Dios hizo a las mujeres con características especiales. La mujer virtuosa que aparece en el libro de Proverbios 31:10-31, no sólo se ocupa de su casa, su esposo e hijos, sino que también desarrolla otras actividades e intereses. Ella es administradora, mujer emprendedora, sabia para tomar decisiones, ejerce mayordomía, planifica y organiza bien su trabajo.
Muchas mujeres latinoamericanas, tienen inquietudes y anhelos que quieren desarrollar, pero les da miedo emprender por múltiples razones, la gran mayoría, son cosas que no son verdad. En este artículo nos vamos a enfocar en algunas ideas para poder comenzar a emprender.
Tratar de hacer algo sin las habilidades o herramientas necesarias es como cortar madera con un hacha sin filo (como dice el pasaje inicial). Si una herramienta está desafilada, uno debe afilarla para poder trabajar mejor. De manera similar, si nos faltan habilidades, debemos afilarnos por medio de la capacitación y la práctica.
Cinco pautas para comenzar a emprender
1. Elige un área que te gusta o interesa: Identifica tres talentos o habilidades y decídete a desarrollarlos. Todos los seres humanos tenemos fortalezas. Todos en algo somos mejores que los demás, pero con poca frecuencia utilizamos esas fortalezas en las actividades que desempeñamos.
2. No tomes decisiones apresuradas: Una fortaleza no es solamente aquello que hacemos bien, es aquello que nos hace sentir fuertes. Todos tenemos el instinto para reconocer cuáles son aquellas cosas que nos hacen vibrar. Ahora trata de empatar esa fortaleza con un problema que puedas resolver. Son los problemas que resolvemos los que determinan el valor que le damos a la sociedad.
3. Busca consejo sabio: Busca el consejo de personas temerosas de Dios y expertas en su campo cuando necesites tomar decisiones de negocios. La buena noticia es que cuando pides un consejo a alguien casi sin dudarlo te lo va a dar, y lo mejor de todo, no te va a costar.
4. Conviértete en una experta en tu área: Invierte gran parte de tu tiempo en actividades donde utilizas tus fortalezas. Cuando nos enfocamos en nuestras fortalezas, estamos hablando de retarnos a ser mejores en lo que ya somos buenos. Busca proyectos y tareas donde puedas ejercitar y desarrollar tus fortalezas.
5. Haz un Plan de Negocios: Desarrollar un plan de trabajo para tu negocio te ayudará a estar enfocado, tomar decisiones correctas y en última instancia a tener éxito. Un plan de negocio consta de tres partes fundamentales:
a) Visión, cómo se verá tu negocio.
b) Plan financiero, sacar números para ver si tiene viabilidad.
c) Pasos de acción, una guía paso por paso de quién hará qué, y para cuándo.
Muchas personas son tentadas a saltarse el plan de negocio. En su entusiasmo prefieren simplemente meterse de lleno y comenzar sin una buena investigación y sin tomarse el tiempo para determinar si su sueño es una posibilidad actual.
En cada situación, afilar el hacha significa reconocer dónde hay un problema u oportunidad, adquirir o pulir las habilidades (o herramientas) para hacer un mejor trabajo, y luego salir y llevarlo a cabo. Encuentra los aspectos de tu vida en dónde tu “hacha” no tiene filo, y afílala para que puedas ser más eficaz al emprender.

God made women with unique characteristics. The virtuous woman who appears in the book of Proverbs 31:10-31 not only takes care of her house, her husband, and children, but she also develops other activities and interests. She is an administrator, an enterprising woman, wise to make decisions, exercises stewardship, plans, and organizes her work well.
Many Latin American women have concerns and desires that they want to develop, but they are afraid to undertake them for multiple reasons; the vast majority are not valid. In this article, we are going to focus on some ideas to be able to start undertaking.
Trying to do something without the necessary skills or tools is like cutting wood with a dull ax (as the opening passage says). If a device is dull, one must sharpen it to work better. Similarly, if we lack skills, we must sharpen ourselves through training and practice.
Five guidelines to start an entrepreneur
Choose an area that you like or interest in: Identify three talents or abilities and decide to develop them. All human beings have strengths. We are all better at something than others, but we seldom use those strengths in our activities.
Don’t make hasty decisions: A strength ly what we do well and what makes us feel strong. We all have the instinct to recognize what are those things that make us vibrate. Now try to match that strength with a problem that you can solve. It is the problems we solve that determine the value we place on society.
Seek wise advice: Seek the advice of God-fearing people and experts in their field when you need to make business decisions. The good news is that when you ask someone for advice almost without hesitation, they will give it to you, and best of all, it will not cost you.
Become an expert in your area: Invest your time in activities where you use your strengths. When we focus on our strengths, we challenge ourselves to be better at what we are already good at. Look for projects and tasks where you can exercise and develop your strengths.
Make a Business Plan: Developing a roadmap for your business will help you stay focused, make the right decisions, and ultimately succeed. A business plan consists of three fundamental parts: 1. Vision, how your business will look. 2. Financial plan, draw numbers to see if it has viability. 3. Action steps, a step-by-step guide of who will do what, and by when.
Many people are tempted to skip the business plan. In their enthusiasm, they prefer just to dive right in and start without good research and without taking the time to determine if their dream is a current possibility.
In every situation, sharpening the ax means recognizing a problem or opportunity, acquiring or honing the skills (or tools) to do a better job, and then going out and doing it. Find the aspects of your life where your “ax” is dull, and sharpen it so that you can be more effective when undertaking.
