Estamos en el mes de las festividades más especiales del año, cuando viene a nuestra mente una sencilla e importante pregunta, ¿dónde vamos a pasar estas fechas?
Si hiciéramos una encuesta a algunos matrimonios, nos sorprenderíamos de las respuestas que obtendríamos, pues algunas serían realidad y otras lo que a alguno de los dos le gustaría que fuera.
Quizá entre las respuestas nos encontraríamos con viajar, una actividad que muchos anhelan, sobre todo ahora que debido a la pandemia existen restricciones. Se preguntarían si dentro o fuera del país, ir a un lugar frío o caluroso, o si lo harían solos o en compañía, elecciones que a muchos no estresarían, pues lo importante sería viajar.
También están los que podrían pensar en que es mejor quedarse en la ciudad, en un buen restaurante a la luz de las velas y cenando un delicioso platillo; mientras que otros cuantos simplemente responderían que lo importante es reunirse con las familias.
Sin embargo, hay matrimonios que al preguntarse ¿dónde pasaremos estas fechas? concluirían que no es tiempo de viajar, ni de ir a un restaurante o visitar a otras familias, sino que es hora de permanecer en casa con los tuyos, con los que tanto amas, con los hijos.
Es tiempo de cuidarse y cuidar a los demás, de estar juntos en familia, reflexionando acerca del verdadero motivo de la Navidad y la importancia de Jesucristo.
Es momento de que en estas noches tan especiales enseñemos a nuestros hijos que Jesucristo puede nacer en sus corazones si le aceptamos como salvador y Señor, y que en este Año Nuevo se puede iniciar con un nuevo corazón perdonado y transformado.
Ahora es cuando debemos estar en su presencia, alabando y aprendiendo de él.

Where to spend these days?
We are in the month of the most special festivities of the year, when a simple and important question comes to our mind, where are we going to spend these days?
If we were to survey some couples, we would be surprised by the answers we would get, as some would be reality and others what one of us would like it to be.
Perhaps among the answers we would find travel, an activity that many people long for, especially now that there are restrictions due to the pandemic. They would ask themselves if inside or outside the country, going to a cold or hot place, or if they would do it alone or with company, choices that many would not stress about, because the important thing would be to travel.
There are also those who might think that it is better to stay in the city, in a good restaurant by candlelight and having a delicious meal; while a few others would simply respond that the important thing is to reunite with families.
However, there are couples who, when they ask themselves where will we spend these dates, would conclude that it is not time to travel, nor to go to a restaurant or visit other families, but that it is time to stay at home with your loved ones, with your children.
It is time to take care of yourself and others, to be together as a family, reflecting on the true reason for Christmas and the importance of Jesus Christ.
It is time that on these special nights we teach our children that Jesus Christ can be born in their hearts if we accept Him as Savior and Lord, and that in this New Year they can begin with a new heart that is forgiven and transformed.
Now is when we should be in His presence, praising and learning from Him.
