Cuando nuestros hijos nacen vienen con ellos un sin número de sueños, planes y proyectos en los cuales ellos son los protagonistas, e incluso mientras crecen les vamos colocando etiquetas tales como: mi pequeño doctor, cantante, ingeniero, y otras que reflejan lo que nuestro corazón anhela y espera de ellos.
Sin embargo a medida que crecen vemos que desarrollan sus propias habilidades y destrezas, las cuales muchas veces no concuerdan con nuestras expectativas, y es ahí donde nuestro rol como padres debe consistir en instruirlos en el fundamento bíblico y alentarlos a seguir adelante, aún cuando el camino no sea fácil.
El versículo que cité al principio es de mis versos favoritos, ya que usa el sustantivo “valiente” para recordarte que Dios ha puesto la vida de sus hijos en tus manos para impulsarlos hacia un objetivo claro.
Valiente es aquel que actúa con valor y determinación ante situaciones arriesgadas o difíciles, y sabemos que ser padres requiere todos los días de grandes dosis de valentía.
En medio de una sociedad que ha olvidado esto, nosotros como hijos de Dios tenemos un llamado a instruir desde pequeños a nuestros hijos para la vida con una identidad clara, con principios establecidos por la palabra de Dios, resaltando y desarrollando sus habilidades, para que al crecer haya claridad en sus corazones con respecto a su capacidades, dones y talentos.
El problema de muchos jóvenes hoy día es que llegan a la edad adulta y aún no saben en qué son buenos, cuáles son sus habilidades; se la han pasado estudiando sólo por calificaciones, llegan a la adultez llenos de dudas en cuanto a su potencial, y todo esto debido a la ausencia de los padres, quienes han delegado su labor a las instituciones y la iglesia, haciéndose a un lado, dejando un gran espacio vacío en el corazón de los hijos con respecto a su formación.
¿Cómo inspirar a tus hijos en una carrera?, con la palabra de Dios, con tu apoyo, tu tiempo, escúchalo, obsérvalo, invierte en su educación, prepárate para todas las dudas que tenga, ámalo y muéstrale el camino, más que con palabras con tu ejemplo.
Entonces, ¿cuándo es el momento para empezar? Desde que nacen tú eres el maestro principal asignado por Dios a la tarea de educar a los hijos, eres su guía y su mejor ejemplo. Enséñalos, corrígelos, disciplínalos, prepáralos para decidir y escoger su futuro sabiamente.

How to inspire children to pursue a professional career?
When our children are born, they come with a number of dreams, plans and projects in which they are the protagonists, and even as they grow we use labels such as: my little doctor, singer, engineer, and others that reflect what our heart yearns and waits for them.
However as we grow older we see them develop their own abilities and skills, which often do not match our expectations, and this is where our role as parents should be to instruct them in the biblical foundation and encourage them to keep going, even when the way is not easy.
The verse I quoted at the beginning is from my favorite verses, as it uses the noun “brave” to remind you that God has put your children lives in your hands to propel them toward a clear goal.
Brave is one who acts with courage and determination in risky or difficult situations, and we know that being a parent requires courage every day.
In the midst of a society that has forgotten this, we as God’s children have a call to instruct our children for life with a clear identity, with principles established by God’s Word, highlighting and developing their skills, so that as they grow there is clarity in their hearts regarding their abilities, gifts and talents.
The problem for many young people today is that they reach adulthood and still don’t know what they are good at, what their skills are; they have spent studying only for grades, they reach adulthood full of doubts about to their potential, and all this due to the absence of the parents, who have delegated their work to the institutions and the church, standing aside, leaving a large empty space in the hearts of the children regarding their formation.
How to inspire your children in a career? With the God’s Word, with your support, your time, listen to it, observe it, investing in its education, preparing yourself for all the doubts you have, loving it and showing it the way, more than with words with your example.
So when is the time to start? From birth you are the main teacher assigned by God to the task of raising children, you are their guide and their best example. Teach them, correct them, discipline them, prepare them to decide and choose their future wisely.
