La palabra de Dios que nos anima y alienta a continuar cada día
Durante la primavera de 1999 (ya hace varios años) el Señor alcanzó mi vida, me salvó, y eso ha sido lo más hermoso y significativo en toda mi existencia.
Que él viera mi alma y espíritu necesitado, y me concediera su perdón fue algo que nunca pensé y ni siquiera quería, pero era algo que yo necesitaba. Él lo sabía, yo andaba por ahí con un vacío enorme en mi corazón y en mi vida completamente desordenada.
Sí, Jesús, aquel que dio su vida por mí para que yo tuviera vida eterna vino a llenar ese gran vacío en mi corazón y aquí estoy 24 años después para la gloria de Dios, aún aprendiendo a vivir mi vida con Cristo en medio de las dificultades de cada día, en medio de la belleza también, sí, porque él está conmigo y sin él no podría vivir.
Su palabra me da aliento, su Espíritu Santo es quien guía mis pasos, o mejor dicho los endereza siempre que ve que me estoy desviando del camino.
Hace algunos años pensé que estaba atravesando situaciones difíciles en mi vida, mi matrimonio tenía problemas que yo pensé no tenían solución, caí en pecado terriblemente, fue un tiempo muy doloroso que aún el Señor está sanando. Sin él no lo hubiera podido resistir, el Señor fiel a su palabra no sólo sostuvo mi vida sino la de toda mi familia.
Ahora, siento que vuelven momentos difíciles, sin embargo, aquí está el Señor nuevamente conmigo, un día a la vez, obrando a través del sufrimiento y ayudándome a encontrar gozo en él.
“Jehova es mi fortaleza y mi escudo; en él confió mi corazón, y fui ayudado, por lo que se gozó mi corazón, y con cántico le alabaré”
Salmo 28:7
En estas y otras ituaciones de mi vida, uno de los recursos que ha sido siempre de ayuda es mi devocional diario, es “Nuestro Pan Diario” de cada año, la palabra de Dios para cada día con una pequeña historia que no sólo nos instruye, sino que nos anima y alienta a continuar un día a la vez.
“Asi que, no os congojeis por el dia de mañana, que el dia de mañana traerá su fatiga: basta al dia su afan”

The word of God that encourages us and encourages us to continue every day
During the spring of 1999 (several years ago now), the Lord reached into my life and saved me; that has been the most beautiful and significant thing in my existence.
For him to see my soul and spirit in need and grant me his forgiveness was something I had never thought about or even wanted, but it was something I needed. He knew it; I was walking around with a massive void in my heart and my life completely disordered.
Yes, Jesus, who gave his life for me so I could have eternal life, came to fill that great void in my heart. Here I am 24 years later for the glory of God, still learning to live my life with Christ amid the difficulties of every day and amid beauty, too. Yes, because he is with me, I could not live without him.
His word encourages me; his Holy Spirit is the one who guides my steps or instead straightens them whenever he sees that I am straying from the path.
A few years ago, I thought I was going through challenging situations in my life; my marriage had problems that I thought had no solution, and I fell into sin terribly; it was a harrowing time when the Lord was still healing. Without him, I would not have been able to resist it. The Lord, faithful to his word, sustained my life and that of my entire family.
Now, I feel the hard times coming again, yet here, the Lord is with me again, one day at a time, working through the suffering and helping me find joy.
“Jehovah is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in him, and I was helped, so my heart rejoiced, and I will praise him with a song”
Psalm 28:7
In these and other situations in my life, one of the resources that have always been helpful is my daily devotional; it is “Our Daily Bread” for each year, the word of God for each day with a small story that not only instructs us but encourages us and encourages us to continue one day at a time.
“Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its fatigue: its worry is enough for the day.”
Matthew 6:34
