Las abogadas Agustina Balcazar Romero y Ana Griselda González Torres, laboran en el despacho jurídico CGBG “Balcázar, abogados y asociados”, oficina que atiende asuntos legales, a través de asesorías con personal profesional en materia jurídica del área Familiar, Penal, Civil y laboral, siempre basado en valores de honradez y compromiso hacia sus clientes. Ambas forman parte de la asociación de mujeres independientes.
Su historia profesional y personal
La licenciada Agustina Balcazar Romero, es originaria de Agua Dulce, Veracruz, quien se autodenomina “un milagro de la vida”, pues a los 9 meses de edad fue desahuciada, sin embargo, pese a los pronósticos logró sobrevivir.
Agustina llegó hace 25 años a Ciudad Juárez, aquí comenzó a trabajar para comprar un carro, con el fin de transportarse a la Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), en donde estudió la Licenciatura en Derecho. La abogada está felizmente casada, y es madre de dos hermosos hijos, Yarlei y Jordy.
La maestra Ana Griselda González, nació en Ciudad Juárez; es licenciada en Derecho, con maestría en Derechos Humanos y Perspectiva de Género, es Ingeniería en Manufactura, y tiene un diplomado en Educación, es egresada de la máxima casa de estudios, UACJ.
Tiene 12 años de labor en el servicio público en Instituciones Gubernamentales de Procuración de Justicia, y 20 años en la Industria Maquiladora, en el área de Ingeniería y Planeación de Procesos. Así como 5 años en la docencia en diversas universidades de la localidad, impartiendo clases en Licenciatura y Maestría, en la materia de Derecho; así como, es conferencista en prevención de violencia familiar. Además, es madre de dos hijos, Ana Paola Rodríguez, médica odontóloga y Alonso Alejandro, que concluyó el sexto grado de primaria, quienes dijo son su motivación para seguir trabajando con profesionalismo y ética, mismos valores que son su carta de presentación.
Lo mejor de ser mujer
Lo mejor de ser mujer, dijo Agustina ha sido la posibilidad de crear vida con su pareja, con el favor de Dios. Así como la oportunidad de poder apoyar a las mujeres en sus procesos legales de separación y comprender su aflicción en un momento tan complicando de sus vidas.
En tanto que, Ana Griselda comentó que “para mi ser mujer es un orgullo y más allá de la posibilidad de dar vida, si no de crear, construir, colaborar y aportar al desarrollo en todos los ámbitos”.
Retos en sus carreras
La maestra González señaló que para ella, los retos más grandes han sido enfrentar nuevos desafíos, en los delitos de violencia familiar, donde los más afectados son los hijos e hijas, dando lugar a la violencia vicaria, así como, la gran descomposición social que esto implica. “Mi Carrera profesional es mi pasión y cuando algo te apasiona no hay cansancio para exigir justicia, ya que sin justicia no hay paz”.
Para la abogada Balcazar el mayor reto fue actualizarse, al concluir la carrera de derecho en el 2011, con el sistema tradicional en materia familiar, pero inició a litigar hasta principios del 2019, cuando ya se encontraba vigente el sistema por oralidad. Sin embargo, le apasiona estudiar, estar al pendiente de las últimas jurisprudencias y así poder apoyar a sus clientes.
Actualmente, Agustina pertenece al Colegio de Abogadas de Ciudad Juárez, “para mí es un honor pertenecer a tan distinguido colegio, lleno de mujeres letradas e instruidas en las diferentes áreas del derecho, lo cual me permite estar actualizada en temas Jurídicos”.
En el día a día, la profesionista debe tratar con los sentimientos de coraje y resentimiento que tienen los clientes al momento de una separación; sin embargo, dijo “es muy grato darles tranquilidad y hacerles comprender que lo más importante es que la persona esté bien y sus hijos estén mejor”.
Equilibrar la vida personal y laboral
Agustina declaró que “con amor a Dios, con valores, reglas y disciplina y mucha perseverancia, eso lo aplico tanto en mi trabajo, como en mi hogar”, ha logrado equilibrar tanto su vida personal, como profesional.
Se encomiendan a Dios en cada juicio
Para Agustina y su familia Dios es lo más importante, cada día le da gracias por las bendiciones recibidas y antes de cada juicio se encomienda a él, para que le dé la sabiduría de poder llevar el juicio, pues aseguró siempre ha estado presente en su vida.
Mientras que, para la maestra González “la familia está en el centro del Plan de Dios para la Felicidad y el progreso de nuestros hijos e hijas”, mencionó.
Ser mujer visionaria
Una mujer visionaria, para Ana Griselda significa “saber lo que queremos y hacia dónde vamos, con un paso más adelante, buscando un mejor futuro para la Sociedad y a su vez para una misma, buscar el bien común”.
La licenciada Balcazar explicó que “es la capacidad de decidir de forma voluntaria hacia dónde vas a dirigir tus metas, tus objetivos con una dirección clara de lo que deseas, enfocada en ti, en tu familia y en Dios”.
Destacó que, el objetivo del despacho es ser un equipo integral, que se maneja con ética y profesionalismo, pero sobre todo con honradez, y hacen todo lo que está a su alcance para ayudar a sus clientes en las diferentes ramas del derecho, “siempre con el compromiso de ayudar a nuestra sociedad”.

Her professional and personal history
Agustina Balcázar Romero is a native of Agua Dulce, Veracruz, who calls herself “a miracle of life” because, at the age of 9 months, she was evicted; however, despite the prognosis, she managed to survive.
Agustina arrived 25 years ago in Ciudad Juárez, where she started working to buy a car to go to the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), where she studied law. The lawyer is happily married and is the mother of two beautiful children, Yarlei and Jordy.
Ana Griselda González was born in Ciudad Juárez; she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, a Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Gender Perspective, an Engineering Degree in Manufacturing, and a Diploma in Education; she is a graduate of the UACJ, the highest house of studies.
She has 12 years of work in public service in Governmental Institutions of Procuration of Justice and 20 years in the Maquiladora Industry in Engineering and Process Planning. As well as five years of teaching in various local universities, teaching undergraduate and master’s degree classes in the field of law, as well as; she is a lecturer in family violence prevention. In addition, she is the mother of two children, Ana Paola Rodríguez, a dentist and Alonso Alejandro, who completed the sixth grade, who she said are her motivation to continue working with professionalism and ethics. The same values are in her letter of introduction.
The best thing about being a woman
The best thing about being a woman, Agustina said, has been the possibility of creating life with her partner, with God’s favor. As well as the opportunity to support women in their legal separation processes and understand their affliction in such a difficult moment.
Meanwhile, Ana Griselda commented, “For me, being a woman is a source of pride and beyond the possibility of giving life, but also of creating, building, collaborating and contributing to development in all areas.”
Challenges in their careers
Ms. González pointed out that for her, the most significant challenges have been to face new challenges in the crimes of family violence, where the most affected are the sons and daughters, giving rise to vicarious violence, as well as the tremendous social decomposition that this implies. “My professional career is my passion, and when you are passionate about something, there is no tiredness to demand justice because, without justice, there is no peace.”
For attorney Balcázar, the biggest challenge was to update herself when she finished her law degree in 2011 with the traditional system in family matters. Still, she started litigating until the beginning of 2019, when the oral system was already in force. However, she is passionate about studying, being aware of the latest jurisprudence, and thus being able to support her clients.
Currently, Agustina is a member of the Bar Association of Ciudad Juarez, “for me, it is an honor to belong to such a distinguished association, full of women lawyers and educated in different areas of law, which allows me to be updated in legal issues.”
Daily, the professional must deal with the feelings of anger and resentment that clients have at the time of separation; however, she said, “It is enjoyable to give them peace of mind and make them understand that the most important thing is that the person is well and their children are better off.”
Balancing personal and work life
Agustina declared that “with love for God, with values, rules and discipline and much perseverance, which I apply both at work and home, “ she has balanced her personal and professional life.
They entrust themselves to God in every trial.
For Agustina and her family, God is the most important thing, every day she thanks Him for the blessings received and before each trial, she entrusts herself to Him so that He may give her the wisdom to be able to carry out the problem, as she assured that He has always been present in her life.
Meanwhile, for Mrs. González, “the family is at the center of God’s plan for the happiness and progress of our sons and daughters,” she mentioned.
Being a visionary woman
A visionary woman, for Ana Griselda, means “knowing what we want and where we are going, with a step forward, looking for a better future for society and in turn for oneself, seeking the common good”.
Ms. Balcázar explained that “it is the ability to decide voluntarily where you are going to direct your goals, your objectives with a clear direction of what you want, focused on you, your family and God”.
She emphasized that the objective of the firm is to be an integral team, which is handled with ethics and professionalism, but above all with honesty, and they do everything in their power to help their clients in the different branches of law, “always with the commitment to help our society”.

‘El éxito de mi vida se debe al poder encontrar y abonar al valor que tiene mi esposa’, dice el doctor Carlos Vélez, fundador y presidente de Oikos y quien desde hace 32 años está casado con Rosse, su complemento perfecto.
Durante 32 años, el doctor Carlos Vélez y su esposa, Rosse, han logrado mantener el equilibrio perfecto tanto en su matrimonio y familia, como en el proyecto más importante que han emprendido hasta hoy, Oikos.
En Visionarias platicamos con el creador de la marca que ha logrado certificar en sólo 7 años a 962 mil 582 líderes en el área empresarial, organizacional y eclesiástica, lo cual asegura no sería posible sin la labor de quien conoció cuando ambos trabajaban para una empresa del mismo ramo.
Vélez nos cuenta que él y Rosse, ambos originarios de Puerto Rico, se casaron a sólo un año de conocerse, hoy –más de tres décadas después y dos hijas en común–, se dedican a viajar y compartir su conocimiento con el mundo.
Entre ambos fundaron el 1 de julio de 2018 la organización de impacto llamada Oikos (oikosusa.org), la cual se encarga de capacitar y entrenar personal de empresas, organizaciones, universidades y otras, enfocados en áreas de liderazgo, finanzas y desarrollo organizacional.
La misión de Oikos era entrenar un millón de líderes alrededor del mundo para el año 2030, sin embargo, desde su creación a diciembre de 2024, faltan menos de 40 mil para llegar a la meta.
“El trabajo funciona porque ambos nos sometimos a un estudio de nuestra personalidad y descubrimos nuestras fortalezas y nuestras debilidades, y algo que hemos utilizado al máximo es que mis debilidades son sus fortalezas y viceversa… nosotros no competimos, nosotros nos complementamos”, dice el doctor.
Sobre compartir el trabajo con su esposa, menciona que han logrado todo lo que se han propuesto como pareja gracias a que son el complemento uno del otro. Dice ser una persona de una visión muy amplia, orientado a estar frente a la gente, mientras que Rosse está más en los detalles.
“Yo no podría hacer lo que hago si no lo hiciera con mi esposa… ella es la persona que mantiene todo en orden para que yo pueda vivir la locura que estoy viviendo”, nos dice.
Él también nos habla de los momentos en que hay diferencias, “pero como conocemos nuestras fortalezas en las áreas en las que yo soy fuerte, mi experiencia y mi opinión tiende a prevalecer, y en las áreas de experiencia y de fortaleza de mi esposa su opinión y su experiencia tienden a prevalecer”, asegura.
Menciona que como parte de sus acuerdos está en que Rosse viaja con él dos fines de semana al mes, el resto se queda en casa haciendo el trabajo administrativo, mientras él sigue impartiendo sus conferencias y certificaciones por Norte, Centro y Suramérica, además de Europa, Asia y África.
“Si nosotros nos enfocamos en madurar, en entender que juntos podemos llegar más lejos que por separado, vale la pena añadirle valor a la persona con la que te casaste porque esa persona no te va a quitar nada, todo lo contrario, si esa persona crece, tú creces”, dice.
Justo lo anterior es lo que espera que sus hijas sepan sobre el matrimonio, ahora que las dos están casadas, sobre todo que “dos son mejor que uno… mi esposa no es mi competencia, es mi complemento”, agrega.
Por lo pronto y para celebrar la llegada al millón de líderes certificados por Oikos, Carlos y Rosse irán a Europa, desde donde seguirán trabajando para mantener el éxito de su empresa y también de su feliz matrimonio.

‘The success of my life is due to being able to find and pay for the value that my wife has,’ says Dr. Carlos Velez, founder and president of Oikos and who has been married to Rosse for 32 years, his perfect complement.
For 32 years, Dr. Carlos Velez and his wife, Rosse, have managed to maintain the perfect balance in their marriage and family, as well as in the most important project they have undertaken to date, Oikos.
In Visionarias we spoke with the creator of the brand that has managed to certify 962,582 leaders in the business, organizational and ecclesiastical areas in just 7 years, which he says would not have been possible without the work of someone he met when they both worked for a company in the same field.
Velez tells us that he and Rosse, both originally from Puerto Rico, got married just one year after meeting each other, and today – more than three decades later and with two daughters in common – they dedicate themselves to traveling and sharing their knowledge with the world.
Together, they founded the impact organization called Oikos (oikosusa.org) on July 1, 2018, which is responsible for training and coaching staff from companies, organizations, universities, and others, focused on areas of leadership, finance, and organizational development.
Oikos’ mission was to train one million leaders around the world by 2030, however, since its creation in December 2024, there are less than 40,000 left to reach the goal.
“The work works because we both underwent a study of our personality and discovered our strengths and weaknesses, and something we have used to the maximum is that my weaknesses are their strengths and vice versa… we do not compete, we complement each other,” says the doctor.
Regarding sharing work with his wife, he mentions that they have achieved everything they have set out to do as a couple thanks to the fact that they complement each other. He says that he is a person with a very broad vision, oriented to being in front of people, while Rosse is more into the details.
“I couldn’t do what I do if I didn’t do it with my wife… she is the person who keeps everything in order so that I can live the madness that I am living,” he tells us.
He also tells us about the moments when there are differences, “but since we know our strengths in the areas in which I am strong, my experience and my opinion tend to prevail, and in the areas of experience and strength of my wife, her opinion and her experience tend to prevail,” he assures.
He mentions that as part of their agreement, Rosse travels with him two weekends a month, the rest of the time she stays at home doing the administrative work, while he continues giving his conferences and certifications throughout North, Central and South America, as well as Europe, Asia and Africa.
“If we focus on maturing, on understanding that together we can go further than separately, it is worth adding value to the person you married because that person is not going to take anything away from you, on the contrary, if that person grows, you grow,” he says.
This is precisely what he hopes his daughters know about marriage, now that they are both married, especially that “two are better than one… my wife is not my competition, she is my complement,” he adds.
For now, and to celebrate the arrival of one million leaders certified by Oikos, Carlos and Rosse will go to Europe, from where they will continue working to maintain the success of their company and also their happy marriage.
Embajadora global de One Hope que pone la palabra de Dios en las manos de los niños del mundo
Con el lema “La palabra de Dios en cada niño” Enid Almanzar a recorrido el mundo como parte de la organización One Hope, de la que es embajadora global.
Nacida en Puerto Rico, pero criada en Nueva York, desde los 15 años de edad Enid ha seguido los pasos de Dios, quien la llamó a su ministerio tras ciertas dificultades que la hoy pastora vivía mientras crecía al lado de su madre y la pareja de esta.
Nuestra visionaria de enero nos cuenta que, al nacer con problemas del corazón, su mamá decidió llevarla a Nueva York en busca de mejores condiciones médicas, dejando a su padre en la isla.
Esta situación y la nueva relación de su madre la hizo mantener un enojo con Dios, pues además tenían dificultades para tener comida en la mesa o ropa para ir a la escuela, además que padecía bulliyng en la escuela.
Fue entonces y ante la rebeldía que comenzaba a expresar que su mamá la envió a un retiro, lugar en el que por primera vez escuchó el llamado del Señor.
“Desde que entré al edificio sentí una presencia, pero diferente, era la presencia de Dios, yo la vi, la gente estaba hablando en lenguas, estaban cayendo en espíritu, era algo muy raro que yo nunca experimenté”, nos cuenta.
Sin embargo, a su regreso a casa todo seguía igual y no fue hasta que una amiga le regaló “el libro de esperanza de la vida de Jesús” (La Biblia) que por fin pudo conocer la vida de Dios y sus sacrificios.
Y aunque ya intentaba saber más acerca de la palabra, la joven Enid siguió con su vida y sus planes de ser abogada, hasta que en el último año de la universidad acudió a un campo de jóvenes donde fue voluntaria y conoció los programas que la acercaron al cristianismo, por lo cual dejó la escuela de leyes de la Universidad de Nueva York e inició con la teología.
Dejar el derecho y convertirse en promotora de la palabra, dice Enid, no fue idea suya, “no fue plan mío… el Señor me dio esa semilla para decir, te estoy preparando”. Fue entonces que Cristo la llevó de la mano por el camino de la evangelización.
One Hope
Antes de la pandemia por Covid-19, menciona, comenzó su pasión por el ministerio internacional.
Fue entonces que llegó a One Hope, un ministerio de evangelización global que se enfoca en poner Biblias y escrituras en manos de niños, “la misión es muy sencilla, la Palabra de Dios en cada niño”.
Informa que esta organización “fue fundada por una familia de misioneros de las asambleas de Dios, y el fundador desde pequeño era evangelista, iba a diferentes partes del mundo para predicar y para fundar iglesias, y en el año 1987 el Señor le dio un sueño, en el que le mostró al enemigo atacando a la próxima generación”, es así que comenzó la labor de la organización sin fines de lucro.
Ahora Enid Almazar es embajadora global de One Hope y se encarga de crear programas y relaciones a nivel global a través de compañías de comunicación masiva, en las que incluso hay misioneros digitales que llevan el mensaje por todo el mundo.
Esta labor la comparte con su esposo y sus hijos, con quienes asegura comprendió el verdadero amor.
“Ese amor para un hijo me ayudó a entender ese amor que el Señor tiene para nosotros como padres… es ese amor inagotable que permanece, incondicional”, dice sobre ese sentimiento que espera compartir con otras mujeres a quienes les manda un mensaje.
“No tengan miedo, el Señor no hizo error cuando nos creó como mujeres, él supo que el mundo necesitaba mujeres poderosas, mujeres de visión, que iban a ser valientes… no tengan miedo, no se rindan”.
Enid Almanzar
One Hope Global Ambassador putting God’s word into the hands of the world’s children.
With the motto “The Word of God in every child,” Enid Almanzar has traveled the world as part of the One Hope organization, of which she is a global ambassador.
Born in Puerto Rico but raised in New York, since she was 15 years old Enid has followed the steps of God, who called her to his ministry after certain difficulties that the current pastor experienced while growing up with her mother and her mother’s partner.
Our January visionary tells us that, when she was born with heart problems, her mother decided to take her to New York in search of better medical conditions, leaving her father on the island.
This situation and her mother’s new relationship made her angry with God, because they also had difficulties to have food on the table or clothes to go to school, and she also suffered bullying at school.
It was then, and in the face of the rebellion she began to express, that her mother sent her to a retreat, a place where she heard the call of the Lord for the first time.
“From the moment I entered the building I felt a presence, but different, it was the presence of God, I saw it, people were speaking in tongues, they were falling in spirit, it was something very strange that I had never experienced,” she tells us.
However, when she returned home, everything was the same and it was not until a friend gave her “the book of hope of the life of Jesus” (The Bible) that she was finally able to learn about the life of God and his sacrifices.
And although she was already trying to learn more about the word, young Enid continued with her life and her plans to be a lawyer, until in her last year of college she went to a youth camp where she volunteered and learned about the programs that brought her closer to Christianity, so she left law school at New York University and began studying theology.
Leaving law and becoming a preacher, Enid says, was not her idea, “it was not my plan… the Lord gave me that seed to say, I am preparing you.” It was then that Christ led her by the hand on the path of evangelization.
One Hope
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, she says, her passion for international ministry began.
It was then that he came to One Hope, a global evangelization ministry that focuses on putting Bibles and scriptures in the hands of children, “the mission is very simple, the Word of God in every child.”
She reports that this organization “was founded by a family of missionaries from the Assemblies of God, and the founder was an evangelist since he was a child, he went to different parts of the world to preach and found churches, and in 1987 the Lord gave him a dream, in which he showed him the enemy attacking the next generation,” and this is how the work of the non-profit organization began.
Now Enid Almazar is a global ambassador for One Hope and is in charge of creating programs and relationships at a global level through mass communication companies, in which there are even digital missionaries who carry the message around the world.
She shares this work with her husband and her children, with whom she says she understood true love.
“That love for a child helped me understand that love that the Lord has for us as parents… it is that inexhaustible love that remains, unconditional,” she says about that feeling that she hopes to share with other women to whom she sends a message.
“Do not be afraid, the Lord did not make a mistake when he created us as women, he knew that the world needed powerful women, women of vision, who were going to be brave… do not be afraid, do not give up.”
Familias con Propósito: 22 años rescatando y restaurando hogares
Fundada con la misión de bendecir y rescatar a las familias, la Iglesia Familias con Propósito ha sido un pilar de esperanza y fe en la comunidad.
Junto con su esposo el pastor Mario Valenzuela, Cecilia Beltrán fundó la iglesia con la visión de restaurar a las familias a su propósito original, según la Biblia.
Hace 22 años, Familias con Propósito comenzó en una modesta carpa en el área de Salvárcar, en las inmediaciones de la Avenida de las Torres y Jilotepec, en Ciudad Juárez. Cecilia y su esposo iniciaron su misión después de graduarse de un instituto bíblico. A pesar de los desafíos iniciales, incluyendo la pérdida momentánea de su equipo y mobiliario, la fe y el apoyo de la comunidad los mantuvieron firmes. Eventualmente, un terreno les fue donado, permitiéndoles construir su propio edificio después de años de esfuerzos y ofrendas.
La fe inquebrantable de la congregación ha sido respaldada por numerosos milagros y sanidades. Cecilia comparte: “Dios nos ha respaldado con sanidades y restauraciones asombrosas”. Personas han sido sanadas de cáncer, problemas pulmonares y lesiones físicas. Además, matrimonios en crisis han encontrado restauración y propósito en su fe”. Estos milagros no solo han transformado vidas individuales, sino también la comunidad en su conjunto.
Su historia personal incluso es testimonio de sanidad y milagros. “Mis hijos son un milagro de Dios”, afirma, recordando cómo pese al diagnóstico de infertilidad, pudo concebir a tres hijos, quienes son prueba viva del poder de Dios. Su historia es un recordatorio del poder de la fe y la gracia divina en las vidas de aquellos que creen y confían en Dios.
Lo que comenzó como una misión de ayuda se ha convertido en una congregación vibrante y activa que no solo se reúne para el culto, sino que también participa en comedores comunitarios, proporcionando comida y la palabra de Dios a niños y padres necesitados. Además, han surgido otros ministerios, incluyendo ya ayuda mujeres maltratadas y en situaciones de riesgo.
La importancia de la mujer en el ministerio
Familias con Propósito es ejemplo del papel vital de las mujeres en la evangelización y el ministerio. Cecilia explica: “La Biblia está llena de historias de mujeres que fueron de gran influencia y salvación para su pueblo”. Desde las historias bíblicas de Ruth, Raquel y Esther, hasta el ejemplo de la mujer samaritana, las mujeres han desempeñado un papel crucial en la difusión del evangelio y el servicio comunitario.
Con una comunidad de entre 200 y 250 miembros, la asociación continúa creciendo y extendiendo su alcance. Cecilia dice con entusiasmo: “Empezamos con 25 personas y queremos llegar a muchas más, llevando el evangelio y las buenas nuevas de salvación”. La familia Beltrán también participa activamente en el ministerio, con sus hijos sirviendo en diferentes roles dentro de la iglesia.

A divine call for the family
Families with Purpose: 22 years rescuing and restoring homes
Founded to bless and rescue families, Families with Purpose Church has been a pillar of hope and faith in the community.
Along with her husband, Pastor Mario Valenzuela, Cecilia Beltran founded the church with the vision of restoring families to their original purpose, according to the Bible.
Twenty-two years ago, Familias con Propósito began in a modest tent in the Salvárcar area near Avenida de las Torres and Jilotepec in Ciudad Juárez. Cecilia and her husband started their mission after graduating from Bible school. Despite initial challenges, including the momentary loss of equipment and furniture, faith and community support kept them going. Eventually, land was donated to them, allowing them to build their building after years of effort and giving.
Numerous miracles and healings have backed the congregation’s unwavering faith. Cecilia shares, “God has backed us up with amazing healings and restorations.” People have been healed of cancer, lung problems, and physical injuries. Also, marriages in crisis have found restoration and purpose in their faith.” These miracles have transformed individual lives and the community as a whole.
Her personal story even bears witness to healing and miracles. “My children are a miracle of God,” she says, recalling how, despite a diagnosis of infertility, she could conceive three children, living proof of God’s power. Her story reminds us of the power of faith and divine grace in the lives of those who believe and trust in God.
What began as a relief mission has grown into a vibrant and active congregation that gathers for worship and participates in soup kitchens, providing food and the word of God to children and parents in need. In addition, other ministries have sprung up, including helping abused and at-risk women.
The importance of women in ministry
Families with Purpose is an example of the vital role of women in evangelism and ministry. Cecilia explains, “The Bible is full of stories of women who were of great influence and salvation to their people.” From the biblical stories of Ruth, Rachel, and Esther to the example of the Samaritan woman, women have played a crucial role in spreading the gospel and community service.
With a community of between 200 and 250 members, the association continues to grow and extend its reach. Cecilia enthusiastically says, “We started with 25 people, and we want to reach many more, bringing the gospel and the good news of salvation.” The Beltran family is also actively involved in the ministry, with their children serving in different roles within the church.
Familias con Propósito remains committed to restoring and strengthening families, bringing hope and healing through the word of God. With an unwavering faith and a dedicated community, they continue to be a beacon of light and love amidst the difficulties and challenges of the modern world.
