Las abogadas Agustina Balcazar Romero y Ana Griselda González Torres, laboran en el despacho jurídico CGBG “Balcázar, abogados y asociados”, oficina que atiende asuntos legales, a través de asesorías con personal profesional en materia jurídica del área Familiar, Penal, Civil y laboral, siempre basado en valores de honradez y compromiso hacia sus clientes. Ambas forman parte de la asociación de mujeres independientes.
Su historia profesional y personal
La licenciada Agustina Balcazar Romero, es originaria de Agua Dulce, Veracruz, quien se autodenomina “un milagro de la vida”, pues a los 9 meses de edad fue desahuciada, sin embargo, pese a los pronósticos logró sobrevivir.
Agustina llegó hace 25 años a Ciudad Juárez, aquí comenzó a trabajar para comprar un carro, con el fin de transportarse a la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), en donde estudió la Licenciatura en Derecho. La abogada está felizmente casada, y es madre de dos hermosos hijos, Yarlei y Jordy.
La maestra Ana Griselda González, nació en Ciudad Juárez; es licenciada en Derecho, con maestría en Derechos Humanos y Perspectiva de Género, es Ingeniería en Manufactura, y tiene un diplomado en Educación, es egresada de la máxima casa de estudios, UACJ.
Tiene 12 años de labor en el servicio público en Instituciones Gubernamentales de Procuración de Justicia, y 20 años en la Industria Maquiladora, en el área de Ingeniería y Planeación de Procesos. Así como 5 años en la docencia en diversas universidades de la localidad, impartiendo clases en Licenciatura y Maestría, en la materia de Derecho; así como, es conferencista en prevención de violencia familiar. Además, es madre de dos hijos, Ana Paola Rodríguez, médica odontóloga y Alonso Alejandro, que concluyó el sexto grado de primaria, quienes dijo son su motivación para seguir trabajando con profesionalismo y ética, mismos valores que son su carta de presentación.
Lo mejor de ser mujer
Lo mejor de ser mujer, dijo Agustina ha sido la posibilidad de crear vida con su pareja, con el favor de Dios. Así como la oportunidad de poder apoyar a las mujeres en sus procesos legales de separación y comprender su aflicción en un momento tan complicando de sus vidas.
En tanto que, Ana Griselda comentó que “para mi ser mujer es un orgullo y más allá de la posibilidad de dar vida, si no de crear, construir, colaborar y aportar al desarrollo en todos los ámbitos”.
Retos en sus carreras
La maestra González señaló que para ella, los retos más grandes han sido enfrentar nuevos desafíos, en los delitos de violencia familiar, donde los más afectados son los hijos e hijas, dando lugar a la violencia vicaria, así como, la gran descomposición social que esto implica. “Mi Carrera profesional es mi pasión y cuando algo te apasiona no hay cansancio para exigir justicia, ya que sin justicia no hay paz”.
Para la abogada Balcazar el mayor reto fue actualizarse, al concluir la carrera de derecho en el 2011, con el sistema tradicional en materia familiar, pero inició a litigar hasta principios del 2019, cuando ya se encontraba vigente el sistema por oralidad. Sin embargo, le apasiona estudiar, estar al pendiente de las últimas jurisprudencias y así poder apoyar a sus clientes.
Actualmente, Agustina pertenece al Colegio de Abogadas de Ciudad Juárez, “para mí es un honor pertenecer a tan distinguido colegio, lleno de mujeres letradas e instruidas en las diferentes áreas del derecho, lo cual me permite estar actualizada en temas Jurídicos”.
En el día a día, la profesionista debe tratar con los sentimientos de coraje y resentimiento que tienen los clientes al momento de una separación; sin embargo, dijo “es muy grato darles tranquilidad y hacerles comprender que lo más importante es que la persona esté bien y sus hijos estén mejor”.
Equilibrar la vida personal y laboral
Agustina declaró que “con amor a Dios, con valores, reglas y disciplina y mucha perseverancia, eso lo aplico tanto en mi trabajo, como en mi hogar”, ha logrado equilibrar tanto su vida personal, como profesional.
Se encomiendan a Dios en cada juicio
Para Agustina y su familia Dios es lo más importante, cada día le da gracias por las bendiciones recibidas y antes de cada juicio se encomienda a él, para que le dé la sabiduría de poder llevar el juicio, pues aseguró siempre ha estado presente en su vida.
Mientras que, para la maestra González “la familia está en el centro del Plan de Dios para la Felicidad y el progreso de nuestros hijos e hijas”, mencionó.
Ser mujer visionaria
Una mujer visionaria, para Ana Griselda significa “saber lo que queremos y hacia dónde vamos, con un paso más adelante, buscando un mejor futuro para la Sociedad y a su vez para una misma, buscar el bien común”.
La licenciada Balcazar explicó que “es la capacidad de decidir de forma voluntaria hacia dónde vas a dirigir tus metas, tus objetivos con una dirección clara de lo que deseas, enfocada en ti, en tu familia y en Dios”.
Destacó que, el objetivo del despacho es ser un equipo integral, que se maneja con ética y profesionalismo, pero sobre todo con honradez, y hacen todo lo que está a su alcance para ayudar a sus clientes en las diferentes ramas del derecho, “siempre con el compromiso de ayudar a nuestra sociedad”.

Her professional and personal history
Agustina Balcázar Romero is a native of Agua Dulce, Veracruz, who calls herself “a miracle of life” because, at the age of 9 months, she was evicted; however, despite the prognosis, she managed to survive.
Agustina arrived 25 years ago in Ciudad Juárez, where she started working to buy a car to go to the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), where she studied law. The lawyer is happily married and is the mother of two beautiful children, Yarlei and Jordy.
Ana Griselda González was born in Ciudad Juárez; she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Gender Perspective, an Engineering Degree in Manufacturing, and a Diploma in Education; she is a graduate of the UACJ, the highest house of studies.
She has 12 years of work in public service in Governmental Institutions of Procuration of Justice and 20 years in the Maquiladora Industry in Engineering and Process Planning. As well as five years of teaching in various local universities, teaching undergraduate and master’s degree classes in the field of law, as well as; she is a lecturer in family violence prevention. In addition, she is the mother of two children, Ana Paola Rodríguez, a dentist and Alonso Alejandro, who completed the sixth grade, who she said are her motivation to continue working with professionalism and ethics. The same values are in her letter of introduction.
The best thing about being a woman
The best thing about being a woman, Agustina said, has been the possibility of creating life with her partner, with God’s favor. As well as the opportunity to support women in their legal separation processes and understand their affliction in such a difficult moment.
Meanwhile, Ana Griselda commented, “For me, being a woman is a source of pride and beyond the possibility of giving life, but also of creating, building, collaborating and contributing to development in all areas.”
Challenges in their careers
Ms. González pointed out that for her, the most significant challenges have been to face new challenges in the crimes of family violence, where the most affected are the sons and daughters, giving rise to vicarious violence, as well as the tremendous social decomposition that this implies. “My professional career is my passion, and when you are passionate about something, there is no tiredness to demand justice because, without justice, there is no peace.”
For attorney Balcázar, the biggest challenge was to update herself when she finished her law degree in 2011 with the traditional system in family matters. Still, she started litigating until the beginning of 2019, when the oral system was already in force. However, she is passionate about studying, being aware of the latest jurisprudence, and thus being able to support her clients.
Currently, Agustina is a member of the Bar Association of Ciudad Juarez, “for me, it is an honor to belong to such a distinguished association, full of women lawyers and educated in different areas of law, which allows me to be updated in legal issues.”
Daily, the professional must deal with the feelings of anger and resentment that clients have at the time of separation; however, she said, “It is enjoyable to give them peace of mind and make them understand that the most important thing is that the person is well and their children are better off.”
Balancing personal and work life
Agustina declared that “with love for God, with values, rules and discipline and much perseverance, which I apply both at work and home, “ she has balanced her personal and professional life.
They entrust themselves to God in every trial.
For Agustina and her family, God is the most important thing, every day she thanks Him for the blessings received and before each trial, she entrusts herself to Him so that He may give her the wisdom to be able to carry out the problem, as she assured that He has always been present in her life.
Meanwhile, for Mrs. González, “the family is at the center of God’s plan for the happiness and progress of our sons and daughters,” she mentioned.
Being a visionary woman
A visionary woman, for Ana Griselda, means “knowing what we want and where we are going, with a step forward, looking for a better future for society and in turn for oneself, seeking the common good”.
Ms. Balcázar explained that “it is the ability to decide voluntarily where you are going to direct your goals, your objectives with a clear direction of what you want, focused on you, your family and God”.
She emphasized that the objective of the firm is to be an integral team, which is handled with ethics and professionalism, but above all with honesty, and they do everything in their power to help their clients in the different branches of law, “always with the commitment to help our society”.

Educando a la Niñez
Esta escuela tiene como objetivo fomentar valores en los menores, desde la enseñanza bíblica hasta transformar su entorno
Desde hace 30 años la escuela Educando a la Niñez, se dedica a infantes desde preescolar hasta sexto grado de primaria. Se encuentra ubicada en la calle Canutillo número 2430, en la colonia Ladrillera de Ciudad Juárez.
Elsa Ivette Valenzuela Rojas, directora técnica con 15 años de servicio, relató a Visionarias que uno de los principales motivos de haber fundado la institución fue implementar los valores en la infancia, “ya que muchos de nuestros niños desgraciadamente, llegan con valores nulos”.
Una nueva esperanza
Educando a la Niñez inició primero como un comedor infantil, en el cual se dio atención a cerca de 100 menores, sin embargo, se encontró la necesidad de instalar una escuela, pues quienes acudían a comer no estudiaban, por lo cual, se tomó la decisión de abrir el primero y segundo grado, y paulatinamente, se fueron abriendo más, hasta llegar a sexto.
Lo primordial en la institución es fomentar “el amor y el conocimiento a Dios en los niños, sabiendo que todo esto viene por medio de los valores”, por ello, se pensó primero en inculcar esto a través de la enseñanza bíblica, desarrollar al niño en sus habilidades y potencialidades, y en el plan curricular que exige la Secretaría de Educación.
La directora declaró que ha sido difícil, porque están en una zona conflictiva, en un área cercana a Rancho Anapra, “esta es una colonia donde hay diversos problemas de seguridad y pobreza, donde hay mucha gente que está pasando por dificultades y necesidades espirituales, entonces creemos que si llegamos aquí, fue con esa finalidad, de impactar familias”.
‘Nos enfrentamos a muchos retos’
Elsa Iveth recordó que en 2006 se registró una fuerte inundación en la escuela, por lo cual, se perdieron mesabancos y escritorios, “volvimos a empezar la escuela, se fue mucho alumnado, porque mucha gente emigró a otros lugares, donde se les dieron hogares, sin embargo, la obra ha continuado”.
En la actualidad, considera que se viven muchos conflictos en la sociedad, por ello, es importante sembrar esa semilla en los más pequeños, porque una vez que concluyen su educación primaria, “ellos se enfrentan a un mundo totalmente diferente y complicado”, aseguró.
En este sentido, Educando la Niñez, busca crear conciencia en los menores y después que ellos la lleven a sus papás. La directora destacó que, la mayoría de las generaciones han salido adelante, logrando una carrera profesional, e incluso los padres están muy agradecidos.
Asimismo, llevan a cabo una escuela para padres y matrogimnasia, para también capacitarlos en la importancia de dichos valores.
Necesitan ayuda
Actualmente la escuela tiene muchas necesidades, como la rehabilitación de los techos, pisos y se requieren áreas deportivas y recreativas, así como un domo, por lo cual, hizo extensa una invitación a la ciudadanía para apoyarlos con un donativo, a fin de continuar con su labor en la comunidad juarense.

Educating Childhood
This school aims to foster values in minors, from biblical teaching to transforming their environment

For 30 years, the school Educando a la Niñez has been dedicated to children from preschool to sixth grade. It is located at 2430 Canutillo Street, in the Ladrillera neighborhood of Ciudad Juarez.
Elsa Ivette Valenzuela Rojas, technical director with 15 years of service, told Visionarias that one of the main reasons for founding the institution was to implement values in childhood “since many of our children, unfortunately, arrive with no values at all.”
A new hope
Educando a la Niñez began first as a children’s dining room, which served about 100 children; however, the need to install a school was found because those who came to eat did not study, so the decision was made to open the first and second grades. Gradually, more were opened until reaching sixth grade.
The essential thing in the institution is to foster “love and knowledge of God in the children, knowing that all this comes through values”; therefore, the first thought was to instill this through biblical teaching to develop the child’s abilities and potential, and in the curriculum required by the Ministry of Education.
The director stated that it has been difficult because they are in a conflictive zone, in an area close to Rancho Anapra, “this is a neighborhood where there are several security and poverty problems, where there are many people who are going through difficulties and spiritual needs, so we believe that if we came here, it was with that purpose, to impact families.”
‘We face many challenges’
Elsa Iveth recalled that in 2006, there was a strong flood in the school, because of which, desks and desks were lost, “we started the school again, a lot of students left, because many people migrated to other places, where they were given homes; however, the work has continued.”
She considers many societal conflicts; therefore, it is essential to sow that seed in the youngest children because once they finish their primary education, “they face a different and complicated world,” she said.
In this sense, Educando la Niñez seeks to create awareness in children and then take it to their parents. The director pointed out that most generations have moved forward, achieving a professional career, and even the parents are very grateful.
Likewise, they conduct schooling for parents and matrogymnastics to teach them about the importance of these values.
Help is needed
Currently, the school has many needs, such as the rehabilitation of the roofs, floors, sports and recreational areas, and a dome, for which he extended an invitation to citizens to support them with a donation to continue their work in the Juarense community.
Un accidente aéreo cambió su vida, la cual entregó a Dios ese mismo día
Por lo regular los seres humanos solemos recurrir a Dios cuando nos encontramos en una situación extrema o de emergencia, pero cuando logramos salir de la dificultad nos olvidamos de él y de todo aquello que le prometimos a cambio de ayudarnos.
Este no fue el caso de Rocío de la O, una mujer que a sus 17 años se enfrentó a la muerte y al vencerla decidió entregar su vida a Cristo de una vez y para siempre.
Ahora de 62 años, y convertida en pastora, cuenta a Visionarias que la madrugada del 31 de octubre de 1979, el avión en el que viajaba de Los Ángeles a la Ciudad de México explotó en la pista de aterrizaje.
Recuerda que la aeronave entró en una pista equivocada, donde estaba en reparación un camión y al no poder esquivarlo chocó, ocurriendo la explosión. De 97 pasajeros, sólo 13 sobrevivieron, siendo una de las víctimas mortales su primer esposo.
La vida después de la explosión
Aunque pensó que iba a morir en ese accidente, el Señor no quiso que fuera así, en ese momento comenzó su transformación y relación con Dios.
“Han sido los mejores años de mi vida, me ha dado todo… soy una mujer sumamente bendecida en todas las áreas de mi vida, he pasado por muchos procesos, no ha sido una trayectoria fácil, pero Dios a través de todos estos años ha mostrado su amor a mi vida de una manera sobrenatural, en todos los procesos he visto la mano de Dios una y otra vez”, asegura.
Otro comienzo
Dos meses después del accidente, Rocío llegó a vivir a El Paso, Texas, donde conoció a su ahora esposo Jimmy, con quien tiene 39 años de casados, aunque se conocen desde hace 43.
Con él comenzó a congregarse en Asambleas de Dios, donde estuvieron durante una década, ahí se casó y tuvo a sus dos hijos (un hombre y una mujer).
Fue por sus dos pequeños que decidieron cambiarse de iglesia, pues buscaban una donde hubiera ministerio para niños, ahí permanecieron por 9 años hasta que al ver las necesidades de otros –y pese a no querer pastorear– dejaron su negocio y edificaron su iglesia.
Nuevo Pacto
Desde hace 25 años, Rocío y Jimmy están al frente de la Iglesia Cristiana Nuevo Pacto, un ministerio que abarca desde cuneros, pasando por niños, adolescentes, mujeres y matrimonios. También ofrecen conferencias, congresos y otras actividades, entre las más importantes, la entrega de despensas a personas vulnerables.
“Nuestro deseo es que la gente conozca de Cristo, ame al Señor, viva una vida que agrade a Dios, con familias y hogares transformados, que la gente salga de lo que es la religiosidad y conozca el amor de Dios, que pueda disfrutar esa libertad que se tiene en Cristo, libre de vicios, libre de problemas”, afirma la entrevistada.
“El deseo es que la gente sea transformada de adentro hacia afuera, que pueda entender que siempre hay una vida mejor”.
Sobre la entrega de despensas nos informa que se realiza todos los jueves a las 4:00 de la tarde y los miércoles después del ministerio. Esta labor la realizan con sus propios medios, aunque a veces reciben donativos, lo cual les permite apoyar a otras comunidades.

“Si quieres una vida transformada vive para amar a Dios y para amar a la gente”, menciona Rocío, quien ahora tiene con el Señor la relación que siempre deseó.
En medio de su labor pastoral, Rocío comparte cómo una experiencia de vida intensa fortaleció su fe. Hospitalizada con COVID hace dos años, pasó 19 días entubada y requirió una traqueotomía. Aunque salió del hospital 6 semanas después paralizada, gracias a la fe, oraciones y terapias, logró recuperarse. Esta experiencia fue otro testimonio del amor y la misericordia de Dios en su vida.
“Siempre desde que conocí al Señor he buscado tener una relación estrecha con él, íntima… significa todo, él es todo para mi vida”, concluye.

Rocío De la O
A plane crash changed her life, which she gave to God that same day
Usually, humans turn to God when we find ourselves in an extreme emergency. Still, when we escape the difficulty, we forget about him and everything we promised him in exchange for helping us.
This was not the case for Rocío de la O, a woman who, at 17 years old, faced death and, upon defeating it, decided to give her life to Christ once and for all.
Now 62 years old and currently a pastor, she tells Visionarias that in the early hours of October 31, 1979, the plane in which she was traveling from Los Angeles to Mexico City exploded on the runway.
She remembers that the aircraft entered the wrong runway, where a truck was being repaired, and, unable to avoid it, crashed, causing the explosion. Of 97 passengers, only 13 survived, one of the fatalities being her first husband.
Life after the explosion
Although she thought she was going to die in that accident, the Lord did not want it to be that way; at that moment, her transformation and relationship with God began.
“They have been the best years of my life; he has given me everything… I am an extremely blessed woman in all areas of my life; I have gone through many processes. It has not been an easy path, but through all these years, God has “showed his love for my life supernaturally, in all the processes I have seen the hand of God again and again,” she says.
Another beginning
Two months after the accident, Rocío came to live in El Paso, Texas, where she met her now husband Jimmy, with whom she has been married for 39 years, although they have known each other for 43.
With him, she began assembling at the Assemblies of God, where they stayed for a decade, where she married and had two children (a man and a woman).
It was because of the two little ones that they decided to change churches; they were looking for one where there was a ministry for children. They stayed there for nine years until seeing the needs of others – and despite not wanting to pastor – they left their business and built their church.
Nuevo Pacto
For 25 years, Rocío and Jimmy have been at the head of the New Covenant Christian Church, a ministry that ranges from nurseries to children, adolescents, women, and couples. They also offer conferences, congresses, and other activities, among the most important of which are delivering food supplies to vulnerable people.
“We desire that people know about Christ, love the Lord, live a life that pleases God, with families and homes transformed, that people leave what religiosity is and know the love of God, that they can enjoy that freedom that one has in Christ, free from vices, free from problems,” says the interviewee.
“The desire is for people to be transformed from the inside out, to understand that there is always a better life.”
Regarding the delivery of pantries, she informs us that it takes place every Thursday at 4:00 in the afternoon and on Wednesdays after the ministry. They carry out this work with their resources, although sometimes they receive donations, which allows them to support other communities.

During her pastoral work, Rocío shares how an intense life experience strengthened her faith. Hospitalized with COVID two years ago, she spent 19 days intubated and required a tracheostomy. Although she left the hospital six weeks later paralyzed, thanks to faith, prayers, and therapies, she managed to recover. This experience was another testimony of God’s love and mercy in his life.
“Always since I met the Lord, I have sought to have a close, intimate relationship with him… it means everything; he is everything to my life,” she concludes.

Un grupo de verdadera amistad al servicio de Dios y de la comunidad fronteriza
Una comunidad apoyada en una verdadera amistad es como podemos describir a Mujeres con Propósito, ministerio que desde hace 33 años ha encabezado la pastora Aida Mauricio.
En entrevista para Visionarias, Aida cuenta que el objetivo de este grupo es ayudar y proteger a cualquier Pastora que se acerque a ellas en busca de consejo emocional, espiritual y económico.
En Mujeres con propósito “ Todas pasamos por las mismas situaciones y nos comprendemos, nos apoyamos y no hay lugar para la crítica”, dice.
Recuerda haber empezado este grupo junto a unas cuantas pastoras con quienes tenía el deseo de conocerse, protegerse y cuidarse, “somos amigas y eso es lo primordial, la amistad dentro de nosotras”, menciona Mauricio, quien también presume la unión que se ha dado entre quienes conforman a Mujeres con Propósito.
Tanta es esa unión que incluso conviven fuera de las actividades agendadas, las cuales ella, como líder, es quien planea y todo el equipo organiza los eventos en los que buscan ayudar y atraer a más mujeres a la causa, para lo cual se apoya en las otras pastoras, las cuales tienen labores establecidas para lograr el propósito del día.
“Es tan bonito verlas… el amor con que lo hacen, eso es precisamente lo más importante; lo que nos une es el amor y todo lo que hacemos lo hacemos por amor”, dice emocionada.
Precisamente esa emoción la lleva a desear que otras pastoras se unan a ella, quien, en junio de 1991, dio el primer paso, luego de que se diera cuenta que le hacía falta un ministerio de pastoras que le aconsejara o la guiara en el camino de la ayuda y el servicio.
Es por eso, que a través de esta edición hace un llamado nuestras lectoras, “quisiéramos que todas las pastoras de Ciudad Juárez y de otras partes se unieran a este grupo… Mujeres con Propósito les hace una invitación abierta a que vengan, se integren, van a ver que las abrazamos, van a ver que las recibimos con amor”, o si lo prefieren, agregó, busquen otro grupo, que les otorgue la ayuda que necesiten.
Lo anterior con el único objetivo de que cumplan con el llamado de Dios.
“Para Dios valen mucho, son su más preciado tesoro y si en algún momento, alguna persona las ha rechazado, quiero decirles que Dios es amor, el Señor les ama y en este tiempo, en este mes que se celebra el Día del Amor y la amistad, el que ama profundamente es él”, dice en su mensaje Aida Mauricio, quien nos recuerda que fue Dios, en su más grande muestra de su amor hacia nosotros, el que dio a su único hijo para que “nosotros tuviéramos esa salvación, que es gratis, solamente es decirle ‘si tú me amas yo te quiero en mi corazón’”.

A group of true friendships at the service of God and the border community
A community supported by true friendship is how we can describe Women with Purpose, a ministry that Pastor Aida Mauricio has led for 34 years.
In an interview for Visionarias, Aida says that the objective of this group is to help and protect any Pastor who approaches them in search of emotional, spiritual, and even economic advice.
In Women with Purpose, “We all go through the same situation, and we understand each other, we support each other, and we don’t criticize each other,” she says.
She remembers having started this group with a few shepherds with whom they had the desire to get to know each other, protect themselves, and take care of each other, “we are friends, and that is the most important thing, the friendship within us,” mentions Mauricio, who also boasts of the union that has occurred… among those who make up Women with Purpose.
This union is so great that they even coexist outside the scheduled activities. As a leader, she is the one who plans, and the entire team organizes the events in which they seek to help and attract more women to the cause, for which they rely on the other shepherdesses, who have established jobs to achieve the day’s purpose.
“It is so beautiful to see them… the love with which they do it, precisely the most important thing. What unites us is love, and everything we do, we do for love,” she says excitedly.
Precisely, that emotion leads her to want other pastors to join her, who, in June 1991, took the first step after she realized that she needed a ministry of pastors to advise or guide her along the way… of help and service.

“For God, they are worth a lot; they are his most precious treasure, and if at any time, someone has rejected them, I want to tell them that God is love, the Lord loves them, and in this time, in this month, that is celebrated the Day of Love and friendship, the one who loves deeply is he,” says Aida Mauricio in her message, who reminds us that it was God, in the most outstanding example of his love for us, who gave his only son so that “we would have that salvation, which is free, is just saying ‘if you love me, I love you in my heart.'”
