y él es el arquitecto. El hogar es la fuente de todo. Es mi mayor asignación en el reino de Dios, aunque no es la única. Cada diseño en nuestro hogar es especial y debe tener principios y valores de acuerdo con la palabra de Dios. Para mí, algunos de esos principios son: amor incondicional, respeto y honor.

Es importante que amemos a nuestros esposos e hijos incondicionalmente, no tanto por lo que podamos obtener de ellos, sino por quienes son. Ellos representan nuestro más preciado regalo directamente dado por el Señor, por esta razón, todo lo que hacemos siempre en nuestro hogar tiene la base del amor y así, podremos ser más sensibles unos con otros.
Siempre ha llamado mi atención que aunque Dios le asigna una responsabilidad diferente al hombre y a la mujer en el Reino de Dios, él también nos dice a nosotras que ellos serán ganados por nuestras conductas.
Así lo establece 1 de Pedro 3:1 “Asimismo vosotras, mujeres, estad sujetas a vuestros maridos, de modo que si algunos de ellos son desobedientes a la palabra, puedan ser ganados sin palabra alguna por la conducta de sus mujeres”.
Esto nos da gran responsabilidad a nosotras, y todo inicia con el amor igualmente hacia nuestros hijos. Ellos necesitan a sus padres para después poder modelar lo enseñado en sus propias familias.
La manera de Dios es establecer y multiplicar su reino a través de la familia, y lo hace porque es un Dios que construye generacionalmente.
Cada una de nosotras somos constructoras de nuestros hogares y estamos edificando junto con Dios nuestras familias. En el hogar debemos servir con amor, construir sus bases con respeto, así como identificar y honrar los dones de cada miembro de la familia.
Si construimos familias fuertes, tendremos generaciones que continuarán edificando el Reino de Dios de una manera continua.
Es imperativo hoy más que nunca que nos enfoquemos en construir hogares conforme al diseño de Dios. Te invito a que tomes tus herramientas y equipo de construcción para que empieces a edificar tu familia a la manera de Dios. Mi deseo es que seas bendecida y fortalecida en él. ¡Vamos a edificar hogares fuertes!

God’s design for my home
When I think in God’s design for my home, I immediately visualize a building in which I’m the builder and He is the architect. Home is the source of everything. It’s my greatest assignment in God’s kingdom, although isn’t the only one. Each design in our home is special and must have principles and values according to God’s Word. For me, some of those principles are: unconditional love, respect and honor.
It’s important that we love our husbands and children unconditionally, not so much for what we can get from them, but for who they are. They represent our most precious gift directly given by the Lord, for this reason, everything we always do in our home is based on love and thus, we can be more sensitive to each other.
It has always caught my attention that although God assigns a different responsibility to men and women in his Kingdom, he also tells us that they will be won by our behaviors. This is stated in 1 Peter 3: 1 “Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives”.
This gives us a great responsibility, and all this starts with love equally for our children. They need their parents so that later they can model what has been taught in their own families.
God’s way to establish and multiply his kingdom is through the family, and he does it because he’s a God who builds generationally.
Each of us is its own homebuilder and we are building our families together wiTh God. At home we must serve with love, build our foundations with respect, as well as identify and honor the gifts of each member of the family.
If we build strong families, we will have generations that will continue to build God’s Kingdom in a continuous way.
Today it’s imperative more than ever to focus on building homes according to God’s design. I invite you to take your tools and construction equipment so you can begin to build your family in God’s way. My wish is that you be blessed and strengthened in it. Let’s build strong homes!
