Una de mis escrituras favoritas es Juan 17:3 que dice “Esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo a quien has enviado”.
Tal vez muchos de nosotros leemos la Biblia para saber qué es lo que debo hacer o cómo debo comportarme, sin embargo, no debemos olvidar que el enfoque principal en nuestra relación con Dios, debe ser siempre la conducta, y recordar que si bien, el hacer cosas buenas es importante, no necesariamente es lo fundamental.
Tras lo anterior, debo decir que mi vida fue revolucionada cuando entendí que cualquier relación de verdadero amor y amistad no es el hacer, sino el de conocer y que las acciones fluyen de la intimidad que existe, y no viceversa.
Pablo oraba en Efesios 1:17, “Para que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el Padre de gloria, le dé espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación en el conocimiento de él”.
“Podremos hacer muchas cosas, servir y hacer muchas buenas obras (sin conocerle) pero sólo cuando conocemos a Dios, nuestra vida es revolucionada, cambiada, transformada. El verdadero propósito de la venida, muerte y resurrección de Jesús fue para que lo conociéramos, para tener comunión íntima con él y entonces sí, caminar en las obras que él preparó para que andemos en ellas”. Efesios 2:10.
Te invito a que lo conozcas para que experimentes una maravillosa revolución en tu vida y así tú perspectiva de la vida cambiará.
When Jesus revolutionizes your life
One of my favorite scriptures is John 17: 3 which says “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent”.
Perhaps many of us read the Bible to know what should do or how should behave, however, we must not forget that the main focus in our relationship with God must always be conduct, and remember that although doing good things is important, it is not necessarily fundamental.
After the above, I must say that my life was revolutionized when I understood that any relationship of true love and friendship is not doing, but knowing and that actions flow from the intimacy that exists, and not vice versa.
Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:17, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him”.
“We can do many things, serve and do many good works (without knowing him) but only when we know God, our life is revolutionized, changed, transformed. The true purpose of the coming, death and resurrection of Jesus was so that we would know him, to have intimate communion with him and then to walk in the works that he prepared for us to walk in them”. Ephesians 2:10.
I invite you to meet him so that you experience a wonderful revolution in your life and thus your perspective on life will change.
