La Biblia no define explícitamente el concepto de mujer independiente en el sentido moderno y no promueve la independencia en el sentido de separarse de Dios, nos dice que él nos hace libres para ejercer nuestro rol de mujeres desarrollando nuestro máximo potencial y dones respetando la ley y los principios de su palabra.
Buscando un libro que hable sobre la independencia de la mujer y platicando con una amiga muy especial, me sugirió un título que ha llegado a mis manos como providencia de Dios, se llama “Come la galleta… compra los zapatos”.
Es un título extraordinario para nada superficial y lleno de consejos, escrito por Joyce Meyer, que nos ayuda a ser mujeres libres, a celebrar la vida, aprender a tomar decisiones, hacer cambios significativos que nos permitan mejorar, siendo libres de culpa y temor para poder reconocer el gran valor que como mujeres Dios nos ha dado.
En este libro aprenderemos a cómo poner límites en nuestra vida para dirigirla de manera saludable y feliz en el poder del Espíritu Santo y su palabra.
Deseo que cada mujer sea muy bendecida al leer este libro lleno de consejos sabios, útiles para renovarse y tomar la vida de una manera mas ligera siendo libres y logrando nuestro máximo potencial como mujeres empoderadas.
Recuerda que para experimentar independencia hay que experimentar la libertad y libertad implica no ser esclavas, estar libres de ataduras, actitudes, experiencias negativas del pasado, de adicciones y otras muchas cosas que nos mantengan en un estado de esclavitud ya sea, espiritual, físico o mental.

Remember, to experience independence, we must experience freedom, and freedom means not being slaves—being free from bonds, attitudes, negative past experiences, addictions, and many other things that keep us in a state of slavery, whether spiritual, physical, or mental.
